According to Alan himself, when someone is paused they're brain is paused too. So, I'm assuming that just like when you pause a video and it stays on that one frame, the paused person's vision is, well, paused too. Same with all the other senses, I'm assuming.
14:37 so let me explain why the chosen one is trying to break it at that point because that’s when he flies out of a hole that leads alan’s computer and doesn’t want to show them where that hole in the sky is so he tried to lose connection to skip that important part.
The Gray figure is named "Victim" he was in the very first animator vs animation. Victim wants revenge on Alan (aka the mouse cursor) because of what Alan did to him. Alan tortured Victim for his own amusement. Victim survived and created a whole company to get revenge. Victim isnt really a villain but more so a broken being. Victim was never bad he was tortured and ridiculed by Alan. Victim needs to use the device to look into his memories. In the memories he sees Yellow creating the mouse cursor. The first animator vs animation was made over 10 years ago. Victim probably doesnt trust anybody because of what Alan did to him so he classifies most stick figures as threats. He attacked the chosen one (the black stick figure) because of his anger. Victim also attacked the chosen one so he could train himself. Thank you for looking at my comment
12:13 that’s not a good thing, the poor eel is sad and scared. The creatures that he drew has a mind of their own so they are conscious and are a living thing
I hope you realize this, but the grey stick figure is "Victim". As when you look at the scene where Agent Smith duplicated him (The Grey Stick Figure), you can see that the file name he selected says "Victim" and to add on each of the five Victim's weapons were similar to the original weapons used in the first Animator vs Animation video.
