Dear Simon, I am deeply touched by your video. You grasped the essence of the project. Magic is a science of the imagination! I am so looking forward to knowing your thoughts when you have emerged from my world. I spread my point of view on magic all over the project....that is an exploration about why and the different ways tarot are magic tools.... :) so many thinks to say. so many ideas to share :) thanks again for this most beautiful video. i really appreciated your depp insight on what I have created :) I am deeply honoured and grateful :)
Simon, you are one of my trusted Tarot RU-vidrs. You choose great decks to talk about and have insightful things to say. I have a rule for myself that I must watch the complete walk-through of a deck before purchasing it. And with this one, I had to force myself to finish the video before clicking away to buy the deck. I had a big stupid smile on my face while going through the purchase process. Thank you for having such great taste ❤😉
I absolutely love this! 😍 it’s a fantastic deck and book. Andrea is such a lovely guy, you could really tell that from when he was on your channel. I love the whole concept of this, a created magical world, it’s just brilliant. Love his artwork too and that will be so nice if you do some more lives with him 😍❤️
look at him he's tiny on that huge throne 😆 Simon I love it, little tiny emperor, exactly what what I would have done, that has made me chuckle. The colours are beautiful and love the art style. Thank you for sharing 💜
It is so so funny: others wrote me something similar: they saw a little emperor... thus I guess the card has a new layer of meaning: 2 emperors sitting on the throne; the big one, the super ego-powerful emperor, all-mighty (despotic and tyrannic?), and the little one who reminds us that we are just humans... no matter the power, the wealth, the fame...we have to face the same challenge (amazing one!) to give a meaning to our life, to do something with the time we have! :) If I had seen the 2 emperors before publishing the deck, I would have changed the illustration to make the 2 emperors even more visible :) thanks for this amazing point of view!
@@the_hermits_cave I just wanted you to know that I watch all your videos regardless of whether I have an opinion to share or not. I always appreciate your efforts regardless of how I may or may not feel about a deck.
He was interesting and lovely, I watched the interview but didn't comment there... he's fascinating ❤️ and what a beautiful voice! I can see him in his deck, just lovely. I plan to buy it.
Thank you so much... I am glad you enjoyed our tarot conversation :) :) :) I wish to have a moe mild accent and a better pronunciation :) :) sometimes i say something for something else...ah, the marvel and mystery of English language!
thank you so much for your support; this is my full time job, and as an independent artist, your support means a lot, it is very important! Publishers, too often, refuse works that do not fit in a box, as well as agents and promoters turn down artists who cannot fit their idea of what an artists should do: they do not like multidisciplinary artists :) so..thanks a lot for your support!
different decks for different people. I am more connected with decks that have many layers of meanings, complex deck, deep. decks with cards that have to say something more every time i use them. And this is what i try to achieve with my decks, where every details, colour, the connections between the elements have a meaning ad purpose. nothing is there for pure aesthetics reason :) looking for "the one" can be a challenging and interesting quest! The holy Grail of Tarot. have you tried Haindl tarot? Rachel Pollak wrote different books about it. It is a very deep deck.
@@AndreaAsteWorldI have not tried the Haindl Tarot. I will definitely look into that deck. Thank you mentioing it. I do have over 100 Tarot and Oracle decks. Ritual Tarot and Dream Vision Tarot are 2 of my newer favorites. However I carry and use a RWS tarot around everyday. I also love the Star Tarot and Crow Tarot.
@@the_hermits_caveGenra: I’m open to collage and I like some illustrated decks. I prefer RWS over Thoth and a blend between the 2 is even better. I’m looking for a closer match to a soul deck. I have tried many decks, I’ve lost count. I have certain cards that are sticking points for me: Magician, Hermit, Hanged Man, Strength, Death, Moon, Star, the suite of Pentacles can NOT be coins, and I could keep going. I feel like so many decks are close but are missing…something. Maybe I need to create a deck. I have started working one a deck 1 year ago. It’s still in process.
@@VinylWave11 When I need a very magical deck, i use an historical one; Marseille, usually. more complex to read, maybe, but I love it more. The first Book of Shadows (the Lost code of tarot) is a pips deck. and I want to create a new one. I love the geometrical patterns of the Moorish playing cards, ancestors of Tarot. :) do not give up your quest. everything precious is rare :) more difficult to find :)
