The Boy From Ulysses Company | *TRUE* Singapore Ghost Stories 

I was from Ulysses in 2015 or 2016 during my time as a recruit during BMT and heard that the block was actually haunted. The story I heard was that a recruit stormed into the company office in the middle of the night in panic and reported to his sergeants of what he had seen while sleeping in his bunk. He refused to go back and slept in the office that night. Apparently, what he saw that night was a figure sitting on the window ledge looking out (or in). Other bunk mates also heard footsteps of people walking (in slippers) around the room in the middle of the night and even knocking noises from a locked cabinet. One of the sergeants didn't believe it and decided to stay in the room/bunk during one of the nights to confirm their story and he confirmed that he did indeed hear those noise (people walking around) in the middle of the night. Also to add on, i remember our sergeants gave warnings to some of the recruits from bunks/rooms that were known to be hot spots for paranormal activities and assured them not to worry if they were to encounter such incidents. I was fortunate that my bunk/room was "safe" from these hauntings. I am not sure if this story is true or not and am just sharing what I remembered hearing.

Ulysses company also back in 2007. Our sergeants and COs already informed us back then that there is a young boy roaming around our block. The figure will either run along the corridor or jump on the beds of the recruits. If it is the latter, our advice given back then was to ask the boy to go away in Malay. I personally experienced the latter experience but instead of asking the boy to go away, I just suddenly sit up and snarled at the boy and then went back to sleep. Never got any disturbance from the boy since then.

2017 batch here, my batch being the first Guards mono intake to be held in Tekong unfortunately. I was in Charlie company and we took residence in Ulysses coy. Thankfully never experienced any paranormal encounters, even at that one point whereby I had to sleep alone in my bunk as the rest of my section mates went for guard duty. However we were told by our commanders that our building is being occupied by an "old lady" and a "little boy" , and all of us Immediately knew what they meant. My section mate did find a long strand of hair on his bed one night and another guy mentioned when he was in the toilet showering, he thought he was having a conversation with his buddy but when he continued the conversation in the bunk with him, he had no idea what he was talking about and told him that he was never in the toilet. The rest of the section testified that he never went there too... creepy

Ulysses Coy Sep 2011 Plt3 here. My buddy told me I woke him up one night to follow me to the washroom. He followed and waited outside the washroom for him but I took a long time so he went in the washroom to look for me. But the washroom was empty so he walked back to our bunk and he said I was already asleep on my bed. The story twist is I never woke up the entire night so whoever woke my buddy up wasn't me... P.S I never heard of this ghost boy when I was there.

Ulysses Coy platoon 4 resident in late 2007/early 2008. Didn't experience anything but they did warn us not try anything pantang. Great view when bathing in the evening, can see Singapore in the distance as the sun sets.

Was a perm staff in Tekong back in 09-11. Didnt heard of U Coy being haunted, in fact we often hang out late at the tables in the open air in between Ulysses & Viper block - beachside as its very windy and shiok. Places that were advised to be out of bounds to drive or visit at night - as advised by WOs / Resident civilians on Tekong - were the Old RPL Point, 100m Range, Old Camps 1 & 2, hotspring & Kg Unom.

Damn bro, Ulysses in 2012 or 2013 I think. We had a bunch of experiences, especially the platoon below us. All of us on the top floor always woke up at what we call the 'witching' hours, and it was crazy how we all talked about it in the morning after. The floor below had it bad though, if I recall someone had some really bad experiences and had to fall out of BMT because of it, lots of rumours flying around saying he encountered dirty stuff, things moving around and footsteps all night, how they all tried to sleep together and still experienced weird shit etc. Our sergeants were all burning offerings throughout the nights also, it was a pretty crazy stay.

