I don't even gi e a fuck if they see this spoiler but Homelander clawed through his mother at birth and killed every doctor and nurse who was delivering him as a BABY
the post-ep convo made me subscribe bc y’all are wild. there’s so much nuance that needs to be in the supe convo, like: -supes are made, not born (that anyone currently knows of). if you can feel bad for kimiko, who was forcefully given compound v and then trained to be a terrorist, what does that say about every supe known to exist -being a supe doesn’t quite make you corrupt, but what happens when you raise a kid as a supe, in a world that basically glorifies supes, and then give them access to global power by making them a brand and selling them to do publicity stunts instead of actually saving people -can a supe that’s been corrupted truly and genuinely redeem themselves? i can’t wait for y’all to get more into the series and eventually gen v. such great content ahead!!
Starlight's a supe, but she's not a corrupt supe. That's the one thing I was waiting for somebody to say but never heard it lol 28:50 nevermind lol. She's the only good guy in a company full of shady mf's
the point of Starlight being the only 'gUd' person is so superficial... 1st off, there's no such thing as the concept of 'Good & Evil' as well as any refined abstractions that was derived from Pre-Moderism, such as 'Morality, Corruption' etc. the point of Starlight is supposed to contradict Butcher's faulty generalization (that Butcher also has in the comics), that he's so polarized with.
Thinking that Starlight is a bad guy because she’s a supe is crazy. She’s a supe but she’s a good person trying to do right. It doesn’t matter what organization she’s a part of…especially when you get to see her perspective, you literally have proof that she isn’t doing anything shady. Wth is this guy on about

I love yall end ep convo because at the end of the day it's not black and white. You aren't good because you're normal and you aren't bad Because you're a supe and vice versa . Everything is gray.
After watching this episode, I can see that you guys are officially invested in "The Boys". Because there are only 8 episodes per season, it won't be long for y'all to catch up. Hell, I can't wait to see your reaction to "Gen V", but that's after season 3. Oh yeah, y'all are in for one hell of a ride.
I had the same reaction whe Butcher said what happened to Becca, I'm so used to seeing the big bad guy being "regular" evil (the typical murder, torture, fascism, things like that) and that took me out
