The stunt coordinator in the show is also the real stunt coordinator on the Boys, John Koyama. Also famous as the first person to get killed in Breaking Bad! (He plays Emilio)
@@AUniqueName another Shocker to me is the fact that the actress for Firecracker also plays one of the main characters in Detroit Become Human. Looks so different here!
@DrewMack-oj3lh When he ran from Homelander last season, those animated characters explained it was the trauma from being bullied by Soldier Boy is why he doesn't talk I thought. On top of the damage, he took back then too.
Still holding it against my parents that my Bar Mitzvah didn’t have Billy Butcher brutally murdering clones of the same guy while a battle theme of Hava Nagila was playing even though my Bar Mitzvah was about 12 years before this episode aired 😂😂
Fun thing about Black Noir this season, I'm pretty sure that he is played by the same actor that played Black Noir before. They just finally gave that guy some lines to say haha
I literally just finished watching your guys' reaction to the first episode of this season, and right after that you posted the video for episode 2, that's... wow, a great coincidence. Hi, from Brazil, love u guys
I feel like Sage is potentially worse than Homelander. I mean his problem is that he feels like he's better than everyone else, including the other Sups. Sage feels like she might think being smarter than everyone else means she's better than everyone else... including Homelander.
MM kicking Butcher out and not helping him is so dumb... doing what Butcher has been doing, just making it worse for him. 8:58 Can someone explain? I don't get it. The chocolate fountain was so dumb. No way anyone would be able to be that still... Frenchie doesn't even have super strength.
He's a liability. Yeah their job is already dangerous but the vendetta of Butcher is putting up more risk than they need. He's the reason why the hotel mission failed sooner rather than later since the acid didnt work anyway while getting 2 agents killed.
@@Retsih Kripke has gone on record saying that he thinks that twist in the comics was very out of place and unlike in the comics there is no reason for Noir to be a clone in the show
5:17 Eric, you hit the nail on the head here, “Koy” in the show is played by John “Koy” Koyoma and he’s been working on the show as a stunt coordinator for a while now, he won an Emmy for season 3 too!
The Prime trivia for the multiple-self-ass-eating scene at 10:17 says, "Actor Rob Benedict wants us to remind everyone that he studied Shakespeare at Northwestern University. There is no contractual obligation for us to carry out this request. This is merely a kind gesture."
In the Kings of Con podcast he's on, Rob said that The Boys reached out to him to ask what he wanted to be on the X-Ray information. When they were filming the scene, while he was mouthing at the fake butt they used for the visual, he told the gathered crew that "I went to Northwestern" and got a good laugh, so that's what he asked to be put on there!
I love the subtly absurd joke of a bar mitzvah being held in the same hotel as a conspiracy theory convention. It's a really funny sight gag and the show trusts its audience to understand the innate humor in it without spelling it out.
ooooh y’all are churning these out, bless!!! love eric’s hearty chortle at “alex jones lookalike contest,” also so glad that nathan mitchell finally gets some lines after all this time! the xray for this episode says something about rob benedict (splinter/chuck from spn) wanting to remind people that he is classically trained in shakespeare and that the note is “a kindness” they’re doing for him 😂
All we need is Rufus (Steven Williams) to appear in the show. Have him run against Bobby Singer for the presidency. Another great character from SUPERNATURAL.
@@itsnotevenmyfinalform because this is a live show that airs episodes weekly, except for the first three episodes, but Naruto is not. not that difficult to understand
You guys really should watch the marvelous ms. Maisel ( the real name of the show , the one that had a cardboard cutout showing monk )one of these days
Honestly, MM became my least favorite character. I accepted Starlight because she has always been the idealistic center in the series. But all this moralism with Butcher, Soldier Boy and Homelander that MM has seems most pathetic and ridiculous to me. The best decision as a leader and as a group with a mission was to stop Homelander with the help of Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy was a racist, sexist, bad person with anger problems, but Homelander is a narcissistic psychopath with no regard for the value of human life and most importantly... Without weakness, without kryptonite. Soldier Boy has such a weakness that a government in the sixties was able to imprison him and keep him captive for decades. Seriously, let the series try to take MM's side. It's the worst decision ever. He's not right, Butcher always makes bad decisions, but that one was the most sensible. Use Soldier Boy, stop the biggest danger that is Homelander and then exploit Soldier Boy's weakness to take him down. Anyway... MM, it's at a point where I can't even tolerate him
If she doesn’t even have to dress as starlight jus glow a little bit idk what the big deal was i would think tht jus integrates the two personalities for the public
I might have missed something in the last season but why exactly is the Kimiko-Frenchie thing gone? She says something like "we are not happening" but why? What did I miss?
I mean… what else is a mute person supposed to do when they’re mad at someone? I’m pretty sure that guy had no idea what she was saying but is she supposed to suddenly not be mute?
Did you never saw a drunk person doing something illogical before? Do you really believe if a Dutch speaker is angry at English speaker. Dutch wouldn't say a thing because English speaker wouldn't understand? I personally don't think that's how normal people behave. Doesn't matter if other person understand language or not. If a person is genuinely angry. Then angry person going to speak. Specially if drunk.
@@Phoenix-ti6tx if anything, the fact that Naruto is not weekly and is actually finished with way more episodes to get through, means that they should upload 2 a week.
Spoilers if you haven’t seen this episode: I like how Sister Sage did the classic “doesn’t witness the heroes death” when she leads them into a trap with firecracker, and even the duplicates with guns wait like a good 30 seconds before shooting. And even when MM gets a gun, doesn’t shoot the duplicating guy right away to prevent him from making more copies 🫠
@@JNB0723 also intelligence does never equate wisdom. Sage's way of acting makes it seem as if she can see the flaw in all things non stop, permanently discouraged.
There are hints that she is trying to sabotage Homelander and is double crossing him... While pretending she is on his side. She might be making mistakes on purpose and is being seen in public to leave a trail of evidence
