I love the poetry of this work, Crowley was truly a gifted poet and writer. Whatever you may say about his conduct, etc... the incredible language here is just an incredible treat. There are so many unforgettable and endlessly quoteable lines. It's no wonder so many artists and musicians even today look to Crowley for inspiration.
Nah... im listening to this for my own personal knowledge.. Im not really a fan of this man.. He let out a bunch of evil spirits and a demon.. to wich he screwed up and got rid of the famous house that Jimmy Page bought... I dont understand how a man like Page can make a pact with an Entity.. only to be a coward when he lived there to sell it as fast as he bought it....

i was born on april 10, my entire life i dreamed of a red book that id find in a sandy tomb or tunnel like thing, on my birthday 2 years ago i randomly shaved my long ass "hippie" hair on a whim, and by the end of the day had wound up in a book store in asbury park NJ, where i swear the book was calling to me like id found an old friend, when i held it, it felt like id unlocked something new inside of me, imagine my surprise the opening lines would literally reference my birthday and the exact day i found it and began reading it, my life has been totally different since, i have experienced the greatest losses of my life, only to be thrown into the most amazing and almost unimaginable gains and victories, this isnt bullshit, i am not a crazy person, i have some art projects where i can literally prove thru analytics this books influence on my life,tread lightly with expectations being based in the realities of the things you truly want, they are not the same as superficial and you WILL be shown how they differ.
if you're not a person that mentions god often you should be aware that you're constantly with the company of a lesser demon that might manifest in a certain way in your life in a negative manner

I walked wondering what I would find on the town because I was having super natural things happen that I couldn’t explain. I lived across the street from the fair grounds and there was a train track running along it. I was laying in my bed and I seen a vision of Walt Disney but he was also hitler driving the train as it went by I was laughing at the thought lol there was a lot of creepy things I was experiencing so I thought maybe the land was cursed lol went to the library to see if maybe I could find something about it and walked straight up to a book opened it up and it said the fair grounds were a Japanese concentration camp! I had went to high school here why hadn’t they taught that? I found it so odd. That made my witchcraft book from 2nd pop in my mind like holy crap it was magick! Wow! I started learning about it and was shown Tur Lock Turn Lock turn the key in the lock!!! And I did and I became free of my life of misery!! So amazing you are def not crazy❤

Alright there's a novel below but the concepts need to be explained at length otherwise they don't make sense. A sorta TLDR is "There is no other law above do what thou will" is pretty amazing and has layers to it that aren't easy to see the first time you read it. I went to a private Church of Christ school for 8 years by my extended family in an effort to "get me on the correct path". It didn't work, but I did write a paper on Satanism where I bought this book for research, even though he didn't really have anything to do with it. I mean it was the 90s so information was tough to come by. Anyways the line '"There is no other law above do what thou will" always stuck with me and is an incredibly deep statement despite it's brevity. The only true power is will. It's often read as supporting debauchery but that's not even close to all the areas it applies to. It applies to anything considered to be "good" such as compassion and charity. If the collective mind began to view those things as "bad" and instead views them as weak and negative then those things become "bad". I'm of the mind that it's a bad idea to do so since if all are one and everything is connected then it's pretty stupid to do things which harm others since you're ultimately harming yourself. I think that was the inspiration for much of what was attributed to Jesus in the New Testament of the Bible. Of course you'd love your neighbors as yourself because they are. Of course you'd want to forgive someone who wronged you. If you didn't you'd be harming yourself twice, once from the crime and again for not forgiving the criminal (that has it's limits as I think we know exactly what happens if those who commit crimes are allowed to do so without consequences). Unconditional love is just the will to accept and enjoy yourself coupled with everything that results from unconditional love. That's also why I don't think it can be unseated as the greatest good and most of the time the more "aware" or "awake" beings take that path as opposed to actions we see as selfish. You can exploit the fact that we're all one and you can take advantage of others to get what yoi want but I think you'll hit a wall after a certain point. The more you realize how connected everything is the more difficult it becomes to harm others as you start to have true empathy. You feel what others feel so if you harm them you literally harm yourself immediately. Creatures such as insects and fish don't have any concept of the "other" let alone have the capacity to think about how eating another creature alive feels to that creature. When you get to mammals they start to have a limited form of understanding in that area, and that increases with siminans, especially humans (not always though, sociopaths are a good example). I assume there's beings higher than humans and I imagine they're tend towards love amd selflessness as opposed to hate and selfishness, but the latter would exist. Like I said it will become increasingly difficult to act in a selfish manner the more connected you become.

“Do what thou wilt” is as evil as it gets. It is the light of lucifer “the light bearer”. This teaching completely and directly goes against Jesus teaching of “Narrow is the path”. Have you read the Bible? How did man fall? From believing the same lie told in this book. Genesis 3:4-5 - You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” This is basically saying you can be God yourself. Why is this wrong you ask? Look at Hitler - he thought he was God. Look at every dictator, they are following their will to power. Result? Millions of deaths. And now we have nukes :) The Bible is slowly coming true

Hence the book essentially opening with “fascism and communism are the same, I’m actually an enlightened centrist” which is a very coarse understanding of those political concepts.
At the beginning, that famous quote about do what thou wilt is spoken. As I learned from Mark Passio, the full quote says to do stuff in love under the Law. Except he says do what thy wilt like five or six more times throughout and only mentions love under Law once more at the very end. Near the end violence is encouraged against defiance. The value of blood sacrifice is rated from human to cattle. There was also a small gematria encoded section. Meh. Not picking up what you or your demon friend are laying down Crowley. The contents didn’t level me up except for checking off a to do list. Not sure why The Club and all of media love it so. I’ll have to check out more of Crowley’s stuff now.
Love in practice is subjective in of itself. One cannot love another equally but subjectively. I have seen in vision : the red god(warring), the green god (slaver) and the light that provides energy eternal which fruits fractures (souls) giving them never ending self womb recreation. This may be controversial, especially in this book of the internet, but there was a time that I was moved by Crowley’s writings but now that I’ve grown up, when I listen to them what I hear is a heavily inebriated man spewing egocentric nonsense in a desperate hope to believe that he is special. I believe that he was just a narcissistic addict who inspired future psychopaths who gravitated to a philosophy that gave value to what is in reality just shitty, selfish and self destructive behavior.

Iv often thought that our modern phelosephy/Political ideals have Cold origins and this looks like the genus of such ideas. Looking back then forward to the present day it’s clear to see how inherently destructive the system is. The forces and entities in this book speak of regenerating the world and reestablished. this suggest that something was lost and something took his place. That thing would be the Catholic Church and the order and Objective reality based philosophy. This one focuses more on subjective reality if not exclusively. And the importance of forcing on the world around you regardless of “reason”. Many of the modern slogans I hear today may actually be linked to this philosophy/religion. As such it would seem that the entities talking to Crowley here want to take back what has been taken from them. The reference the the dove and the snake is a clear destination tween the Holy Spirit and whoever the hell this is. Regardless the Philosophy/religion is inherently destructive and could only lead to the degeneration of people, like what we see today in the west. It might be stated that a school and knowledgeable or trained person and his arts might be able to hide the effects better, but the average person would be unable to show any restraint. Yet both have degenerated. One where is the metaphysical mask or the other tries to change their gender.
