Also she was technically still with Eddie when she started dating. Eddie brought Bobby on the Harlem Nights set to ask him if it was true that they were dating. He also called Whitney on her wedding day to stop her from marrying Bobby. Even though he never took her serious prior to her getting with Bobby

The reason why Ralph was mad was due to the label stopping him from going solo initially so he can do the Heartbreak album. But he found out that they did that to give Bobby room for the Don’t Be Cruel album which was similar to Ralph’s scrapped Livin In The Dream album. That pissed him off since they basically put him on the shelf just so Bobby can take his place in the solo spot. When Ralph & Bobby were having that conversation, Ralph had already completed Livin In The Dream, Don’t Be Cruel didn’t even have one song recorded so he felt like RCA stepped on his toes in favor of Bobby.

Let me fill you in bro. Robyn (the girl that was Whitney at the awards) was Whitney’s best friend/Ex girlfriend, the reason why the man on the plane said “I’m sorry” was because Whitney had a miscarriage. She also had like 5 miscarriages later in their relationship.

I know I’m late, and idk if anyone answered this, but….if you remember the Jackson’s movie, Michael had all those wild animals but was ALWAYS on the road, so it was up to Janet to feed the animals when he was gone. The key was to the cages so she wouldn’t lose it.

By the way the Alicia character is Bobby’s current wife. Ooouuu ever since they went public, Whitney fans shitted on her. Granted I think Alicia may be a tad insecure. I found it odd though because they wanted Whitney to leave Bobby, but when he moved on people hated that he found someone else.

17:10 Ralph and Bobby were very close. It is said Ralph didn't actually vote him out but followed the majority of the group. It is also said there are some of Ralph's vocals on some of Bobby songs at that time but both never clarified it.

The timeline isn't off from the new edition story. The part you were talking about how Ralph was there for Bobby before the making of the prerogative album was true. When they went on tour together was after the album was out and by then it was some tension going on. I'm sure he put this in the movie to show they were always still friends after the breakup

@@JustCallmeMJcorrect. There wasn't really any beef with them. I read Bobby's book a while back. In his words the management (they had 2 or 3 instead of just one like the movie) were playing both sides. Tellin the group they should vote him out and tellin Bobby he should be solo. Bobby's blowups just made it easy, but they were all still pretty cool the whole time. There's even some unconfirmed rumors Ralph covered some of Bobby's vocals for the Don't Be Cruel album so they could finish it on time
