The body lives in the now and therefore desires immediate gratification; whereas the soul lives in the past, future and the present, thus demanding depth. What is the resolution to this clash between body and soul?

This was really touching. Reminding you to connect to the goodness in yourself; to forgive yourself for your mistakes and learn from them. I will watch this again.

Nice as it insightful. I never thought about how attributes that one likes in someone else is actually the soul. The speaker speaks with eloquence, confidence, humor, intelligence and comes across as a genuinely nice woman.

Well , the answer is not to maim or mutilate the body, make incisions, do surgeries, take hormones and steroids and such. The body is perfect the way it is given by nature :)

Jews rarely talk about forgiveness.. I had hoped to hear that here but again no mention of forgiveness... The Jewish faith was set apart from others because they could get forgiveness from God by sacrifice and offering.. God demanded it for atonement... Christians Have God die for atonement so it is a serious thing .

Sorry, but you are wrong. The sacrifices in the temple ONLY atoned for the sins that we did not know we had committed. The only way to get atonement for sins we are aware of is to repent. That is done by admitting that we sinned (even if just to ourselves), making amends for the wrong that we did (replacing a stolen item, righting the wrong), asking the victim of our actions to forgive us, and making a commitment not to repeat the wrong act. Sacrificing an animal can NEVER get atonement in place of repentance. That is why Judaism did not disappear when the Temple was destroyed. Repentance is not easy when done correctly, but it is open to everyone.

@@lizzyjeanne I get what your saying .without getting into details...Rabbi Yohannan ben Zakkai was the one who gave that law as he watched the Temple ashes blow over the land... God killed every single Priest as their sacrifice was no longer acceptable, as they tried daily to cheat God, They turned the Temple into a den of Thieves, cheating the people offering lame animals.. well you know etc. I'm sure you know there where a few sects within Judaism.. The Essenes where a group of Monastic Jews who lived in the desert, John the Baptist was one of them. He said look Here is the Lamb of God who Takes away the sins of the world, and his disciples left him and from that day on followed Jesus and he made them mighty men, who could raise the dead and heal the sick in the name of Jesus .. The New Adam... he is the only acceptable sacrifice now.. his blood is atonement, his laws are just and he is a High Priest for all time in the order of Melchizedek. These Jews became the Catholic Church and their story is far more epic than the Fathers of the Jews.. They had authority from God to go out and preach to the whole world..... The Rabbis Killed them and that is why to this day God has not forgiven the Jews.. not until they recognise Jesus.. who is the only acceptable sacrifice... So it's a good thing to ask for forgiveness but i would ask how do you know your getting it? The Jews before the covenant ended offered sacrifice for sin... that no longer happens.. unless your a Catholic then that sacrifice is offered every day in the Holy Mass... Behold the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world... happy are we who are called to the supper of the lamb.... God Bless.

I THINK SHE WAS REFERRING TO THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY WHEN CONSTANTINE ORDER THE COUNCIL TO PUT ALL THE BOOKS THEY LIKED, AND THEY LEFT PLENTY OUT, INTO ONE AKA THE CURRENT BIBLE, AND THAT WAS DONE BY CATHOLIC MONKS AND SCRIBES 100% SO TECHNICALLY SHE'S RIGHT. NOW GO EMBRACE YOUR NEWLY FOUND CATHOLICISM. LOL

The religion of Christianity are the scriptures and not Catholicism . Catholicism came hundreds of years later. Scriptures are the religion of Christianity . Catholics are not biblical Christians.

You’ve got THAT Wrong 😑 Catholicism came FIRST then the Church ⛪️ who had PROTESTED, under Martin Luther, created PROTESTANTISM (PROTESTING daughters of the MOTHER church ‼️). Go, learn the History of your church before spouting off your ERROR ⚠️ 🙄 ⚠️ 🙄
