Welcome to the BookTube community! Since you enjoyed the Harry Potter series, you might enjoy Ursula K. Le Guin's "Earthsea" series. (She originated the idea of a school for wizards.) Best of luck with your channel - I look forward to watching more of your videos. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
Just seeing your tag! So fun. I also love used books. And the library!! I have just started to get into fantasy a bit and I'm excited to try a bit more.
Hi, Becca! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us over the upcoming year. From an oldie content creator to another oldie, welcome aboard! So glad to have you here! Thanks for doing the Newbie tag so it's easier to find you and say hello!
Welcome to BookTube! I’m also new here and have been loving it. Most of my books are secondhand too and I love using the library. Oh and your description of a perfect book is basically mine too, with a little mystery thrown in! Love Addie LaRue. Looking forward to your videos 😊
Very excited to see a new booktuber. I also have a marketing background and have been thinking about starting a youtube channel for a few years (even posted a video or two and then deleted them). Video editing seems like such an amazing skill and combining it with a hobby you love sounds like a perfect combo. Good luck on your journey, can not wait to watch.
Thank you so much!! You should definitely do it. I also posted videos and deleted them over the years and never got the guts but finally took the leap and so glad I did. Learning editing has been so rewarding and surprisingly enjoyable. Thanks for being here!
Hi! Nice to meet you! I really enjoyed fantasy and love that you liked Sophie Kinsella, I really liked all her standalones but never tried her Shopaholic series. For nonfic, since you mentioned weird girl books, maybe try Caitlin Doughty? I've listened to Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and thought it was great. She writes about her experience working in a crematorium and as a mortician.
