For Fun's Sake Expedition of the Inside Passage, Episode 05.
We have officially kayaked from Vancouver Island to Alaska!
Blessed with sunshine and calm seas in the notorious Dixon Entrance, we enter the United States of America and try to figure out how to manage a border crossing via kayak. We leave the serenity of the wilderness, enter the surreal world of Alaska's first city, Ketchikan, and navigate passed the cruise ships.
A resupply in Ketchikan allows us to take stock of our gear, hit the grocery store and load up on booze ready for the next leg of the adventure.
