It's not even a joke dude. You should be hired by a company to represent Japanese to American relationships. You are easy to understand and are always friendly. Give this man more salary.
Funnily enough I did use to help the marketing team for a game company back in the day with their US side stuff because even though I was a dev over in Japan they hired a mostly Japanese team that couldn't really speak English for their US branch and those people didn't wanna do their job so I used to help coordinate them from Japan because I was the one guy in the company who watched a lot of English RU-vid so at least I kinda got to do that although not on the cool level of doing actual international relations. XD Really wish I'd gotten a chance to visit America during that period feels like I've seen quite a lotta pretty cool Americans and Canadians since starting this channel.
I managed to get into the Blue Archive collaboration cafe & Atre collaboration while I was there in my visits. Both were definitely an amazing experience while i was there (considering i was genuinely in japan by pure coincidence as i have ordered my tickets 9+ months prior to my trip). Unfortunately though its a bit confusing to get into the Atre Pop-Up-Shop (since I didnt know you needed to basically book it through Line (which i have), but didnt know it was something I didnt know I had to do) + I didnt have enough time to visit the karaoke and the trinity collabs. Luckily though I managed to get 2 sets for each character and take some photos over there. A really great experience for my first travels to Japan overall.
Glad you had a fun time travelling in Japan though 🙏especiall since it's the first time. That and godo thing that you managed to get stuff from the atre collab and the cafe too at the time. With the atre popup it really did feel like it wasn't communicated very clearly yea which is quite unfortunate... The karaoke one... it was pretty expensive and quite minimal what you could get so at least you didn't miss out too much that one. Hopefully the goods will be available for sale somewhere at some point in the future though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙌 That and it's a relief the jokes didn't fall flat XD Yea the Hina shirt is really a funny. Moment I saw that they were gonna sell it, was already ready to buy it for the funnies. Hopefully it is easy to find in the future too.
Seeing the momo talk wall thing in the store, I really hope they implement group momo talk in the game. That would really improve the character part of the game(eg similar thing in Nikke).
Oh yea, now that you mention it Nikke does do a lot of group chats... would be fun to have something like that for BA too with all the clubs. Feels like it'd be fun to just see the game dev club talking to each other too.
Being charged money to purchase Juri's cooking sounds like a war crime (all jokes aside, hopefully it tasted better than how the game describes her cooking lol) Also, is it normal to book karaoke rooms as a solo, or did you book the room just for the video? Unfortunae that you didn't get any dupes for the Hina card... Gacha luck truly is unpredictable... Thank you for the video again Mr. Salaryman!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video if anything o7 Solo karaoke used to be more common prior to the pandemic I feel. Nowadays I still sometimes do it since gathering together with others to do it is tough at times and practicing at home is a lot harder but for the BA one I booked it since I wanted to see the collab room either way though finding someone to travel all the way to Osaka with me for it was tough so I solo'ed it there. 😂 Also the Juri pancake was thankfully fine. Was mosty yam so it was a lil heavy but tasted good-ish at least. Else I'd prolly have turned into an eldritch horror and have been unable to make this video at this point.
i think you should make a video about every kind of event that held in Japan. Majority of the people don't know how many events held in Japan aside from Comiket and anime fest.
I will try my best to. 🙇 I've covered quite a few doujin events till now too but there's so many all across Japan it'll take a while for me to cover them all. That said I plan to cover as many as I can so I hope you enjoy those videos too!
@@overworkedsalaryman Thanks actually i was one of those who only knew Comiket and anime fest but after watching your videos i realised that there are so many events that i was never aware of such as comitia, summer comics, touhou event etc. I also got to know other countries such as taiwan and thailand also held their events too such as fancy frontier and mq etc.
@@theamazingfan8889 Would really love to visit the events in other countries some day too just to see how different they are. Feels like at the very the queuing culture shouldn't be as bad hopefully. XD Though yea there are many events in Japan that going for all of them feels like it'd take me a long time. Though I hope you get to experience some of them too while you're in Japan.
Osaka gets quite a lot of stuff too so you're in luck that you got it still. Either way if the event is big enough a trip over to Tokyo prolly should be quite doable for a weekend trip too it feels like. Hope the study period in Osaka is interesting though and that you get to see all sorts of cool stuff.
Hopefully there'll be a chance in the future since it seems like they've been doing it yearly so far. 🙏 The interior really does look pretty nice though. Feels like animate does at least put some effort into that. Really wonder if they'll eventually do one with the bar over in Shibuya though as that place really went all out with the onimai and monhun collab before.
Yea it doesn't help that most of these collabs feel like they get announced so suddenly that it makes it hard for people overseas to plan around it. Even the Kyoto one if not for the fact that travelling within Japan isn't too expensive I feel like I would've given up going. Hopefully they do announcements further in advance in the future so people who wanna come for it from overseas can plan around it too
@@overworkedsalaryman For sure, I saw that BA is appearing at Anime Expo in Los Angeles but it's too short notice to plan a trip for it (unless it's been known prior), especially since I'm in Europe. Would be nice to have some EU events but that's frankly a bit of a longshot.
@@ltzarz9490 oof yea Europe to America sounds like a long trip too. Would be cool if events would just announce such things earlier since with America I'd imagine that quite a lot of planning needs to be done just to get there too
Here's hoping it isn't actually just a dream and I don't wake up in another world suddenly like that one Isekai Ojisan. But yea I'm grateful to get to live this life so I try to let others see what stuff is like here too as there do be a lot of interesting stuff that doesn't get covered. 🙇
Man if I had a dollar for everytime a close up of Yuzu's feet showed up in this video, I would have $2. Which is kinda weird that it happened twice. Anyways, thanks for another cool ba video, King 🫡
