The Blessings and Meaning of Salawāt upon the Prophet (SAW) | Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi 

For a very long time I had an aversion in my heart towards Shaykh Yasir, mainly because of his Salafi religious educational background. I thank Allah for removing that from my heart through the advice of my wife and brother-in-law. We should not harbor ill will towards our striving fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, it only diminishes us individually and in this case, cuts us off from much beneficial knowledge. I seek Allah’s forgiveness and Shaykh Yasir’s forgiveness for my past state. I pray Allah continues to elevate the Shaykh in his journey and hope we all are elevated through his growing knowledge. This transformation in our brother as he ages should not surprise anyone, even the the great Shaykhs of the past transformed within their lifetime, Imam Ghazzali is just one such example. I pray to Allah for his good health, longevity and continued increase in knowledge.

Born and raised in a non Islamic country, and being a Muslim, it is extremely hard to find answers to questions such as one covered in this video. There are so many different versions out there that you easily get confused unless you have a phd in Islam. I must say that I really feel blessed to have such a knowledgeable imam right at my fingertips, to increase my knowledge in Islam, specially those difficult topics. Prophet Muhammad (SWW): Indeed, knowledge only comes by learning. May Allah bless Yasir Qadhi for sharing his knowledge with us, and give him a long life so we muslims can benefit from him as long as we can.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace.

How can anyone dislike the these beneficial videos 😟😟

1) For every Salah that we pray to Allah to give to our Prophet (PBUH). Allah SWT returns the favour unto us 10 times (Sahih Muslim) 2) Rasullulah PBUH has said " Whoever recites Salat on me one time, ten good deeds will be written down for him, ten sins will be erased and ten ranks will be raised for him in Jannah (Imam Ahmed) 3) Hadith: "If you send Salat upon me continuously in that case Allah SWT will take care of all your needs and anxieties" 4). Whoever recites Salat upon me 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening it becomes obligatory upon me to intercede for them on judgement day.

Prophet Ibrahim as is famous

Sulii Meaning 4:43. 5:17 Ahl 9:25. 9:45

Based on my understanding after reading the Scriptures, I believe, ‘Ale Mohammed’ are the family and progeny of prophet Mohammad {blessings and peace of Allah be upon him and his family (bpahhf)} who are divinely guided, and with the intercession and blessings of Prophet Muhammad and his Ale, who are divinely guided, to whoever they request and intercede for with Allah (swt) to be part of their family are Ale by extension or whatever they request/ask Allah for, with the permission, granting and blessings of Allah. And, according to the the scriptures lady Fatima a.s., imam ali a.s., imam Hassan a.s., imam Hussain a.s. lady Zainab a.s. and rest of the divinely guided Imams( from the progeny of prophet Muhammad) until the day of judgement are part of the Ale and by/upon their intercession and requesting more souls can be part of that Ale. The intercession of divinely guided imams and Ale could be indirectly via Prophet Mohammed but every soul will be raised with their imam and the imam may intercede via the prophet Muhammad. Surah Isra.71. “On the Day We shall call every people with their Imam (leader); then whoever is given his book in his right hand; then these will read their book (joyfully); and they will not be treated unjustly in the least.” Not an exact parallel but so to speak, it’s like the founders of a corporation adding employees at various levels and selling shares to make the people avail the profits or more or less based on a criteria. Likewise, ale Ibrahim a.s. Includes all his progenial prophets, messengers and divinely guided righteous ‘saints’ and progeny including Ishmael a.s. Any soul whom we address with alah(i/ima/a) salam is ale of either of these two prophets(Prophet Mohammed and prophet Ibrahim), if not the prior messengers of Allah. And, I believe, some if not all Ale Muhammad are together in paradise, especially the ones(ahlulbayt) that had the Thorough Purification (including lady Zainab a.s. as she was born to Thoroughly Purified {that are as a result infallible by the will of Allah} souls. I need to research more on this to confirm, but according to one hadith Prophet Muhammad already gave the good news to lady Fatima that they will meet at a place in paradise soon, prior to his death and so it happened that lady Fatima a.s. was the first among ahlulbayt to get this honor - and Allah knows the best. And Ale are divinely guided ones and some of the Ale (Lady Fatima, Imam Ali, Imam Hussain, Imam Hassan and Lady Zainab {blessings and peace of Allah be on all of them are definitely infallible by the Thorough Purification of Allah and the will of Allah swt) It’s not someone who is just religious or pious can try to be part of Ale hoping that the prophet or his Ale will intercede for him, but the need to try to gain knowledge and acknowledge the truth of Prophet Muhammad (who has endorsed the Ale) and in doing so acknowledge the Ale if they come to know of this important endorsements of Prophet Muhammad among many other things. Knowledge is lost property of a believer and gaining knowledge or trying to gain knowledge is part of religion. Note: the people who claim to be religious/good or people claiming to be imams but then promote/ask for violent ideologies and are against freedom of expression (that doesn’t harm others) are NOT divinely guided. *And Allah knows the best!

Will our Salawath be valid if we say it only for the so many ( personal) benefit in both world.

Remember, salat s for God alone, not for human being

assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh at 8:41 sh yasir says "the jinn of them, the eints of them" what are the eints? I have heard this phrase before but i don't know what it means. is it from the quran and sunnah?

I have a question; When I say Attahiyat, I stop after I say and saying nothing else after: “Ash’had’u’un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash’hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd’uhu Wa Rasooluh”. Is that correct? Because when I was younger my parents told me it was okey. Is it?
