Demri is already a better welder than me. Shows what a good teacher and a good welding unit can do. Also, thanks Robby, I think I learned a bit from you teaching Demri.
Fun learner welding story: In 1989 here in Texas I was in 8th grade junior high metal shop and got partnered with this scrawny little nerd who had moved from Philadelphia. I thought for sure that growing up on a cattle ranch and already having done some welding that there was no way that this kid could out-weld me and I was wrong!!! He was a natural!!! We've been best friends for 35 years. Love you, Ryan.
Dimri I definitely want to be very honest with you on your welding!!! You definitely did an amazing job for welding for your very first time ever for sure!!! You just have to keep welding and things will definitely come to you as for what you will need to do for each and every different weld that you need to do!!! I absolutely love welding and have been doing it for years and years and I still learn new things every once in awhile and love it!!! Hopefully you enjoy it and we definitely get to see you welding more in the shop!!! Awesome job once again!!!!
Paul Cox admitted in his video when his arm got broken that it was his fault. He did a rookie mistake and put his thumb in the steering wheel, not on it. The wheel grabbed his thumb and broke his arm. As they said on the Titanic, "Ship happens."
Robby what happened to Paul @fabrats was a freakish accident and nobody could've prevented it. Nobody forced Paul to do anything. He's a grown man and made a grown Decision. Robby you're doing great videos. Demri you're doing great welding. Keep up your great work and videos. Thanks for your share. From Orlando Florida.
Paul admits it was his own fault for grabbing the steering wheel not palming. He said never put thumb in the steering wheel. His thumbs where on the inside and he got hit and spin the steering wheel.
Those lift jacks you used to hold the skid in place... also you can use them as a drill press too. Just put your drill on top and slowly twist the jack thingy go'er upper and really saves the arms.
Robbie = a face only a mother could love.. Robbies children = handsome, and pretty. Def blessed with their mothers good looks!! you are a lucky man Robbie 🙂nice job welding Demri
On your gas tank. Just an idea. You might want to place a strip all the way down than put your bracket on. To keep the aluminum from cracking or in all 4x4ing.
Winches are required equipment. I think bracketing and direct bolting that aluminum tank will come back to haunt you. On the bottom, like they are, they are locators; they don't handle any weight. Once you put weight on them something will crack. Great job Demri! New cameraman Robbie can film you for a while now!
No need to snip the welding wire every time, just change the adjustable burnback control and the wire stickout length will burn back to what you set when you stop welding. Then the wire will be ready to go when you restart welding.
In your case, trimming should not matter. But if your welding stuff like high pressure vessels or items that hold tonnage. You want to pass X-rays and eliminating imperfections is a must.
