After watching the scenes with Butcher and Negan, I really do feel like negan is just in his head. Butcher is the only person talking to him, it’s like Butcher’s becoming Venom
i heard ppl talk about this, but my question is how did he got the drug to subdue ryan few episode ago? he went and got it and he is just thinking negan gave him?
@@AppleFrogTomatoFace he went and got the drugs without himself knowing and is just imagining Negan doing these things for him but I might wrong, will see at the end of the season
i wanna believe that stan edgar is just chilling in prison and then he gets introduced to pottery class and he barely shows any emotion while doing it but actually feels incredible gratification in the masterpieces he makes
did hughie just kill his dad who was basically a supe? how? with some drug overdose? maybe he can take that stuff to butcher and help him make the virus.
@@nitish.anand99i dont think it works on normal supes, Hughie's dad got injected with V which is not good plus he was brain dead when he got revived so even as a supe he wasnt remembering everything meaning damage already been done, it's just not the same with born supes i don't think some drug overdose would affect them.
The only born supe is Ryan , Vaugt paid parents to inject there kids when they were to young to remember. Some supes r stronger than others so harder to kill, but the virus target’s the v in the blood so theoretically it should work on all supes
As far as everyone's noses bleeding before Neuman walked in, that was her using her power in a small way. She was creating pressure in their heads, almost like a pre-pop. She did it to Starlight when they were talking to each other in season 3.
Yeah. I think thats how she makes her self super strong too, with blood because she's cut herself with a knife before so she isnt always invulnerable@@Thevikingninja117
Literally every person's head shes popped had a nose bleed first. This is the problem with react channels. They are so focused on "reacting" and commentary they dont actually watch.
@@paul-juniorblack6151I was thinking of that! I wander how that works with a knife but a bullet to the head doesn’t do anything ..now granted she used the knife on herself so ..who knows. I also like Vicky is that weird? Lol she’s a possibility in killing homelander but for story sake it will most likely come down to Ryan.
@@Thevikingninja117 I mean tje reason exploding body parts works is because she causes the blood to combust inside the body. Homelander's body might be too strong to blow up from the inside. Regardless she's too afraid to try it so she's not confident
And it also goes along with their personalities and at certain extent with their traumas, they both "avoid conflict" so being able to teleport away or phase through things are ways of avoiding I think, and in the case of Hugh Sr. It manifests his sentiment of being "unnoticed" like "he wasn't there"
@@WebbedManiac sure it is. You can use speed of phasing as a transfer by manipulating molecules or atom momentum thus transporting or teleporting yourself to another space or through something
@@Kidapollo92 Kimiko's inner rage and thirst for vengeance could be translate to her being able to broke people's bones and the healing must be her desire to overcome her traumas, she can heal from any physical injury, but she can't heal her mind.
I like that Butcher is doing his own morally fu**d up but nesscary things. With Starlight and MM we will be sitting ducks. MM can atleast comeup with plans. Star Light's whole battle revolves around social media and public image. Defeating Homelander and exposing him will just break all his restraints and he kills everyone now instead of acting like he is a hero. Just go all Freiza mode. Hughie and Butcher are two seprate sides on the protag coin. They are both the main character with Hughie being the goody two shoes that tries to solve the problems in peaceful ways but fails. Vs Butcher who is diabolical and willing to be exterme. Which lets him come out on top when all odds are against him. Simon Pegg really did the role justice. Made me tear up. Hugie always goes through loss each season. As for Butcher kidnapping that guy. Well I don't really feel any sympathy, he is a Vought scientist no different than the ones Homelander killed. Although an interseting note is that none of the 3 supes we had even try to fight the Sheep. Implying that Animal supes in Higher weight class are much stronger the human supes. Makes sense, more blood and muscles for the V to flow through and the strength much higher than a human. Plus they don't even die, they got this strong by just drinking water with a little V in it, imagine a direct injection. So well V up a Bear and pit him against Homelander.
Don't put too much thought into it. The showrunner does not think that deep. All of the big brained chads got btfo'ed in the s3 ending. Kripke doesn't give a fuck
@@abrarahmad6370 that's what I was thinking, If V'd up animals Are to a supe the same way a regular animal is to a human, Than surely a bear or a Bull on V should be physically much stronger than Homelander, We even saw Kimiko Holding back the super chicken like it was a regular One with a regular Human
@@Captianmex1C0Butcher is trained ex special forces and he wasn't strong enough vs Homelander even with his combat skill and Temp V. So Homelander>Soldier boy>Temp Butcher since Soldier boy+Butcher couldn't pin down Homelander, they needed Hughie. So while a bear might destroy weaker supers like Temp Hughie, I don't see it harming Homelander, Soldier boy, Temp Butcher or Maeve. Best I can relate it to is Super Saiyan, Homelander is like a weak and untrained SS3 while other supers like Starlight and Kimiko are regular super Saiyan, and Queen Maeve, Temp Butcher and Soldier boy like trained SS2, with Ryan potentially being Mystic Gohan but unskilled. Also who would stop the bear if by miracle it did become stronger than Homelander lol, that would be demonic, just learn to live with a bear breaking in homes like the Kool aid man and eating whomever and whenever it likes haha.
