All I can say is, I'm happy I nicknamed my nieces and nephews kiddo. Squirt wasn't even an option for a nickname, and now I will never be able to even hear the word, let alone be around anyone using it as a casual nickname.

18:12 - "How come this is happening to Butcher, but not to Hughie, when Hughie took it as well?" ~ Butcher took more doses of Temp V than Hughie, so he passed the threshold of doses to cause damage, while Hughie stopped just shy of ending up in the same boat.

Yeah I think last season when Starlight stole more V for Kimiko is when she found the notes saying more than 3 doses causes death. Hughie only took 2 I think and Butcher at least 4 doses.

I hate feeling this cuz we know how evil Homelander is but they kind of deserved what they got considering their role in creating Homelander. They needed to face justice not vengeance however, but it is what it is. I myself, would have disappeared a long time ago. 😆Or at least make a run for the elevator in hopes that he lasered my head. I would not have let him humiliate me.

So Homelander's desperation not to disappoint - ingrained into him - is the same thing that tortured Soldier Boy because of His father and made his decision to go ahead and (try) to kill Homelander. Talk about sins of the father.

I watch a ton of reactions to The Boys. I don't know if you're the only one who noticed Firecracker deliberately and intentionally says "young man" to describe a 15-year-old boy, but you're the only one I've seen who said it out loud. Just like many real-life pundits, Firecracker doesn't actually believe most of the crazy things she says. In part because of what Starlight did to her, she has empathy for people who feel they've been treated unfairly, people who are struggling...and if she'll tap into that energy saying whatever nonsense she has to say, no matter how insane or ridiculous. That's why it doesn't matter that her actual superpower is so limited. As she tells Sage in Episode 2, the real reason she's there is to give people purpose, to direct their anger towards Homelander's enemies. For this reason, I think she might actually be rhe worst of all of them. You can argue that people like The Deep are too clueless to know what they're doing. Firecracker knows, in EVERYTHING she does, that she's lying. That she's manipulating, as she does changing "boy" to "young man." She knows that she's committing great harm. She justifies it, but still does it, willing to say or do anything. Whatever it takes. It's so unbelievably gross...and yet, we see people like this all the time in real life. Unfortunately.

It wouldn't do any good to hide from Homelander. He would've been able to see through any solid object except zinc.

If I were those scientists, I would have moved to Europe once he became Homelander, changed my and my family's names. Then lined my house and car with zinc and worn zinc hats. 😅He couldn't find Translucent remember.

@@DakaraJayne FBI is an American network tv series/franchise weekly crime drama with two spinoffs. All 3 shows are over 255 episodes. It's network tv so it's rated G, no nudity, (little) violence, no bad language, no sxl situations. ☹
