I’m pretty sure grandad whooped him a few times. I think once in the comics huey forgot to cut the grass, huey tried to make an excuse saying something like “I suffer from procrastination” or something. Grandad then said “you’re about to be suffering from something else in a minute”. He didn’t actually get a whooping in the comic, but the dialogue implies that that’s exactly what’s about to happen.
