Jason (Matt Damon) calls Pamela (Joan Allen) who thanks him for his help and tells him his real identity.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The second chapter in the "Bourne Trilogy," based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling espionage novels, reaches the screen in this sequel to the 2002 thriller The Bourne Identity. Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) has abandoned his life as a CIA assassin and has been traveling beneath the agency's radar, eventually reconnecting with Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente), the woman he loves. But Bourne is haunted by vivid dreams and troubling memories of his days as a killer, and he's not certain how much really happened and how much is a product of his imagination. When Bourne is led out of hiding by circumstances beyond his control, he must reconcile his past and present as he struggles to keep Marie out of harm's way and foil an international incident with dangerous consequences. +sr20DETdrift Me too This scene of composed and total control immediately follows the compassion he shows to his Russian nemesis in the car chase scene and the combination of reflective remorse and emotional vulnerability he shows when visiting Nesky's daughter. No wonder this movie is loved by men and women of all ages alike; there's something for everyone. Stylish scenes, superbly acted and accompanied by a killer musical theme throughout. A 10 minutes emotional roller coaster concluding a simply awesome movie.

I love the implication when he does that last like: "Get some rest Pam. You look tired". Its an acknowledgement of what she did for him, and a reminder he can find her or any of them, at any time, and they will be vulnerable, if he chooses it. Yep. Thats a guy you leave the hell alone lol.

Though this "ending" may seem to be implying what you are trying to say, its actually tied into the Third Act of Ultimatum when it turns out that the whole conversation was a code. You know what, watch Ultimatum and then look back at this scene.

@@amolmehlawat8197 This scene is shown again leading up to the climax of the 3rd movie. Landy is actually helping Bourne in this scene. While David Webb is Bourne's real name, the DOB wasn't accurate, and was actually an address (415 71st st.) given in code because Vosen was tapping the call.

I pranked my friend few years ago using this scene xD He was waiting for me in the coffee shop while I was hiding behind the bar and talking to him on the phone.The waitress agreed to play extreme ways on the main speakers the moment I said "get some rest Nikola,you look tired"' xD For a moment there he was actually shocked but when I appeared we had one the greatest laughs in our lives. I remember when Damon was cast as Bourne for the first movie back in 2000 the idea seemed ludicrous. He seemed too young, too preppy, too weedy. Yet his Bourne (especially in Supremacy and Ultimatum) is a total badass...wiry, smart, resourceful and lethal.

The Demon's Reflection Bourne isn't a spy. Bond isn't really much of a spy either. They're both "assets"...operatives. Bond is a more regular secret agent, though, i.e. he does actually carry out espionage duties. Bourne is more of an assassin and combat expert.

The way he walks is so interesting and cool. I think Damon even mentions it in an interview or something, but he walks with such purpose and intensity at ALL times. Even when he doesn't have somewhere immediate to go (this scene isn't a good example though), Bourne walks like some sort of predator. Always on alert, looking around, etc.

I remember getting an extra chill when “Extreme Ways” kicked in - at the time I had no idea they’d be using that song again. It’s tradition now, but that was when it became *his* theme. The unexpected reprise of it matched with Matt’s excellent deadpan delivery make this one of the finest endings IMO.

there is a mistake in this scenes too. In the Bourne Supremacy you can see Jason Bourne walking away after his conversation with Landy and the sun is shining and it's warm outside but in the Bourne Ultimatum it's winter when Bourne is in NY.
