When you realise the translucent story on Jimmy Fallon of him saving a mom & her 2 kids from an intruder was most likely that he was perving on her and just happened to spot the intruder 💀
Billy Butcher is supposed to be from England. East London, specifically. He's played by Karl Urban, who's from New Zealand. Side fact, Homelander's actor Antony Starr is also from New Zealand.

@@l.jboylan6704 Yeah. Just imagine a comment about a stereotype about women instead and what reaction that would get. There's a similar issue with sexist comments towards men. Just look at the shit girls say about certain actors like Pedro Pascal. If you hear guys talk like that about attractive women they immediately get shat on. Speaking of which. What is it with Sam and the poop stuff? She always makes comments when it comes up (In the case of this show even in both episodes). lol (Edit: First three episodes... With some bonus butt related stuff later on. lol) Edit: Funny & relevant the french / deutch flag comment below. Classic US stereotype. haha
@@Dark__ThoughtsI mean this comment section is full of people claiming they are racist/sexist for a vapid joke. I don’t think these girls sincerely hold beliefs that all white men are violent. Why are so many people so quick to play victim like they’ve just been subjected to a violent hate crime because someone made a stupid joke vaguely at their expense.
@@cahan557 A stupid joke would still be stupid. Like I said, reverse the gender roles and imagine the outrage. A guy would've been labeled as sexist / misogynist immediately. It's really not that hard to be a decent human being, so maybe try it sometimes.
Hey now, some of us ...*sigh*...(i hate saying this) straight ,white guys have dealt with a lot of trying, stressful things in life just like everyone else unless you are some rich CEO or celebrity lol, we are all still human, and aren't just levitating above everyone else (I mean...I guess except for Homelander...he literally is I suppose lol) We all as humans have to deal with different levels of life problems, even if we are ,in particular, definitely the super boring default character customization choice in a video game that you change immediately to something cooler when customizing your character🙂 For real though, I'm so glad you all are reacting to this series! Not only does it get better and better, but it pulls no punches and equally goes for everyone no matter your viewpoints, but never putting that above simply telling a good story with good characters
Btw, I was definitely just refering to HUGHIE punching the wall in stress/anger, NOT any of the 7 douchey guys! BIG difference, at least, atm in the story (not that it excuses what we have already seen them do at this point!) 😅
Don’t ever describe your ethnicity as « boring », this is just wrong. Being white isn’t boring, and it’s okay to be white. I’m mixed race but I hate when people have double standards. Learn to love yourself
I like your reactions to this series so far. I was wondering why the Boys audio so low or your mic audio is to loud. I like to see the reactions to it. Hard to do that when I'm reading Closed Captions on the video, instead of being able to hear it while seeing your reactions. Playing the audio at higher volume won't violate copyrights on YT. You just can't play the whole video, movie, without blurring it every 30 seconds or pausing and discussing it.
The whole time I was thinking if their microphones are placed in the right direction. I don't have a Yeti, but I think the dials are suppose to face you. I mean the audio is good. I was just curious if the placement was right.
I hope you guys are spiritually prepared for what's coming in the next episodes and seasons. No doubt the series is a unique take on superheroes and absolutely brilliant, but as the seasons go by, their weirdness and grossness level just keeps on escalating. They show scenes in way too much graphic details and leave nothing to imagination.
this is only the second video I have watched of these guys and I noticed they don't seem to have very nice things to say about white men in both videos... hahaha... I'm assuming they are just super woke and their humor naturally forms an allegory to political views? 15:38 I get really into shows and this scene reminds me of a very unpleasant memory... as a skinny white guy myself hearing your comments overlaid to that memory just rubbed me the wrong way.
Imagine calling people "woke" unironically. It was a funny and topical joke. Sucks you've got some personal trauma that made you uncomfortable, but if a throwaway joke about being a white dude affects you that much, you may want to take a step back from the internet. Also, seems weird to me that you'd be this sensitive knowing what show they are watching and the satire on American politics. If that offended you, how did you even make it through the rest of this show?
@@Nikolis17 I already told you I get really into shows... I don't know about you but I have even already seen "the boys" and I am still watching someone else watch the show.... I don't understand why you are so apposed to getting personally attached to characters or being moved by scenes??? I will really blow your socks off by revealing I have even cried during movies!!! Yes even though it was "just a show relax bro"... The cherry on top his own father calls to remind him what a powerless sensitive little boy he is.... When he started punching the wall, even I chuckled a little bit thinking "ohh buddy that isn't going to help but I get ya,haha, i get ya". These women's reaction to allll that was "wow, look at the little white boy punching the wall, why do they do that?" ummm " it's probably to get their anger out, the world is sooo unfair to white people" hahahaha Why would you even say that?? Everything in this world has been turning against him at this point. Are they watching the same show? Then it clicked they stopped reacting to the show at that point and were reacting to their own comments about white people. What term besides WOKE would you like me to use in the future to describe garbage leftists political talking points that make it embarrassing to share the same space?

