Two criticisms: Fisrt, there were not Gods, plural, there is only one God. Second, the bible shows that the earth is less than 8,000 years old, so there were not manuscripts dated 9,500 years before Christ. Can hardly wait to see the comments on this one.
Yes, liberal scholars take advantage of the Hebrew word "elohim" which can mean God or gods. However, read in context, it means One God. God told Moses His name so that the people would understand better there is one Creator and not many. One needs to be wary when reading what is not Canon. Yes, Peter and Jude quoted from it, but only the parts God would have allowed them to write. I believe Enoch had some truth mixed in with myth.
Also, don't be misled by old dates. God created the world over 6000 years ago if we take Genesis 1 through 11 seriously and I do! Genesis 6 mentions the "sons of God" and daughters of men. These woman gave birth to Nephilim which means giant according to my Hebrew professor. Peter mentioned some angels chained in Tartarus a Greek word for hell.

According to that, next year will be the start of the last Jubilee of human history. I have done a lot of research on my own in regard to the prospect of a "young Earth". be well.
There is no Book of Enoch, there is only 66 Books specifically in the Word of God, anything more is added on where we have been given specific instructions not to add or take away anytime from the Word of God, (Revelation 22: 18 - 19) "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."
@ok-sh9ew The Word of God, which was written by people who were led by Him through His Holy Spirit and honored Our Father in Heaven, not false idols, nor materialism or things of this world, I can't make anyone or others to believe the things that are within the Bible, I can only share my beliefs and hope that more people will maybe open up there minds, hearts and ears to listen to hear that Jesus Christ is risen! He is seated at the right hand of God Our Father, who is in Heaven, waiting to receive those who haven't come to repentance of their sins and turn to Him that they may live forever in Paradise instead of being eternally separated from God.
It's not in the Bible because if you do a comprehensive study of the two, you'll find the book of Enoch outright contradicts some of what the Bible says. Good scholars have said it's good to know for certain reasons, but it's not inspired by God.
I'm not trying to start anything but I have to make observations that has haunted my sleep for 55 years. The Bible is OUR Lords words but unfortunately MAN Corrupted it at the council OF NICIA. The new Testament have several books that again man corrupted. Books that Daniel, Peter, and that one dude. My point is Those books were written 100 years after the death of Jesus FOLLOWERS. JUDAS wrote his parables after he hung himself. My point is the Bible is a guide for Humanity so we don't keep killing the other parties because they have more water and food.

The Book of Enoch has been part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Cannon since its founding before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Surprised that bit wasn't mentioned.
Reading all these comments takes me back to my colleges years of old testament survey were one of the topics was " the Nephilem (Sons of God) with daughters of men" and who the Nephilem were and who the dauhgters of men were... my study showed me that the Nephilem were godly men of great renowned "stature" they were like giants in the land who had great reputation with God and For God who were intermingling with ungodly women in the Land committing ungodly sins and having children from ungodly affairs thus bringing an unquestionably amount of reproach to God's name and judgment ...Ill tell you what when the Bible says God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth makes it clear why there was a flood God got tired of it....but also think about the Story of David and Goliath the Philistine which took place after the flood if we are calling Nephilems a creation of fallen angelic beings and humans whos distinct feature was that of being a "Giant" would we then say Goliath is a Nephilem one created from an angle and human? Would God allow such a thing after enacting a catastrophic flood...also think about it angles were created they don't have the reproductive organs and such as man does so then how can they then take unto themselves these women and have ungodly affairs with them or reproduce?
Keep in mind, This book was NOT written by Enoch. I believe it ws 50 or so more years after God took Enoch when that book was written. So the words inside it are not led by the spirit. Which is why God did not include them in the Bible. Now that's not to say that we should dismiss everything in it, but just take it with a grain of salt.

Although there is a "Book of Enoch", remember this is not TaNAk Canon or Christian Canon of Old Testament. A few early Christians, Peter and Jude quoted from this pseudoapographa. This was not written by Enoch, who lived before the flood. We know little about him other than God taking him to heaven, like He did Elijah. God allowed Peter and Jude to quote what is true. Also, as a young earth Creationist I believe the earth created around 6000 years ago. The earth's age is debated in Church, but if we believe in Jesus as Savior we know there had to be a real Adam and Eve who sinned and made it necessary for Jesus to come. Take Genesis serious, people. Its narrative and not poetry.