was from Ulysses but probably a different time period from the story. I remember it was school 3 instead of 2 and there haven't seem to be bunks in that configuration. nonetheless i realized that this shadow hunching over and staring at people when they sleep is quite common in bmt in general. whats up with these ghost and staring at people in their faces man? did happen to one of my bunkmates. quite a number of my bunkmates also heard what sounds like someone chanting right next to their ear in the middle of the night. one of my section mate did consult his shifu and the story was there were 3 entities roaming around our level. one of which happens to be a little boy too. i did personally experience sth rather unusual one night.. but im just here for ulysses stories today. =X

I did researched.. In the 1950s, Pulau Tekong used to be a kampung/villages to a lot of Chinese (even though the Malays are the earliest settlers on the island). There were like 10 kampung/villages back then.. A lot of the people died during World War II. That's why those who survived during the war, they moved into Singapore and the island became an army island..

Paranormal discipline master sushi!!!

Similar personal experience back in 2009 from Ulysses. For a moment, i could have easily mistaken it as my own encounter. Got to admit, my encounter pales in comparison though. Resided on level 2, back then was bunk bed. Mine was on top closest to main door. Woke up that night around 4am plus. My eyes just happened to look opposite and saw a really tall dark figure (close to ceiling height) hovering still at the 2nd bed from the main door. Could not believe what i saw, rubbed my eyes once or twice, and only when i realised the figure was still there and covering most part of the metal cupboard that i knew i was in for the longest half an hour to wake up call ever. Also my section mate that the figure hovered over, had frequently made casual disrespectful remarks about these supernatural stuffs prior.He had quite a number of uneventful things which happened to him in camp after that night though.

this experience is from my father, while he was in a forest as a sergeant and with his 6 men but something was not right, he looked up to a tree and what the hell he saw a "Hantu" floating on a tree, as he is a muslim he wasnt really scared but he used hand language saying: hey, hantu, lets get out. they left quietly, but... it was not over, at the age of 35 he was about to sleep in his bed when he saw a Hantu floating outside his window, he wanted to recite ayatul kursi in his Qu,ran but he couldnt move and cant reach it, 10 mins later the Hantu disappeared and he felt a cold in his body, Acording to malay folklore if you fell cold after seeing a ghost it means the ghost is sitting on you. -From my father, Muhamad Ismail to Sneaky Sushii.

Not sure if anyone experienced this, but on days when I’m especially tired which I believe was the case for him after a long route march, I tend to fall asleep too fast and when that happens it usually gives me similar scary nightmares like that, it’s almost like the body has completely shut down and my mind is still actively awake. Then again it could be just me.

I was in Ulysses block as well back in 2019, but we were under the Mono Intake batch. Back then I was Platoon 1, so im literally at the second floor and at the bunk nearest to the Lecture hall in between Viper and Ulysses. During my stay in Ulysses I was assigned to the bed nearest to the corridor, and our beds were flushed to the wall and if yall recall our bunks' walls has a lot of holes on it, mainly for ventilation I believe but people just used it to hide their cigarettes, so everytime I sleep I have a habit of sticking my head to one of the holes as the wind blow it's quite cooling. So as a deep sleeper I usually wouldnt be woken up by things, but I remember one night I was woken up by slippers sound coming from the Lecture Hall side, and once I opened my eyes, through the hole in the wall I saw this short figure literally like dashed past my POV. At that point of time I really thought was my platoon mates crawling to run from one of the sergeants checking because if he stood up, the sergeant can see him from first floor , but now watching this video... I wonder, if that's actually my platoonmate because.... who would risk getting caught by sergeant and lepak at the lecture hall than lepak in their own bunk...?

I had a similar incident when i was a recruit back in 2011 in bronco coy at BMTC school 1 , as our beds were double decked.. being at the top floor of the coy... it always gave the chills especially when u were to walk towards the wash room like something is staring at you from the stairways... especially when our coy was almost close to the APACHE gate that seperates school 1 SOC area and the forested areas.

