I think that role suits the M550i perfectly. I think the M5 should be a bit on the crazy side, it should be just as exciting to drive as the other M cars

CARtuned! Perhaps it should be more, but I'd be satisfied with what it is. Probably in 2 wheel drive on the track it is quite wild I'd guess. Maybe the M6 is filling the gap that the M5 doesn't fill.. Oh well, they way too expensive for me anyway but one can always dream :-)

You totally misunderstood this review. I even said it in the video: objectively this car is awesome, but it's not for me. I don't know why you would classify that as a negative comment. Furthermore I did not compare it to the M2. I just said that it doesn't have the thrills of driving that it's smaller siblings have on public roads. And if you want to fully enjoy this car you have to take it to a track and let loose there. Also the ride in the M5 I drove is pretty much the same as the one in my M2, harsh. Unfortunately. P.s. I don't think the M5 is a luxurious family sedan, that's the regular 5 Series. The M5 is so much more than that.

Is this car boring because of the exhaust sound? Or still great?

Kerun Bindra hi, mine doesn’t have the sports exhaust unfortunately so most of the engine/ exhaust noise is synthetic. I still have a button to turn that off. It really doesn’t matter to me as the rest of the car is overwhelmingly good, believe the reviews. An E63s might be better if you’re really into the noise thing.

@@bungle5785 I have never owned a bmw in my life and iv had numerous cars from supra,skylines,c63 and most recently a RS7. Alot of the reviews surrounding the m5 f90 compared it to a audi if the m5 drives like a RS7 or rs6 I think that's a keeper for me as I am leaning towards getting my first bmw.

The M5 or a Radical?

The M5. It doesn't like the potholes and speed bumps in Stockholm. The Radical would be just fine :))

the radical is not even a car compared to this, just a shell with 4 wheels and a steering wheel

@@TunedIntoCars M5 without all the unnecessary addons, different tire set up with a bit more sidewall and just being aware of the roads you're on is the way to go. Wait 4-5 years and these cars will be down to the price of a new 3 series if not lower... yeah people complain about "reliability" but those people mostly don't know what they're talking about, just hearsay from the internet and what their mate Dave told them lol. The new cars are hellish reliable as long as you regularly maintain them, it's a highly strung sports car, not a land cruiser lol.

I've only driven a competition for roughly 30mins. I didn't really notice the extra power for I definitely felt the stiffer suspension. So I don't think it gives too much in exchange of the extra cash.

Too bad you didn't watch the video. I didn't say the M2 is better. I said I prefer the M2 for the reasons I mentioned in the video. And yes, me and my family bought an M2. It is enough and lots of fun to drive. If I wanted a car to carry lots of people in confort I would buy a van, certainly not a 150.000 euro M5 :D

I couldn't be more aligned. Struggled between this and the e63s and ordered this because it wasn't as loud and in your face yet had amazing performance. This will be my daily driver and I need a little subtlety, nothing out there can offer this balance and meet my needs.

Tuned Into Cars! I went from an F10 M5 to Giulia Quadrifoglio, manual, and it is perfect! As fast but with driver involvement, and very comfortable long distance driver.

It doesn’t seem like your enjoying any of my videos. Why do you put yourself through the pain of watching them? What I say in my videos are my own oppinions. They are not facts or anything. After driving both the f10 and f90 i don’t think any of them are that special.

If you are saying that your videos are "merely" your opinion and wish to leave it at that then you are doing your viewers a great disrespect. A review ought to be based on carefully researched insights into the vehicles and as the above comment indicates and which you dismiss, you get the f10 M5 completely wrong in your evaluation. You need to do better thatn that

You are twisting my words here. I put a lot of time and effort into every video I make to make sure that the facts and figures I present are 100% accurate. But beside presenting the facts and figures about a car, I also give my thoughts and opinions on it as I'm driving. That's the whole point of a car review. Regarding the F10 M5 objectively it's better that all of its predecessors by miles. But I personally don't think it's special. Simple as that. Same goes for the F90 here in this video. And whether or not a car is special comes down to how it makes you feel. The individual that's driving it. There's no scale to that. You can't measure the 'specialness' level of a car.

"I just dont think its special" is your verdict of both the f10 m5 as well as the f90 m5. Fair enough. But in comparison to what car experience are you making such an evalautive statement? To other cars the f10 and f90 m5s ought to experientially and rationally be compared with can only be a handful, the rs6, the amg E63 s come to mind (when compared to these the m5 often wins in reviews); some mindless reviewer said that because the m5 does not perform as well as vehicles such as the nissan gtr so it isnt any good, but this is a false comparison, the m5 is a GT supercar not a porsche like sports car and its "driving experience" ought to be evaluated by the reviewer in terms of what the vehicle actually is and does as well as the niche the vehicle fills, the review ought not to constantly compare the feel of the vehicle to some arbitrarily set high standard of wow factor set in the reviewer's mind by another unrelated vehicle which the reviewer has experienced in the past

@@fizywig one correction f90 generally performs better than gtr apart from nismo n-attack package (like 2 or 3x price of the m5). ;D