Interesting video thanks. The book of Enoch is strange in some of what it says but scripture has things that are unusual in it as well - Talking donkey - Numbers ch 22v21-39. Walls of Jericho go straight down leaving only one house standing - Joshua ch 6. Widow’s oil does not run out until she has enough to pay off her debts - 2 Kings ch 4v1-7. Floating axe head - 2 Kings ch 6v1-7. 2 Kings ch 6v8-33 + ch 7 - armies of God. Satan’s best weapon is to make people believe he doesn’t exist. Enoch is still human and will be one of the two people to return with Elijah being the other - Malachi ch 4v5 + Hebrews ch 9v27. Enoch is not an angel. People have a choice they believe scripture or they don’t. The Living God has been at war with Satan since Satan decided he wanted to be boss - Isaiah ch 14v13-15. Satan when he realised he wasn’t overthrowing the Living God he decided to corrupt in any way he could everything that God had created. When it came to working out which books were put in the Bible it could be down to two things. One - if they included them all you would need a wheelbarrow to carry it. Two - Satan tried to keep hidden what him and those fallen angels who rebelled against the Living God did - personally that would be where I would stand on the matter. The Living God hid in plain sight these things as you have mentioned in regard to giants. When Enoch and Elijah turn up for those who wish to hear them people will be quite shocked to find out our true history - Revelation ch 11. I have read Enoch (Charles version), Jasher, Jubilees plus the books in the 1611 KJV Bible. Although there are things that seem strange at times I have no issue with them. I am not an expert in any way but they show the Living God’s Ways and Thinking. People may disagree with me and that is fine - we can agree to differ. Listen to the two witnesses and the three Holy angels to come as they will respectively explain all you need to know including - preach the gospel, tell us who Babylon of our time is, warn us about the mark of the beast and the consequences if you take it - Revelation ch 11+14v6-12+13+17v8. John ch 14v1-6. KJV Bible online used. You can look the references up if you wish. Rapture - 1 Corinthians ch 15v52 + Revelation ch 10v7 - last trumpet + mystery of God - no date is given but where it fits in the sequence of events is - two thirds into the Tribulation.
Enoch only the first book has been recognized. Not the remanning ones. What is most important is to focus on the gospel of Jesus and to study the conical books for knowledge and inspiration.
This book is not accepted in the Canon because it didn't come from God. So if it didn't come from God and we know Enoch didn't write it, then who gave man this information. Also, when you explore the entire writings of this so-called Enoch, you'll notice the worship of angels. So much of this book doesn't align with the other books of the Bible. Also, just because Enoch is mentioned in the New Testament, never did you hear christ quote anything from his writings.
Ok then Explain the Angels and Demons (Fallen Angels) and the Giants it talks about, Goliath was a giant and there are plenty of Scriptures to back up the book of Enoch

The entire Bible talks about angels, demons, satan, hell, and apocalyptic events, so the book of Enoch is not talking nothing, out of the ordinary to have been left out.
Fellow viewers, try to remember where this Book was found. It was found within the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Essene were a very strict sect of Jewish believers, who kept the scrolls. So do your own research about them, before you pass judgement on the contents of the writing.

Whether the book of Enoch is true or divinely inspired is irrelevant when the canonical KJV Bible and manuscripts are literally being blasphemously changed today! Luke 17:34 did not always say 'two men in one bed' nor was there a wolf dwelling with a lamb (Isaiah 11:6)
The kJV hasn’t changed at least in the verses you gave it’s the same as the 1611. This passage in Isaiah seems to be talking about after Christ judges the world, so I don’t see a problem with the wolf dwelling with the lamb as it’s talking about literal animals in the surrounding context as well with predators dwelling with what would normally be their pray. Leopard with a kid, a calf with a lion. Saying lions shall eat straw like a ox. Talking about life after judgment and a return to paradise. Regarding 2 men in one bed it’s not condoning sodomy in any way, it’s just telling us rather 2 people will be lying in a bed, back then the men shared their bed, and the woman would share theirs in a different room. It doesn’t imply anything sexual. Although in this context the gender of the people in the bed was not the main focus rather the fact that one is taken and one left.
The bible doesn't ban the book of enoch. Its people's own opinion that ban it. Enoch is spoken of in the bible. There is no substitute for the bible. The bible is for our own good so that we come to know and understand who God is and what God had done and can do. Furthermore, choosing to read the book of enoch, or the book of jubilee or the book of esdra or the book of the maccabees or ecclesiasticus or any other book that is part of the apocrypha does not take away anything from the the word of God, if anything it strengthens it, because scripture will always back scripture. Choosing to read more about God and the other things that HE has done is absolutely ok. God is so much bigger than what we actually know.
