OMG, I saw this, and just cut my thick, very wavy hair. I screamed, haha. Love it!! I cut it dry and have yet to wash it and add some product but I can tell it's cut well, I love the layers and the shorter back, the way it all falls around the face to those longer points right at the front. THANK YOU PAUL WATTS. Edit: I'm 63.

@@nancyICUnurseexactly the same here in the uk. Can't find anything less than £55 which is about $75 and that's for a junior stylist, bottom level, at a salon that you've never heard of. It's crazy especially when I only want a straight across cut that literal takes 2 minute to do 😡 there is no option to come on with wet/washed hair, you have to have it washed and blow dried, so it's just frustrating as hell because the actual cut is so quick but I don't need the other services

There is just something about Mr Watts, be it very thorough with what, where, how and why is explained, that you can't help but find him a very trustworthy professional stylist. I was concerned with the layering cut at the back, especially with very straight fine hair, but I proceeded with this cut by myself. I followed his direction as close as I could be able to. After all that was done, I was astounded how it turned out. I have wavy curl hair, lol. I must of done something wrong there, but that's okay, curls are good! The layering were blended to give my bob hair fullness. Being that I am 60 years old, you'd have to see the before picture. This new style cut made me much, much, much younger. Thank you sir!!!

I just did this and I absolutely love it. I went to the hairdresser here in Ireland in September last year to get this cut and even I described exactly what I wanted she want even close to cutting it as I wanted it to be. It was the first cut since moving to Ireland and so far my only one here. I paid €65 for it. In November I went back to Spain, where I previously lived, to visit my son and I went to my hairdresser there and he tidied it up. I was in desperate need of a cut now, but don't want to spend money to not get what I want and ask for so I have this a go and I'm in love. I'll be coming back to this again, I'm sure. Perfect. Thank you! The only hard part was to do the fringe section. 🥰🙏

My hairstylist never sections my long hair… I have great hair naturally wavy if I chose … I’ve never had a great cut… I say I want something to bring out my cheekbones… nothing… you are very talented! Well done!

This works great with curls, just leave it longer otherwise its very short. You can use a banana clip to cut it, but ...never...above the rounding at the back...always below or at the rounding point.The wolf or one cut works great with curls to.

If you have thin hair layers can give you some volume, sure, but I’ve found that the bottom layers and even the curtain bangs will look much sparser then you might want! Blunt cuts are my go-to if I want my thin hair to look thicker overall, but you might sacrifice some volume at the roots. Hope that helps ♡

OMGSH!! I followed every step! And I have several looks in one! I had to adjust position of ponytails slightly due my very small skull! But I’ve got lots of movement in my fine hair which helps! Suzi Q is back! I have height on the crown and length still! Wow wow! Subscribed 🎉

Years ago,It took me ages to grow my hair for a bob,I have very thick hair,the bob was all one length,I also have waves that do their own thing,I looked hideous.I went back to short and spikey at first trim appointment lol. Now I’ve seen this style …I want it,it’s awesome (tho I may still look hideous with tin🙈😂)

I have super thick hair too and one length cuts look horrible! You need layering and/or texture and a lot of weight removed for it to move and look right instead of it being a blob.

I was thinking about doing it too, but my sons reminded me of how I butchered their hair the one time I cut theirs (its been 16 years, you'd think they'd be over it by now). One question before I make my appointment with my hairdresser....does it work on fine hair? My hair is diametrically fine but I have a lot of it!. This was my first visit! @paul watts hair I love this cut but I’m what stylists refer to as a Chewbacca. I have a massive amount of thick Indian hair and now it’s gray which makes it even more difficult to cut well. I wish I had the type of hair for this cut. I laughed at the mannequin’s tiny sized pony tails. Mine would be 5 times as thick. But I love seeing your work. It’s fantastic.

love it gorgeous, but from lack of precise closeups where you were going with each ponytail I personally would never be able to reproduce this process with any certainty. Can you be sure to show closer more exact instructions, assuming this is for those who want to do this on themselves. I don't know how to handle the angles initially, or how to relate them to each other, too vague.

This cut is very cute but also easily achievable when you have super thin hair like the mannequin. Especially Parting the hair like you did. Trying it on super thick hair (like mine) would be nice to see how it turns out.
