I'd honestly be a little upset if Cad Bane is still alive. That was the perfect way for him to go out in my opinion. They wanted to definitively canonize his death, and him dying to Boba, Cad Bane representing everything Boba used to be and is trying not to be anymore, and killing him with the weapon he got and learned to use from his tribe, after Cad Bane saying having anyone else is weakness. I don't think they'll ever be a better death for Cad Bane. I don't think he needs to live forever, I'm not sure why people seem to think so. The last time we saw him before this was Bad Batch. There's almost 28 years between Bad Batch and this show, that's 28 years of time they have where they could make content using live action Cad Bane, so him dying in this doesn't mean we'll never see him again either.

I love Cad Bane and wish they'd used him more, but I like that Boba was the one to take him out. The old gunfighter dying to the "kid".

I feel like I'm watching Titanic when i see Grogu and Mando reunite, Celine Dion gonna sing her famous song any minute now..

Father-son reunion everybody got emotional over while in a chaotic situation.

I love how Bane being stabbed to death by a lifelong rival after a gun fight with a weapon that represents Boba choosing a none selfish path is is considered “weak” by every one. It’s like Darth Mauls death when you have two deadly foes face one another in a final duel (of the fates) the outcome is death. It was a poetic and worthy death what more do we need?

I want an action figure set of Krrsantan and a bunch of Trandoshan body parts.

There are definitely no guardrails in the Star Wars universe 😂. Such a conflict between Grogu being cute and eating gross stuff.

Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard

Toto is played by Seth Green in the animated series Solid 8.5 out of 10 for the whole series..It definitely had the best episode out of the whole live action Star Wars Last week was

Idk why people are upset at Cad bane dying in a universe that A. People are being resurrected, and B. Jumps back and forth in time constantly. For all we know he could show up in Kenobi.

Whether Cad Bane is currently dead or not, there’s plenty of years/decades prior to now for Cad to show up as a younger Cad. And we could always have Fennec memories of Cad too. 😏

Cad Bane is not dead if you listen carefully when they show him laying on the ground you can hear his heart monitor beeping TODO 360 will come to his aid.

Everyone is freaking out because we know when Cad Bane dies. This is one of the very few Star Wars that takes place after Return of The Jedi. Almost everything coming out is before this. Obi Wan Kenobi died in the very first movie and Darth Vader died 39 years ago. We are STILL obsessing over both of them. 😂

I said before but I think that some of the story was cut out because they only had 7 eps out of the usual 8 to 10 that many similar shows have due to Covid filming restrictions. And they chose to have various key moments so I think it feels a little rushed in places because of that

Cad is definitely not dead. At leasts thats what it seems like, he might've had some artificial upgrades to keep him alive when Boba stabbed him. I hope we see more of him in the future

Cad Bane's live action death in "The Book of Boba Fett" won't be the end of Cad Bane. There is at least a 40yr span of stories they can tell that involve Cad from the Prequels up until this finale. Boba had to kill Cad Bane to show his transition come full circle. The two have always been one in the same, both were ruthless/ tactful bounty hunters. I'm cool with Cad Bane dying at Boba's hands. Keep in mind he could always end up in "Obi-Wan" maybe even "Asoka"

Cad is NOT dead. he had a beacon on his shirt sending a signal to something to come help him. I mean, lets be real. This is Star Wars... People have survived WAY WORSE than a stab to the chest... ahem.. palpatine... ahem... Maul...

Weak?! It's the classic western trope; the gunfight in the street. The bad guy dies at the end. Bane is 71. He's had a long run in Star Wars.

I'm honestly kinda conflicted about Mando and grogu reuniting in the end. i love them together, it was grogu's choice to leave Luke, and the bond he and mando share can't be denied, but it also kinda feels like it retconned The Mandalorian a bit and even the season 2 finale buildup to Luke coming in the save the day and taking grogu in to be his apprentice (which is still my favorite star wars moment in recent memory). i guess i'm criticizing the writing and direction of this more than anything. I wonder if anyone else feels the same?

Disney confirmed no season 2 of Boba. It was a 1 season show. A shame, but they did wrap up Boba's story in the show. Hoping Banes droid comes to his aid. Cad fought off two Jedi with lightsabers in close quarters yet lost to a pointy stick? BS. Cad's not really a villain, he's a bounty hunter, he works for whoever pays him the most. Also where was Cad's rocket boots? An air battle would have been sick.

