The Boston Celtics take game 1 at home to take an early series lead in the finals. Boston had production from their starters, as well as rotation guys. Kristaps Porzingis made his return in game 1 of the finals. Porzingis was a huge factor for the Celtics in this game and made an immediate impact when he stepped on the floor, dropping 18 points in the first half. The Celtics starters set a record for multiple 3's made in a finals game, and they played great perimeter defense on the perimeter and in the post. The Dallas Mavericks on the other hand had difficulties generating offense, with almost 60 % of their possessions being isos. Kyrie Irving struggled mightily and that hurt Dallas's chances for winning. They (Dallas) have to clean everything up if they want to win the series. Less iso, and more ball and player movement is what Dallas should be doing. Luka finished with 30 points, but clearly it wasn't enough. Lemme know what y'all think.
