Toute l'actualité sur www.bfmtv.com/ The 16 may, the actress : Emma Watson (Nicki) was interviewed about her participation on Sofia Coppola's movie : The Bling Ring at le Festival de Cannes.
I like how she says "Take care" at the end of the interview. It's very rare to see celebrities say those kind of words, because most of the time, they don't give a shit about most people.
I loved the way she responded when she really didn't understand his question. She concentrated really hard then responded with, "yea it was really good."
I think it's such a shame the interviewer does not go into what Emma's saying. Especially around 6:25 when she gets into some sort of "stream of consciousness" on ABSOLUTELY nothing given by the interviewer. This just shows that Emma is so respectful and cares so much about film in general that she can basically make any interview a (somewhat) good interview. She's so passionate and kind, love her
As a French man, I can tell you that the interviewer is really incompetent. Not only the questions he asks are stupid but his accent is really bad. French people are quite hard on foreigners that don't speak French very well, so the interviewer could at least make an effort. The only logical reaction at 6:14
For all those who criticizing the interviewer, what the fuck is wrong with you? He speaks with a French accent? SO WHAT? He's French! At least, he made an effort to speak Emma's language. Btw, Emma was born in France and had been living there for 5 years, why can't she try to speak French? She's in Cannes, France.
I am French and I did not understand when she said "Les Intouchables" so I can understand him. Though, having an english accent can be very hard for some people, it is very common so I dont think it was intentional. Speaking english can be impressive for us too.
She didn't look pissed off whatsoever.. she instantly proceeded to correct herself after, and get the feel of the word. She handled it fine, how else should she have acted?
I'm french and I assure you that most french aren't like that one and that most of us just love it when people try to talk in french even when their accent isn't 100% accurate... Don't go having bad ideas on french just because of that video... Thanks ;)
Thank you for posting this. I've been to France few times and I always try to speak in French and all the time I feel that you guys try to understand, speak slow and help. I say to my friends and acquaintances that people in France are very nice to the foreigners. And I don't dare to say that I speak fluent French. I would say: Je me débrouille bien, :)
I don't think that she have to self-control, because I think Emma is respectful to every Person, including the Interviewer and takes the questions seriously. THAT is why I love her so much.
she moved when she was very young, and both her parents are English and probably spoke English at home. She knows a little but you can't expect her to know it that well, it's been quite a while, she's probably forgotten a lot.
@Carlos Rojas she isn't a little stupid, it's the journalist's fault, his questions aren't really good. I understand maybe it's a bit hard for him because obviously English isn't his first language.
she didn't once correct his english, how rude of him! she said les intouchables very well, you could totally understand her! this guy's questions are stupid anyway, bless her
I don't see why some people here think the questions she was asked are awful, I actually thought they were interesting and on-topic, and less shallow than usual. I mean, she was here to promote her movie, not her personal life.
she's soo sweet and nice. obviously she is putting on that "happy face" that im sure a lot of celebrities do when they are doing interviews or anything media related for the public. but I would love to meet her and get to know her. see the real emma watson :)
It always kills me when that happens - she could have been correcting him for the entire interview, but she didn't because it would have been rude. smh, didn't stop him tho'
