With this episode I found out I'm emotionally attached to the Purrgil. I teared up so much when I saw them, I would of lost my ever loving shit if I saw a figure of Ezra riding on the back of one OMG. I need the Ahsoka series now, also can we give Greif Karga mad props for turning around the city into a major hyperlane port......I would not have ever thought he had it in him in season 1 and props to him for giving respect to IG-11
Agreed. Almost lost my shit when I saw them too. They keep making all these "Star Wars: Rebels" references. I swear it's just a matter of time before we see "The Ghost" fly in like they did for Slave 1. LOL
When I first saw that silhouette in hyperspace, I had to stop the video and take a few moments to compose myself before I continued. You could tell that Grogu could sense them. After all, he has the same animal-affinity force ability that Ezra has.
My jaw dropped seeing the purrgil, their immense size is so much more clear in live action, it was amazing. I'm glad IG-11 got his due, but justice for Kuiil, my guy needs his own statue.
I’ve said Andor and Mando can exist in the same universe and provide very different flavors of Star Wars, but MAN is an adjustment going from an Emmy-worthy “One way out” to an alien space pirate literally shouting “AVAST!” And “you’re outgunned now!” That said, seeing that custom N1 kick ass was delightful
This show is just pure classic Star Wars fun! Grogu hugging Babu Frick reminded me of my daughter with her first puppy. Adorable. I love this show so much
You're such a doll. No need to be so apologetic about the audio. I'm just happy to watch the reactions of other SW fans. I'm also happy to see more who want Hando to make an appearance . Thank you for sharing this with us.
I impulse bought a stuffed Grogu. We both enjoyed watching the show when it was released at 3:00am. And we both had to watch your reaction to the episode. Cutest, and most entertaining you tube reaction videos that can be found. Thank you.
Fun episode. Loved it when IG-11 went full Terminator on Din. I found it funny that Bo never tried to win the Darksaber back from Din and now she is depressed. The audio sounded ok to me.
I think the detail about the boy Mandalorian not finishing the sentence about not taking off the helmet was a hint that either this theme is still going to play a role and/or that we'll see that boy again, maybe in the end swaying Din to take off the helmet when he wants after all.
It’s been just over 2 years since the last season and it was worth the wait because DIN IS BACK BABY!!! And YOU are back with Mandalorian reactions Louise! You and Blind Wave are my favorite Star Wars reactors.❤️❤️ I love that we are learning more about Mandalorian society, how even though they have been around since before the Jedi they are also incredibly fragmented, and also kind of fickle. They should’ve followed Bo-Katan! She is not only of royal blood but also the best person to lead her people. But unfortunately too many Mandalorians follow different and almost outdated ways. The Children Of The Watch are far too conservative and traditional to look past removing their helmets, no matter the circumstances. For God’s sake he just saved his people from a giant space crocodile and they still shun him. Meanwhile the “regular” Mandalorians are so attached to the myth of a single legendary weapon that even though they know Bo is a worthy leader they still only follow the wielder of the Darksaber. Honestly I think Din should either expand his own clan beyond just him and Grogu or just take up Greef Karga’s offer and be the new marshal of Navarro. On a brighter note, seeing the Purgill aka hyperspace whales was amazing and Grogu hugging the little droid smith was SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTE!!!
"You and Blind Wave are my favourite Star Wars reactors.❤❤" Completely agree :DD Blind Wave is so fun to watch, they're my favourite reaction channel. The purrgil made me shout "THANK YOU DAVE"
Oh I had not even thought about the traveler being Aphra... that's a great pull if it is, and that would also be a FANTASTIC way to introduce her into live action... maybe they can't get IG-11 up and running and SHE'S who he takes with him to explore Mandalore!!
Kalevala is the name of the Finnish national epic, a collection of old myths from Finland that also inspired the Lord of the Rings and other works of Tolkien.
I am calling it now! The water the armorer uses for the forge is water from the mines of mandalore and she has been there after the purge. I think she knows that Din will find something down there that will change the creed. She tries to play it off and Bo-Katan does the same. Both of them are hiding something from Din.
Your literally one of the first channels I check after I've seen something Star Wars. Love your content :) Literally cheered when the purrgil showed up x
Don’t forget your Bad Batch reaction especially as today’s episode brings back another one of your faves from The Clone Wars, who we’ve not seen since 2010.
When he said he wanted a droid to help, I was hoping that he would go back to Peli's on Tatooine and get that little BD droid like Cal's, that helped him build his new ship in Book of Boba, because at least he would be small enough to fit in the ship along with Grogu
Letss gooooo!!! Been waiting for this to came back. The shot of the Purrgil, I honestly wish Ezra was the there too, but it was awesome seeing them. Ngl my favorite scene is the space fight, Mando is the best pilot next to Anakin/Vader. Another awesome reaction as always, now on to the next one. This is the way
Hi Louise, Loved the Episode, And I agree with you, I sure wish it had been longer for an opening episode, since we have waited. The audio from you Came in clear , just fine from this end. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing your videos. 👍❤️
It is such a pleasure to see you react to The Mandalorian once again‼...you are very knowledgeable in everything Star Wars and I enjoy your reaction to the new stuff you see on screen...let's goooooooooo‼
13:23 Grogu: I will name him George and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him Anzellan: I am not a pet Grogu: And pat him and pet him and… Anzellan: You’re hurting me. Put me down please Grogu: And rub him and caress him and… Anzellan: I AIN’T NO PET!!!
