Yes, it does have some angelic practice described.

The three books of Solomon is a compilation that gathers (rather poor) translations of the Lemegeton (aka "lesser key of Solomon"), the So called Greater Key of Solomon (a book on planetary talismans), and the rather older "testament of Solomon". I think Testament is the only one of the three that I haven't reviewed in a better edition as a standalone book. However the thing that will have freaked people out will likely be the "ars Goetia" section of the Lemegeton. I mean, it's powerful and volatile stuff if you're not well prepared. Somebody not taking it seriously might find them self in an ugly situation or an extended bout of bad luck. You don't disrespect these spirits without consequence. And if you're not sure what they might take as disrespect, then best to stay away until you do. But definitely forget about Hollywood style nonsense.

This one is much prettier, but you're really comparing one of best respected takes on one of the best respected Grimoires (GoDrR) with a beautifully produced curiosity (BoO).

@@FoolishFishBooks Thank you for this detailed reply :) I believe that Magick is about changing ourselves in relation to the object which we wish to change, and the change in the relationship causes the desired effect to occur naturally. Regarding angels and demons, the eastern (Hindu) equivalent of them are Devas and Asuras; both of which are said to live in, and are a part of us. This is parallel to what Lon Milo Duquette says in his book, Low Magick: its all in your head, you just have no idea how big your head is (The title says it all ;) ). My opinion of what the angels and demons might be is that they are aspects of ourselves, which obviously are supposed to be under our control. Although one look at the current world situation (or our own for that matter) would make it very clear that it is anything but. Thus the goal of the Magician is to bring these conflicting (Infernal?) sources under control using our higher will. Magick being a ceremony to give the process to happen a "permission slip". I have recently begun working with the GOM book, 72 Angels of Magick and the results have been very, very precise. The changes I've felt have been through loving and exciting impulses; a nudge here and a point there, but the intended effects did happen, or to put it in precise words, they flowed through like a torrent, effortlessly and in unbelievable ways :)

@@FoolishFishBooks Interestingly they say that they would retreat from publishing more books after 2021, not sure what that's about. I would, however, be picking up their other books soon :) Right now, I am very much drawn to Mr. Duquette's Enochian Vision Magick and Jason Louv's John Dee and the Empire of Angels; the practical and historical view of the Enochian Angels. If the divine will is in agreement, I would very much like to contact them as they seemed to have shaped the entire course of human history if Mr. Louv is to be believed, and he has a pretty convincing case :)

​@@FoolishFishBooks I wanted to share something very strange which happened last week, I was going through the Sigil of Bael in the GOM book Demons of Magick. It wasn't the usual Goetic one but modified to include the sigil of Vehuiah ( A beloved friend herself :) )and some other angels. While I was gazing meditatively at the sigil, I felt the room around me go bright for a fraction longer than a second ( like when the surroundings get lit by lightning) and a definite change in my own perception. There was no feeling of any presence, but my mood was certainly different. I am not sure if I had accidentally summoned Bael, but I was certainly not ready to deal with a spirit, so I respectfully asked for protection and requested that the spirit leave me and my loved ones in peace followed by an LBRP. The next few days saw the uncovering of the true thoughts of someone I thought of as a dependable friend (He certainly wasn't), a certain change in other relationships which resulted in a feeling of more security and an increase in "flow"; I don't know how else to describe it. Frankly, I am sympathetic towards Bael because I think that he is the same as MahaBali, a great demon king in the east, for whom there are temples and worshippers and is regarded as very wise and virtuous and has a festival, Onam dedicated to him. I am now totally interested in understanding this material and have just got my copy of Stephen Skinner's Key of Solomon :)

@@FoolishFishBooks Glad, you liked it :) How all this isn't the subject of mainstream research is a wonder. This is definitely more than just a placebo effect.

Maybe you just do not get the art of his rich intellect. Thats it. Find another source of knowledge and be content. Look into yourself, coz surely it would be beneficial to slow down... As you wrote... out of control...maybe it is your mind that is out of control? Why to adjust to crazy world by being the same. Balancing it is what makes beauty. With all respect, greetings.
