Very clever! Definitely on my agenda to build, but with the 'Insane Mode' substitution of brake cleaner instead... Butane is great for proof of concept, but *far* too tame for the purpose of engaging in some insane recklessness and *not* having it be a total chore too. I'll welcome any suggestions towards a pressurized canned fuel in the same form-factor that can create a more violent stream of fire than brake cleaner does (or carb cleaner, pretty sure they've got the same combustibles) though!
This is a very cool, cheap alternative to homemade flamethrower and I'm interested in trying it out myself! But is the butane gas canister being too close to the fire source not a safety problem?
I made something just like this and my only problem is the area where the tip of the butane sticks out catches fire that I have to blow out. How did you avoid this problem?

Can you tell me How much flame time will come for one Butane bottle tank And also I want to build it in very minimalistic way for easy usage.
