I grandmother watched this show with full volume on so that everyone in the building could hear, with big glasses on, sitting on a chair very close to the TV. She was emotional when she watched TV & had strong conservative opinions...
Was there a wedding or special event on B&B at the time? This is an extremely rare opening, which I can only presume was used for a significant episode.
@@danielsamuels5857 Thanks. I've seen both versions, but I really wanted to see one from when they updated/extended the music to 42 seconds in 1995. I know that circa 1996, there were subtle changes to the opening and closing credits music. I'm no expert in music to say exactly what the nature of the change was, but I can hear slight differences in the arrangement.
Greg Palmer The jazzy 5-second opening is the only difference. There were 2 'romantic opening credits' and these weren't used very often. They were most often used following a lead-in from a romantic scene.
The first 5 seconds of the opening varied from time to time. There were 4 versions, including this saxophone riff at the start. This particular saxophone riff was rarely used. The opening credits changed slightly in 1995 where it was now 42 seconds instead of 35 seconds.
