They show people to available seats, distribute any pertinent literature and actually help to keep distraction down. Just as in the movies or anywhere else, once you're seated and into what's going on, the ushers are the last thing on your mind. :)

Being dignfied all the time henders you from experiencing full mobility of praising God. When you are hyper dignified thats you controlling or suppressing what comes natural through expression.