Starlight's powers seem to affect anything electrical. Since the brain and the body use electrical impulses, she could short-circuit someone's brain in a second if she mastered her powers.
I think that they wanted to show it's a mental issue/block that she's going through. Where she has stated she doesn't know where Annie and starlight begins and end.just like her talking with Victoria she had to hid her original name
Everyone seems to be missing the implications of the scene where Billy Butcher kills that tentacle parasite. These scene depicts how Billy hates that parasite that’s also inside him, and this leads us in 2 directions: 1) he tries to get rid of the parasite 2) despite his hatred of it being inside him, he takes the self-serving route of using it for what he perceives as the greatest good
@@damonestephens8722the thing wringling around in him and when he blacked out then killed the preacher guy. The bunny had temp v in it and it drank the v water, temp v + reg v = parasite. OR the bunny had a tumor too and the reg v gave it a life, like in that one diabolical episode
Jaby somehow went through all of this episode and the discussion without mentioning the virus or Gen V and I still have zero clue if he's watched or not watched it. Impressive
This episode was bittersweet. Loved it but also annoyed at what’s going on. The team can’t seem to get it together, butcher still backstabbing everytime they get. And homelander is playing it smart with Ryan. He’s manipulating Ryan the same way he was manipulated. He’s training his mind and Ryan has no clue. And I kinda don’t like what they did to Stan’s character.
Each episode convinces me more and more that Kessler is just Butcher's devil on his shoulder, like Becca is his angel. 0 scenes where he interacts in any way with anyone but Butcher and all his talking points and language are the epitome of Butcher's bad side. At the end they kinda made it look like Sameer looked at him, but it seemed more a reaction to Butcher, following where he was looking at. 14:09 Yes, she did the nosebleed, but she has no control over Annie's powers. I don't know why you even assumed a connection there when even Vicky looked surprised. 33:42 I don't think he's that much like Homelander, but he's a teenager. Teens like to have control and feeling powerful, it's their rebellious phase and where they typically clash with their parents who try to control them and their hormonal urges. In this case however he can kinda live those out, without an actual consequence. It's definitely bad parenting and what could set him on a terrible path though.
Is Joe even real or Billy is just hallucinating ?! He saw Becca while he's alone . He is with Joe when is alone . And Joe just knows where Billy is and comes there.
When Butcher took actual V, I think it turned the parasite, or Butcher super abled. I think Butcher is, and is able to control the parasite to do his bidding now. Just my theory!
Only because there are suddenly 2 new "heroes" ? Noboody would have had any problems with that if Gen-V didn't exiated, its quite normal just like Saige and Firecracker or Stormfront came in as new "heroes". And the virus, if they said is was created by Osborne, Stark or Vaught Labs .. everybody would shrug and say : yeah, thats the stuff they do all the time.
This episode literally goes out its way to make fun of the MCU and people are still saying this. Watching Gen V or not wouldn’t have mattered for this plot line at all. Get over yourself
I guess the Compound V works the same as the super soldier serum (since its the boys version of it), it does change the user's personality like the serum did. Good turns good bad turn worse. That could be the message of this episode, Butcher is turning evil, Hughie's dad isnt himself, animals become super savage
I gotta give big bro props on his knowledge for that famous commercial. That guy was not native American. And he knew that without research. I've watched two of the biggest reviewers only notice the that the commercial of voughts was unmistakeably yt. While glossing over the original guy in the commercial wasn't native American either but Italian American!
A great episode, but heartbreaking as well. What surprised me was that they went extreme with the violence for two back to back episodes. Usually there is like a two episode gap.
Look I've watched Re-Zero, so I was not glad about Butcher letting a V-powered rabbit out of it's cage before knowing the situation. It's one messed up show and the bad things that happen to Subaru can sometimes make this show look tame. Love it though. What was I saying? Yeah rabbits can be real scary. Saying no more.
I'm 100% sold on Jeffery Dean Morgan being the "tumor". He's not actually there, nobody else interacts with him, just like Becca Butcher, I also think he would of died just like the bunny, if he hadn't taken the V he stole from frenchie... The temp V tumor bursts out and tears him apart and the V in his system puts him back together, that's why he blacks out, he actually dies. And Hughie's dad showed us that V won't cure a state of illness, just suspend him you in it.
If the host is incapable of feeding the parasite, the parasite leaves the host and tries to latches onto another host while its still alive. The rabbit was dying.
Convinced Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Joe Kessler character is all in Butcher's head and is the "Bad devil" to his ex-wife's "good angel" on his shoulder. Never interacts with anyone but Butcher. Never mentioned by anyone else. Butcher always alone in a 1-2-1 with him when they talk.
Blade 2 Notes - Nyssa wasn't a love interest, just an attractive female character. Tragic ally, not romantic. Making her death the very end of the movie would be giving her a lot more significance than she had to both the story and to Blade as a character. The guy getting stabbed at the end was a payoff for people paying attention. He's a nobody from much earlier in the movie that Blade let run away, saying he'd get him later.
