The sound is heavily related to first shooter sports thematic, with Kendrick himself with a superbowl, most his songs always have a sounwave touch and when he wilds with him in untitled's you can see the heavy bass thematic, if you weren't expecting it id say you are just not familiarazed with his sound.

The thing that happened is some information leaked about Kendrick Lamar’s diss and Drake drop Taylor made after hearing some of the information about Kendrick Deas. Drake was already full of weird that this song was made he dropped Taylor made to control the narrative
As a fan of both i like both songs but i like push ups more. Push ups addresses kendrick's like that verse but then he made a bunchbof height jokes but i like the responses to everyone else. Kendrick basically just said everything that everyone else already said tbh.
