@@jaredmckinney7015 I’m a new spiritual creation but our flesh will always have a sinful nature. There’s so many scriptures that talk about crucifying your flesh and the sinful nature of our flesh. Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, and He said to His disciples, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). If he warned his disciples about their flesh I even more have to understand my weakness and guard against it.

I agree with you! In John 17:15 Jesus prayed the Father not to take His people out of the world but to keep them from the Evil one. Jesus had told the Church of Philadelphia, “See, I have set before you an open door, which no man can shut.” It will be a triumphant time (along with great tribulation) with an innumerable host of saints from every nation, tribe, and language (Revelation 7:9-14). Yet, it will be a time of great joy through tribulation. Imagine the joy in heaven during this time! Individuals within each church are challenged by Jesus to be an overcomer. Revelation 12:11 is key to overcoming.

I have run into them, too. I try my hardest to lovingly warn them about losing their faith if pre-trib doesn't happen. BUT they also accuse me of wanting the church to go thru the tribulation. I feel so sad for them, just keep praying for them.

@@kaydavis2059 We do need to pray (as you are doing) for those who believe they will escape the great tribulation (as if it is the wrath of God and as if we have a choice to escape tribulation!). Jesus is ever interceding for us all. The apostasy is already happening in a big way. But God is able to keep those who are His. Peter himself rebuked CHRIST (imagine the arrogance!), wanting HIM to escape the Cross. But Jesus prayed for him ahead of time and knew that he would be “converted” and told him to strengthen believers after He realized the full program of God. And Jesus later brought Peter to realize what type of death Peter himself would die. In other words, in the end Peter believed Jesus, and changed from his “pre-tribulation” belief to believing Jesus words! He wept bitterly over it, but Jesus had already prayed for him that His faith fail not and had told him so. And sure enough, his faith didn’t fail. He became a pillar in the church 50 days later. Jesus lost only one disciple-Judas Iscariot. There is a difference between betrayal and being too proud to repent (being the son of perdition) and denying Christ through fear and not understanding His Word, but humbling himself before all the others and becoming a strong leader as Jesus intended him to be.

1st Thess. 4:17; 2nd Thess. 2:7; and Luke 21:36. Look them up, if these do not describe a pre-tribulation 'rapture,' then what are they referring to?

@@jaredmckinney7015 You might want to re-read what you just posted there concerning 2nd Thess. 2:7, what you basically said is that Satan is the one restraining evil, holding it back. Rev. 12:11 speaks of those who will come to salvation through Christ during the tribulation period. I noticed you have no reply to either 1st Thess. 4:17 or Luke 21:36, both in context. May I ask why not?

But instead, you will simply express your opinion, and divert attention away from the subject matter by inferencing other's ideologies. I can show you from the writings of Spurgeon and Finney where your statement is incorrect, but that does not relate to the subject matter at hand, your defiance of the truths of the Scriptures in this area, and inability to defend the point you have attempted to make.
