This is one of the first covers I’ve ever sang. It has some of the best lyrics I have ever heard. Timothy just sucked all the sound from that room. It was so silent. Just his voice and that guitar and that’s all this song needed. The was THE best cover of this song I have ever heard. I couldn’t help but cry, I didn’t even want a button push so I didn’t have to hear any other sound but his voice and playing. His whole style is fire, he’s a hot guy, and he’s a story teller. What more could the audience and coaches want from anyone. He just needs an opportunity to share his music and his life. I am such a fan of him now. Wow, Timothy you really don’t know how much this hit me. You’ll probably never see this and never know. Your gift and your Annointing and your ability to reach the room and make everything stand still is truly amazing and inspiring. I’m still crying man, that was just beautiful! There are times I wish the audition was longer and there are times I’m glad its short. This is one of those times that I wish it could have been the entire song.
There is certainly no shortage of technically amazing singers in the US but I feel like they lack originality, like they all went to the same voice coaches.

I'm with Delta.. should have sung the whole song. Beautiful tone, great timing and as someone else wrote "he sucked the air out of the room".. The perfect audition.

You have at least one! Maybe not singing, dancing, acting etc but you DO have one. It could be your generous heart, your compassion, your love of animals, or just your love. Period.
Its times like this where I wish the producers didnt focus so heavy on the story. Yes everyone has one but Timothys voice is world class but unfortunately overshadowed
@@dylanmatthews1354 Understood. Do you think it adversely affected his chances? I suppose it's inevitable the show would promote it; people love a good story, and the saga of the underdog who overcomes adversity is the oldest story on all, the original "hero's journey." Good luck downplaying that!