I live in sri lanka. Our school has a local ghost as well. It is called Vikki. It is spirit of a boy that died because of bullying. It haunts the hostel special last room of the downstairs bathroom and in front of it, upstairs bathroom of the hostel. Lot of people claim to see him even my roommates but I didn't but there fear is genuine. One day my buddy and me went to the bathroom at night and my body saw a kid running infront of the hostel. When I looked at it. It disappeared. I think it's because sri lankan culture has 3 kinds of people deva, manushya, and raksha. It said deva and raksha cannot notice paranormal activities. I can confirm that because every times my mom is alone she hear footsteps and sometimes when I'm near her but I don't hear anything. She is manushya

2004 Ulysses company batch here. Didn't experience anything paranormal during my time there and I even woke up to go toilet alone at night several times throughout my 3 months there. None of my platoon or company mates experienced anything weird too.

In 2006 Sep on my first day of BMT in Tekong School 2, Leopard Company, I found a piece of paper with Islamic script printed on it inside my cupboard (Bed 03). not being a Muslim, I removed the sticker and stuck it in the cupboard for Bed 01, since I knew the dude's a Muslim. For the record, we were Platoon 3, Bunk 2. So if my buddies see this, they will know who it is. That night, I had trouble sleeping since I used to be drinking/clubbing at 10:30pm and not in bed. At midnight, I suddenly heard chanting coming from the direction of the corridor. I turned to my right and I saw someone sitting upright on Dude 01's bed and staring at him, chanting/talking to him, and it sounded like it was in Arabic. It seemed like the dude from Bed 13, another Muslim guy, but when I looked over, he was sleeping, just like everyone else when I looked around to check. The door was locked as per the Platoon Sergeant's advice, so it couldn't be anyone else from another bunk. I then straight sat up and was about to ask who it was and how they got in, when the figure suddenly stopped chanting and turned to stare at me. It was a dark/black shadowy figure and I couldn't make out any facial features. And I could feel that it was really angry. So I lay back down and tried to sleep, and eventually I did, while the chanting went on. Next morning, I asked the dude from Bed 01 if he experienced anything. He said he didn't sleep well. I kept quiet about this until the night before we had our Passing Out Parade..... and then I told Dude 01 about it. He was like "WTF why didn't you say anything?". So anyhow, after a night of celebrating the last day on Tekong, we went to sleep around midnight... and I woke up about 2am in the morning, sat up, and saw the same shadowy figure chanting over Dude 01 again. This time I kept quiet and said nothing. However this time around the figure wasn't angry and gestured for me to go back to sleep. That was the last time I saw it. Anyhow, wasn't the only incident. from Tekong BMTC, to the 7-day Field Camp, to SISPEC (Pasir Laba) to Stagmont Camp to Jurong Camp 2, to Infantry Training Institute and Nee Soon Camp... seen and experienced many things. The only time I didn't experience anything nasty was in Kanchanaburi in Thailand. Even in Macritchie my SISPEC section got attacked by spirits during a night exercise, something 6 of us experienced together.

I live in India and usually most of my life for summer I would go to my grandmas house in Kerala with was located in a rainforest. When I was a kid I used to see shadow like figures run around the house sometimes and i thought it was just me imagination as I grew up I saw less of these until one night when me and my mother were sleeping in one of the rooms. I was going to go to sleep until I saw a tall figure with a sack on his head that had long red eyes and the big smile it was very a top had and a suit and had long nail and was staring at me I was scared and looked up to the ceiling and saw a black figure with one singular big eye ball staring at me I told me mom and she said it was all in my head and she kept a light on the whole night so I could sleep. The next morning when I woke up I had a terrible fever and was sweating and feeling very warm and was having a headache and the thing was that my grandfather had died in that same room

I remember my army company which was a merged between hawk and gryphon company and it has many stories from lit candles to appeased the building, lockers shaking/scratching, blocked off 5th floor with a locked bunk that has the pasted picture of the hell god and taoist symbol, coins on paper in lockers, the sleepwalking incident where every bunk has a guy that suddenly sleepwalks to the door and many more. I were one of the dudes that ooc during bmt and was forces to sleep in the blocked off 5th floor rooms with coins in locker the night i slept i had a dream where a ghost/black figure had a chokehold on one of my ooc bunkmate by the toilet door it's very surreal as I'm kinda able to see ghost through my dreams via like somewhat a soul projections.

