I definitely would be interested in seeing how the Bobcat get's cleaned up. As far as the brush pile goes, I would probably burn some of it, but I would also wood chip some of it as well. Burning that much brush would have me a little worried about it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Good thing it was an easy fix!

Personally, when I have a big (huge) brush pile I start a fire next next to the pile, then use my skid steer with a grapple to feed material from the huge pile into the fire. While it’s satisfying to pick up large trees with the backhoe / skid steer and put them into the pile, I find them more difficult when it comes to burning. I now cut stuff into 8-10’ lengths, makes it more manageable to burn. By using a smaller burn pile it’s more controllable and I can quit when tired. Not sure I would sweat the grapple closing fast, mine is pretty quick as well. BTW, I approach a bunch of brush with the lower part of the grapple parallel to & scraping the ground, then roll it forward as I push into the brush, finally closing when the opening is parallel to the ground. I can pick up more material and dribble less scrap when moving. I purchased a Takeuchi skid steer due to the overhead door, can’t get trapped inside.

What i have done is let fire department know what, where and when you are burning. Burn after a rain with little to no wind. Chk forcast for no wind or just a gentle breeze. Have water ready & available. Start two separate small piles and add to as you can. Then cut up large pieces for firewood. Stay safe, wise and successful. ☝️🙏🙌💪

You need a power washer for all your appliances. 👍

You need to be careful about cleaning your machine frequently when using the mulcher. Easy to get debris where you don’t want it, like around the exhaust. See a lot of burned up machines from that. A pressure washer is great for getting greasy dirt off the machine, just be careful around the electronics & connectors.