fun clone wars easter egg i learned; kalevala the planet where din meets with bo katan in the castle is apparently her and satine's birthplace! makes sense why theres all the house kryze banners
I guess to compensate for the show with Cara Dune's "Out-Excuse" from the series for her actress, we're getting IG-11 back!!!! (albeit a sidenote question that I am bit curious about though is if IG-11 does get restored, how exactly is IG-11 going to fit inside Mando's starfighter??? {Unless there's like a storage trailer he can attach on} Because at least we somewhat do know from the S3 trailer that R5-D4 might be going with Mando too since he was in his ship's droid port). Also, I'm not gonna lie: did anyone else possibly feel a slight "antagonist vibe" off of Bo at that end scene???
I actually found this episode a bit ho-hum up UNTIL the space dogfight with the pirates! Great special effects!!!!! It reminded me of playing the space battle levels in Star Wars Battlefront II (2004, 2005). :)
I've seen S3; E1 twice so far, and about half a million reaction videos. But this was the first time I noticed that the young Children of the Watch initiate didn't get to finish swearing the creed before the creature attacked. I wonder if we will be seeing him again, and whether he is aware of the loophole the incident created. Once nice touch was the way The Armourer shepherded the initiate out of the water when the creature attacked. She is stern, rigid, and uncompromising. And of course, she wanted to protect a new member of her covert. But just at that moment, she seemed very human, and very much a mother. She was like a soccer mom pulling her child out of the path of an oncoming bus.
Scene with the Mandalorians fighting the monster and Grogu looking at purgils in the hyperspace were the highlights for me,great start of the new season :)
That was an induction ceremony for the "children of the watch"..... not Mandalorians writ large. While I "might" be convinced they found IG11's head, it beggars belief his torso survived a Thermal Detonator from inside it.
It was so awesome the episode, when I saw the purgil I was so happy and was shocked and was like foreshaadoooowingg jajajaja it was awesome, grogu is so lovely and the only bad things is that the episode ended, I want more, more I say
I watched this on my laptop no headphones and nothing in the audio stood out as too loud for me. As always I love your unbridled joy and enthusiasm. I agree with you that it was way too short, but after a 2 year wait I think even 2 hours would feel way too short. Here's to another stellar journey!
Grogu's Pod will be built into IG-11 by the end of this season and Din will be using that Pirate's ship to travel....I think he will be traveling with a whole pack of Mandalorians in that ship. That is what I am calling. They will need to modify his ship to fit a IG-droid in the droid port.
Mando is back, the space whales are back, Grogu was in the spinny chair, that Babu Frik look-a-like was Grogu's new pet and/or emergency food. Just waiting for Grogu to become the Mand'alor
Why does almost every reaction channel think that Grogu was trying to eat that Anzellan? It's rare for Grogu to find creatures that are smaller than him, so he thought it was cute and wanted to hug him.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking Hondo was there when they said pirates and I can't wait to see where this pirates story goes maybe din will have to team up with Hondo haha one can hope
I would absolutely kill for Moff Gideon to become a Grogu fanboy and so he wears those Baby Yoda ears. Like, all the time. And no one dares say anything about it.
Great time for Star Wars creatures between the bad batch latest episode... and this episode... purrgil Was done perfectly very ominous ..ezra and thrawn And other Characters will be showing up soon enough.. Definitely a shout out to it
Heeey ! Lovely to see again your reactions to a Mandalorian episode ! It's been a while ! They were some of my favorite reactions on youtube about this series, and they made me discover this whole galaxy of RU-vid shows reactors ! Among them, you're definitely one of the liveliest and most adorable ones. So glad to see you back on this show, and looking forward to rewatch all the coming episodes with you. PS : Loving the new Pedro Pascal cardboard cutout behind you ^^
I bet those familiar with dark empire nearly had a heart attack when the pirate’s ship first came into view (looks a little like a mini-Eclipse dreadnought/Super Star Destroyer)
@LouiseJulie it's been reported that Gina Carrano is going to be reprising her role in the show. The show creators decided to keep her on the show although they didn't say if she was going to be in season 3 at all.
@@haydenhidey8698 the way she said “bye bitch” is in such poor taste to. Like is there an actual reason why she doesn’t like her? Or is she just following all the hate from others to stay relevant
@@aarondavis9993 probably. Just people wanting to keep their careers safe with what they have. What’s funny is no matter what, in the end, the people who cancelled her proved her right with what she said.
Yeah, I heard pirates and my first thought was Hondo as well. And we got some crazy mashup of Swamp Thing and Davy Jones from PotC instead. I liked the show overall, but really seemed more like 30-minute season preview more than a first episode.
If I’m gonna be honest, the feedback on the mic made you kind of sound like Gir from Invader Zim, which was amazing lol I kinda loved it??? Because Gir is one of the greatest characters ever, you’re one of the best reactors to watch. So it’s a great match. Hahaha great vid as always
I'm so excited that Mando Is back, my only gripe is that the music is noticeably worse, it's only episode 1 so I'll keep an open mind but I already miss Ludwig Göransson
When I watched the beginning of the episode I was positive that the first part was a flashback right up until the Naboo Starfighter showed up and killed the creature.
