Formed back in the 1990s.The 4-member crew namely -Dr. Shaka, Ras Pyton, Ranking Fire and Biggie for several years, have taken the country's entire music scene by storm.
The Born Africans are credited for being the trailblazers of the Gambian music scene.
They came at the time when the country's music scene was virtually dominated by foreign music.The Born Africans were the first group of artists to change the status-quo.They dominated the reggae musical arena in the Gambia with two of their best albums, 'Praises' and 'No More War'.
