@@forrestcollins5423 I disagree. It is PAINFULLY obvious who they're making fun of and the parallels. Homelander = Trump. The issue is not that some people don't realize which side - though some may not make the connection at all if they either aren't the smartest or don't want to see it - but it's that some people genuinely agree with Homelander, predominantly Trump supporters. It's insane.
You and OP just teying to make yourselves feel special saying people dont understand this. Its incredibly obvious and the face that youre in youtube commenst, i can promise youre not smarter than most people. Calm down. @forrestcollins5423
@@sugar.magnolia as antony says here tho, homelander is also based somewhat on obama. its criticising capitalism and the liberal democratic system in america -- how it capitulates to power on both sides, whoever has the money. neumans speech in last weeks episode is a perfect example
@@master-of-mind5881 There is always somebody like you, No Shit its called acting, it's how they are able to act so well. Now put away your "Actually it's called" nerd glasses and get a ego boost from the Reddit forums, plenty of you there.
Anthony carried the interview. Inexperienced actor usually blank in the situation like this. Anthony stood up to answer the question, Colby and Chace backup for him.
Y’all like to joke about shit like that until the government actually comes after us and we don’t have our guns lmao. Liberals in a nutshell. Look what they did with Covid.
He is fantastic in the role of Homelander. Probably plays the best psycho I’ve ever seen. He’s definitely one of the best cinematic villains of all time. I really think he deserves an award for this role
@@master-of-mind5881will they though? It’s obviously going to be butcher taking omlander out but remember in s3 finale, mm Showed up to the fight and still didn’t really encounter homie properly. I feel he’ll show up when omlander already dead
27:09 It’s true you have to be really good at acting to be dumber and slow character, and this deep was incredible delivered. Idk why people don’t talk much about his acting.
I really think he's one of the best. Especially considering that Chace started as the classic good looking guy from teen drama and now he accepted to do such a out of the box character in such brilliant way!
I agree. I heard Jeff Daniels say something similar when he played Harry Dunn for Dumb & Dumber. Playing dumb is a lot harder than people might like to think that it is.
Great interview, Josh! The timing of this video coming out couldn't be more interesting w.r.t. seeing the cast talking about where the story is going in season 4 so far. It's always a delight to see the cast from the first season in these interviews because of how well they get along. Was great to finally see Susan and Valorie doing an interview in person. My favourite bit though was Chace's impression of Eric at 20:45 🤣🤣🤣
I will never look at Ashley the same way again after that last episode. That woman is dirty. She did say some horrifying horrible things to poor Hughie LOL!! She was ready to rock that guys world.
Oh shit, no way, only after hearing her name I realized that Firecracker is Kara from Detroit become human!! The dress, the make up, the vibes are sooo different
This was a fun hour. The mid-life crises part 😂😂😂 I'm a few years away but I feel it coming 😅 Really like the new cast members. Susan is so funny in interviews. I like this season more than last season. Episode 6 is my least favorite. Very interested to see what happens next. Worried A-Train isn't going to make it.
I am a bit disappointed that the question around therapy wasn’t asked of the cast lol. They do so many insane things on this show that has never been done before on screen and so I am just curious what the brain does when that happens and how it processes it.😅
At the very beginning Antony said "they didn't really rehearse"... I think this just explained why the season felt different than the first 3 Not talking about the story itself, the filmmaking and story telling somehow doesn't feel cohesive and the pacing is off
Even though I do not like what I see with James Gunn's take on his Superman film, I can see Chase being Hal Jordan/Green Lantern or Oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
It's present in half of his interviews, and not there at all in other interviews. If you see the interviews he did for the Prime Video RU-vid channel, he sounds more or less like he does in the show.
No I get the same thing, especially when doing public speaking. Has something to do with trying to project a strong voice (even while mic'd up). I think Laz is naturally a soft spoken low-tone voice guy
I cant help but wonder what long running tv show Antony was talking about when he mentioned that the ending was shit. It was hardly Banshee, Maybe something else 🤔