Ulysses company Aug 2020, didn’t experience any paranormal activities but there was always a picture frame above the cupboard in the storeroom that the store man would put sweet drinks in front of it as if it were offerings. Always thought it was weird but maybe now I know why haha

Was from the PTP batch with Ulysses in 2012. Plt 3, bunk bed beside the window. Never heard of these stories when i was still there, thankfully 😂 I do recall one night i was waken up by a constant noise, which sounded like a hanger hitting the side of the cabinet or a wall. I wore my glasses and tried to find the source, i even checked outside the windows.. one of my bunk mates also woke up and we couldn't figure out where it's coming from. Then on the last day before we left for our 24km route march, my bunk mate that was sleeping across me, told me he has the 3rd eye, and he saw a boy on top of my cabinet that night. He said he didnt want to scare me uneccessarily because theres nothing we can do. So I'm pretty thankful he held his tongue till we left hahah.

Tye spinning chair had me laughing so bad

i was from Ulysses, it was really haunted. But the black figures helped to keep the clothes for my bunk mates . There were also incident of Bakkwa shaking the locked cabinets like crazy. There were stories of a Seargent that ate Bakkwa and gone bonkers running the track till day break and woke up unable to remember what happened. One bunk mate was woke up by the black figure to go toilet. He blur blur followed the black figure to toilet entering the cubicle as he also wanted to pee since its compulsory to accompany buddy during the 7th month. After he pee finish no sound from the cubicle, he did a hop to see behind inside the cubicle and nobody. When he ran out he fainted right outside the toilet. Next day he got fever for 5-7 days and came back telling us the incident. I myself did not see but hear weird noises. Anyways everyone was too tired and shagged to even care whats going on in the night.

HTA F building, heard something outside the window and look outside saw a boy roughly 10 years old running. I went back to sleep and didnt tell anyone, next day i ask my sqd, 2 other guys saw it. nothing scary but i thot it was interesting

Why does a coy in tekong have single beds? I thought it has been bunk beds all along. Story didn't state which year, but can anyone confirm if they had single beds in their year?

All army camp are haunted. I'm at 7 BTS , 6th Mono intake GUARDS. 1992-1994. When I doing guard duty at Nee Soon Camp the guard house is haunted. I remembered when I'm sleeping I felt something hold on to me preventing me from getting up.

Since I'm bored and I wanna share something about my school, I'm going to share about my paranormal experience in the School's Toilet...(It always the schools toilet-) So it started one day, when I heard that apparently the Level One toilet in my school was haunted. I didn't believe it and laughed at the thought of it, but I was curious so I went to investigate it MYSELF. Which was a horrible decision, but anyways. I went down after school because I had CCA, I never went to the Level 1 toilet before so it was kind of scary. The toilet lights were dim and it was at the darkest corner of my school, when I looked at a side of the wall. It had a slightly visible blood stain, I was creeped out. Then when I entered, I thought I saw something from the corner of my eye. I got chills also. Then I saw the first toilet cubicle door closing slowly by itself and I thought I saw a girl dressed in the school uniform but without a face. I was so scared, I immediately ran out. I told my friends about it and they just said: "Aiya, you really scared about it ah?" I was visibly annoyed until they just offered to go investigate it with me (we were still waiting for our CCA), when we entered the toilet, the slightly visible bloodstain was gone and the first toilet cubicle door was opened and clearly nothing was inside. I was shocked, scared and confused. And I still don't know what happened till this day...