@@Jacobsherman341 so that means that huige was easily able to create a drug that could kill supes in a hospital... Why haven't we been trying to make that drug strong enough to kill homelander or newman???
Love the whole parody bit of how the mcu shoehorns in "diversity" while its actually being the most corporate virtue signalling ever with slightly racist undertones
I think the giving V to the dad also is part of the show telling us that V won't just bring people back to life and heal everything. Like with Butcher and his parasite issue.
We already know that tho cuz Butcher said he took the proper V, and he’s still dying. It doesn’t even seem like it gave him the same powers the temp kept giving him. The people he’s talking to might be a whole new power manifesting, but he’s still dying.
@@Drummer4Presidenthe never said he took proper v. He said he stole some from frenche, how tf would Frenchie have a supply?? It could be something he was experimenting with. Remember homelander had all the v locked up in his house
I mean that theory was all but confirmed when Butcher said "we" this Episode, looked at Kessler and the Doctor he kidnapped had a clear "who tf are you talking to?" look on his face.
hm ok but what about the end of the last episode when Butcher is talking to his imaginary wife asking her "what happened" and shes just got a look of horror so hmm
i don’t think ryan is naturally like homelander. i think he is just a young kid and very impressionable that someone just being nice or feels like caring him, he can be easily influenced. and i think that is how most kids are.
I think Ryan is just like Homelander if Homelander wasn't raised in a lab and screwed with psychologically. Homelander could have turned out to be a good person.
He's using the psychology aspect that Barbara told him about, to convince Ryan that HL is all He needs, and that there's nothing beyond their personal world, it's just more manipulation but the subverted approach. The forceful approach was only driving Ryan away, so now why not let him do what he wants. Being impressionable and wanting to please his peers, He will do what Homelander wants because he's now being made to believe whatever he does is his own choice. That's concerning. And there's obviously an intentional fracture being made between Ryan and Butcher given the point Butcher is at. It's definitely going to get worse before it gets better, but the hope is that it will get better and Ryan detaches himself from his dad. Butcher needs to remind him how HL viewed Ryan in season 2 and what he put his mom through. That might be the saving grace
@@lukaszzylik4437 The issue is what it's teaching Ryan, that he should take pleasure in both controlling people and hurting people as long as they're a 'bad' it's fine now but what happens when Homelander instills in him that any of the people working against Vought are 'bad'
this is a comment I wrote under a IG reel that said that scene showcased Homelander *manipulating* Ryan: can we call it manipulation tho? its too harsh of a word & too soon to tell imo + Homelander might be a monster but after the speech he made about them being free he wouldn't do that to his son right after he broke his own chain, right...? its arguable that "was it direction or exploitation?" but imo things he said were more like suggestions that Ryan took out of the position of love/power/respect/hero that he takes his dad for; this might be more than anything implying that Ryan has a dark side [which was hinted at before at the end of S3] and he enjoys it but I as I said its too soon to tell... some guy said this was a hint of sadism😐
My dad almost died 3 weeks ago. The Hugh Sr. storyline was really rough to sit through. But you’re right about trying to hang on while someone is going. We just can’t comprehend that it takes a lot of strength to “let go” of our loved ones.
I understand the theory that jeffery Dean Morgan's character isn't real, but I do not understand why there are people that think Hughie's mom isn't real.
@@gingerdog8203nah, they are clearly making fun of it. It is silly, get people hyped for things that aren’t even in production. Stop caping for Disney.
@gingerdog8203 yeah I gotcha especially How They did It with there Own Mortal kombat Game For this Series even tho that's just to Reference it but as For this Mcu Parody phase I still Find it As A Funny Diss Joke.😅
@@anonymoushuman8443 I don't think Sage wants to be leader of anything. She's the smartest person on the planet. If she wanted to, she would already be running everything. But instead Homelander found her in a modest apartment surrounded by thousands of books. I don't think Sage has that kind of aspiration.
😭Yeah, It's really sad seeing Frenchie hurting like that. I understand why he is feeling extremely guilty, because he has done truly horrendous disturbing acts (in his past) effecting so many lives. But, what he has done and the things he has been through (trauma)... has shaped who he is. He saved Kimiko because he saw something familiar in her, he took her under his wing. I understand, but he is different now. ahhh
@@riderchallenge4250bc he had it in his hand playing with it when she came in. plus she knows what v is bc everyone does when it leaked and she used to work with vought
@@riderchallenge4250 compound V was literally all over the news dude everybody knows what it is, also she sells stuff for Vought it’s not like she’s clueless. Hughie randomly said he had to leave and then shows back up with a vile of V, it’s not very difficult for her to connect the dots
31:08 To address this, at the end of last episode Hughie has it in his hand still when his mum walks in, then he hurriedly puts it in his pocket. I don't believe that it actually "fell out" I think the mum went looking for it in his pocket and then later said it fell out to cover herself a little. Secondly she knows what it is and how to implement it because in season 2 Hughie and Annie release compound V to the media and it goes worldwide on the news exposing Vaught, so everyone knows what it looks like and knows that it's injected into kids to make them superheroes. She also works for Vaught, we don't know her role but she could know more than she's letting on.