I just wish bane had of took out fennec before he died , or they had an interaction atleast . I wanted him to get revenge , maybe in bad batch s2 … I hope bane talked to ahsoka at some point again , I want them to talk bout the past as they were a big part of each other’s life

Don´t say "clutch" because of course don´t, oooobviously!

It was a good ep, jaw dropping moments every 5 mins with a lot of cool stuff happening, but it could have been better than it was. This show could have benefitted from two more episodes before the finale that concentrated on Boba and the details before the actual war with the Pykes. Maybe one episode in the aftermath of Bane visiting Freetown, for example a scene where there's a townhall and they all vote NOT to go - i.e. making the payoff of them showing up all that much more of an emotional moment. Things that keep raising and raising the tension. That's just an example of my point -- there was a lot of payoff, but not supported by a lot of set up**. Going to the finale straight from the two Mando episodes felt a bit abrupt. In these stories there's always these 'planning and intelligence gathering' episodes, divvying out jobs...etc before the end. There wasn't enough of a buildup that led to the fight, and thus, while the fight itself was visually spectacular, it lacked that emotional component that would make for a deeper connection to the audience. Even the Cad Bane thing, many didn't watch Clone Wars, so as far as they knew, this show introduced a really cool blue bad guy...then just killed him off (they dont know about his beacon that sends a signal to his mom to pick him up or something)..., but not much emotional connection and investment to the Boba vs Cad Bane storyline. Really I dont know why they didn't add an ep before the finale to really build the fight up, set up and hint to a lot of the things that might happen, ending with a juicy cliffhanger of "alright, they're here, you all know what to do", it's not like Disney didn't have the money. I did still love this episode, especially the Grogu scenes. I just think that with the writers and directors being the literal best in the business, there's no reason they couldnt have made it the best possible

I think Boba's story may continue on in Mando season 3 or even perhaps in the Ahsoka series? Either way, I do not think all will be well and left alone in peace on Tatooine. I did find that small piece of dialogue between that mod girl and Fennec odd as if it was a hint of something more to come when she thanked Fennec and Fennec appreciated it. Seemed a bit odd to include all that. I agree about unlocking Grogue's mind. I think Luke just unlocked all the training Grogu already had in the past. I see that similar to how Kylo may have inadvertently unlocked dormant stuff from Rey's mind when he interrogated her in TFA. I actually wonder if what happened with Grogu may force Luke now to rethink his whole Jedi academy approach and the way he teaches. This may...may...be just the first step that ultimately leads Luke to do more research and realize the Jedi ways were flawed and lead him ultimately to the opinions he shared with Rey about the Jedi in The Last Jedi. For example, I always thought the whole no attachments things was flawed and the Jedi were way too black and white about that. So, with the mayor dead, I wonder who will rise in his stead to be the new mayor or if it will just fall under Boba. I wish Bane had his boot rockets on so he could then push himself away at the last second. I do not think Bane is dead. We heart something still ticking on him afterward, which I would guess is some sort of life support system or his heart? For all we know, Boba stabbed him in a non-lethal area. I wish Bane had mentioned Fennec by name when he first saw her. I think it would've been cool if Bane did mention he could give Boba a another dent to match the other one. LOL...how many people do you think will start shipping that lady mechanic and the mayor's assistant? I would have loved to have seen a mob of Jawas running into fight against the Pykes. I think this was just a preliminary war and we will see more fighting yet to come, either by more Pykes or by who may be allied with the Pykes and even may have supplied them with those Droidekas. Once the spice trade dries up on Tatooine, the Hutts may also come back for vengeance or even Crimson Dawn.

She mentioned something really interesting it's quite the opposite actually cad banes species is a duros and they actually age alot faster cad bane actually mentored boba after his father died which cad bane was trained by Jango fett so it would make sense that he would be the one to mentor him. During the clone wars cad bane was about 20 but to his species he would be around his 40s in this he is around his 70s and that's really old for a duros they are considered to be elderly in there 60s they are lucky if they even make it to they're 60s so he's quite literally like a 100 year old man walking around but despite that he has alot left in him. I don't think Cad Bane is dead either.

People need to chill about Cad Bane being killed. Obi Wan died in the very first Star Wars movie decades ago and after three movies and dozens of Clone Wars episodes he even got his own show. Storytellers can also bring Cad Bane back into live action anytime. There are plenty years to cover between Clone Wars and his ending. I’m glad Boba killed him and I’m glad these hateful Star Wars fans aren’t involved in storytelling.
