Sure, but the apple headphones don't sound 75x better. Apple is ripping people off because they are taking advantage of people who view it as a status symbol. Apple is a rip off
@@Code7Unltd with how tiny those players got even a decade ago, stuffing them inside a headphone isn't that difficult. Pretty sure if Apple wanted they could integrate one onto the airpods max chip.
And the speakers that make it sound like you're listening to music that's trickling into your room through a closed door coming from a set of speakers in another room across yours 💀
The P9 were so awesome during the microphone test, that my equalizer was not showing input for some of the frequencies. "Sound cancellation" must have been on.
I’ve been trying to find cheap headphones with noise cancellation and the p9s were popping up everywhere. You made this video at the perfect time, I was starting to think they’d be worth it 😂
i got a pair of taotronics a year or two ago , they’re essentially a rip off of the sony XM4s, they’re pretty decent tho, they were around €50, noise cancelling wasn’t bad either , could easily block out the train / bus
I actually got a pair of taotronics a few years back as well, they sound like shit with ANC on but the ANC itself is pretty good. Unfortunately they won't pair with anything over BT anymore. Nowadays you can get a pair of soundcore noise blockers for like $40 that are actually quite good so there's not much point in cheaping out.
Sure, a 10$ ripoff is easily worth it. It meaning "the same 700 Bucks those friggin Airpods cost". Suuuuure. Wonder what gave you that idea ? Weed ? 😂How can people be such terrible cheapskates (but probably expect excellent payment for themselves) ?
Wade really needs to get caught up on IEM's - the $10-20 market has gone absolutely insane and is producing real hifi now with stuff like the truthear holas, 7hz zero's, moondrop quarks, and CCA CRA's. And the under $100 range has some amazing planar magnetics like the 7hz diokos and KZ PR1's and TRN rosefinch.
@@colinmartin9797 Something around $40-70 would be ideal probably and I really enjoy the extra bass on my current iems. No amp though, and I just use a regular dongle dac.
@@whitepaws60 reminds me when ashens reviewed poundland "gamer" accesories. Including a couple microphones. The desk mic for 1 quid was actually pretty decent. All it takes is some diy and you can mount that thing to your headphones.
I didn't expect any bass when seeing those fantastically adopted “50mm HiFi dynamic coil speakers.” At least they surprised me by actually producing some bass.
The noise these have where it goes "The Bluetooth device is ready to pair" is literally the exact same sound as my music teacher's old giant Bluetooth speaker. When the speaker paired, that same voice would legitimately say: "The Bluetooth device is connect to the successfully" Yes, you read that right.
@@danzeldiaz7447 It wasn't a knockoff, it was just probably very cheap. Idk the brand or model, and it unfortunately stopped working so the school took it away, so I can't check.
I hope they break again and that DankPods finally looks for alternatives, cause at that price point needing one replacement is already a bad sign, let alone two or more
@@OtakuUnitedStudio I don’t see how people have issues with the products, I’ve gotten everything brand new and I still haven’t found any issues. Even after 6 years of owning them.
@@Diabeetus. Well, you could look at the hard evidence of DankPods's experience that has been documented via video on this very channel. That would be a good place to start. They just break. It is what it is.
I swear whenever he does the back-to-back comparison between the Hurr Durr six Hungos and whatever stinkbuds are being reviewed I physically brace like when I'm watching a movie and I know a jumpscare is coming
The Bluetooth voice is the same as the FM transmitter all my friends had for their cars. So nostalgic 😂 “ze blutooth device is connecteduh succsessfulllay”
I had a super sweet nugget set up when I was a kid but can't remember what brand. Was a stereo unit with 6 disc changer and had a built in mp3 player. It plugged in the top and you could play through the stereo. Was super sick
Heavy stick do heavy bonk. Light stick do light bonk. Most sticks are medium bonk. Use what you like most for feel and sound. This has been a complete comparison guide to drum sticks, you are welcome.
@@fijipodd maybe, but the second part of the comment was more referring to that the 20bucks spent on the cheap headphones are not really worth the money despite them not sounding too bad
@@Daniel-dj7fh no arguments. I'm just really bitter that I spent so much on shit headphones as a kid. I mean, even the dollar store specials I buy my 3 and 5 year old would have beaten the stuff I dealt with.
@@fijipodd im not so old so I don't know how the real struggle was. But I do remember stuff like 200Mb usb sticks being like 40bucks or so. So I kinda feel you.
When the audio recording from the P9 microphone played I fucking BURSTED out laughing. I was NOT expecting that nugget to sound THAT bad, that's actually worse than a cheap webcam mic and the results are HILARIOUS 😂
I have a pair of Sony noise canceling I've had for about 4 years now that cost $120, the ear cups eventually ripped after a couple years, but a cheap $15 set of replacements fixed it right up and they still hold up great. They still sound good and clean all around, battery life goes a really long time, and connected to most devices you can see the percentage of remaining battery.
I have a pair of Sony WH-CH700N that i snagged half price at £50 a few years ago and they're amazing! Noise canceling could be a bit better on them, but if the battery actually dies it has 3.5mm jack so I can still listen to stuff. I might have the same pair you have so knowing about replacment cups makes them even better.
I woulda liked to see it alongside a "mid" level bootleg that actually tries, if I remember correctly there are ones out there with actual ANC and the like (basically just a reskinned average 50$ chinese ANC headphone)
That is often the point that gets really interesting. You get some decent product, both in build and audio quality. Basically, take a way the price for the brand name, and get a product that is "okay"
I would never buy the apple headphones, but I will say that the magnet ear cup pad thing is sick. Would make is so much easier to clean when they get sweaty
Plus side is you can also buy more ear pads, so if they ever get damaged or too dirty you can just replace them. Plus it’s a whole lot better then that leather type of ear cup in my opinion
I just noticed the difference between open and closed back headphones. Open backs like the HD600s feels like you are at a show with the band, whereas closed back headphones feel like you are in the studio with the band. Neat.
Closed backs just, well, close off. You wouldn't want open backs on the train. Not only can you hear all the people around you, they can hear your music as well. But great for simply listening to music without distraction.
Took your advice on the KBs because I wanted a pair of buds as a spare in case my headset dies on me, holy heck they're so good! Might just use them instead and bypass my headphones entirely!
Thanks for the teardown. Was legit considering a pair for $7.60 at aliex to just tear down and do some swaps/3d prints(not considering them anymore). The bluetooth mic was amazing.
Hey, for the sound test they sounded like the difference between the real AirPod Max and the HD 600 but amplified. So I guess they sound a bit like what they're ripping off.
I want to say, I got the KZ ZSN Pros that Wade talks about a lot. They are amazing! About $20 and absolutely live up to his hype. Totally worth it and I'll definitely be using them for gigging and more!
I don't think the issue with the AirPods Max was that they exist, it's that €630 for a pair of headphones that sound like €50 wired ones at best is a bit too much even for Apple.
I really liked the AirPods Max, but the ear pads made my skin itch, I couldn't wear them for longer than an hour at a time, I really tried, sold them on the local auction site TradeMe and didn't loose much. Have settled on Technics EAH-A800 now, they sound far better to me than the Sony WH1000-XM3 did, and I can wear the A800 for hours and hours comfortably, what more could one want from a Headphone relegated to office duties. The Huh duh's and the tube amp are relagated lock myself in a quiet room at home duties.