I disagree actually, this isn't a show about "if superheros were realistic" it's a show about "if superheroes were owned by a pharmaceutical company". Also before anyone says that superheroes being owned by companies is realistic, I disagree if anything the show: "Invincible" is more along the lines of "if superheros were realistic"

Even if that bullet didn't pierce his skin, that was a 50BMG, which can have as much as 15,000ft/lbs of energy, meaning it definitely would have crushed his bones and organs and killed him immediately on impact. Also, a little bit of water on a car battery wouldn't short it out. Water shorts out delicate electronics, not big car batteries and wires. Which is why your car doesn't die when you drive in the rain.
perhaps they had some sort of spotty voltage regulator off camera? I don't know how electric fences work, can you just clip jumper cables up like that?
@@zacharystephens982 Honestly, no. Nothing about that setup would work at all. The biggest problem is that a car battery is only 12 volts. Not nearly enough to actually shock anybody. You can literally grab both terminals of a car battery and feel nothing. That being said however, you couldn't just hook jumper cables up to a metal cage and connect it to a car battery because that would be what is called a "short to ground" which would almost immediately melt either the bars of the cage or the wires, whichever is thinner, and possibly cause the battery to go bad, melt, burst into flame, or explode. A typical electric fence such as around a pasture containing farm animals, is between 2,000 and 10,000 volts, which isn't enough to really contain somebody determined to break out. It just provides a very annoying and slightly painful shock. You could MAYBE use a combination of a transformer (to increase the voltage while reducing the amperage) and a resistor (to burn off excess power to prevent the wires from melting) allowing the use of a car battery to rig an electric cage, but neither of those components would be damaged by splashing water either. But then that brings us to the last problem. The cage is grounded to the battery, meaning even if you touched it, the electricity would not flow through you because you do not provide a path to ground. Your body touching the cage doesn't complete any circuits, and without a complete circuit, electricity does not flow. So the reality is that literally everything about that scene was complete bullshit and would not have worked. And all they needed to do was call just one electrician to ask them how to make it all work.
@@KurNorock hahaha your the best!!! I had my suspicions about the whole thing. His conductive skin being a strong enough weakness to cause complete unconsciousness with what looked like a cattle prod in one scene. Yet they were unable to produce enough current to stop his heart or fry his brain/nervous system but otherwise stopped him dead?? convenient biological cirit breaker he had, lol.
@@zacharystephens982 Yeah. And to be even more accurate, he definitely should have been killed or severely injured when Butcher hit him with the car in the first place. The show makes it very clear that his organs, bones, and internal tissues aren't any more durable than anybody else's. The impact of the car would have shattered his legs and flying through the air and hitting the back wall would have probably killed him.

"What is it with skinny white guys punching holes in walls?" Because low testosterone men with a "feminine side" who are sensitive and show their emotions are the most out of control and dangerous men there are. There is a very good reason that men are taught to control their emotions and be stoic. A stoic man is a good man.
@@alexfilma16 Those are the words of women who have no idea what it is like to be men. They only know their own experiences and assume men are the exact same. They feel better after spending 2 hours crying into a bowl of Ben and Jerry's, so they assume men should do the same thing. Which is not true. Also, I never said men should "bottle up" their emotions. I said men should CONTROL their emotions. That means that you should feel them, understand them, take what you need from them, but never allow them to control you. Never allow your emotions to dictate your speech or your behavior. If you aren't in control of your emotions, then your emotions are in control of you. And a man who's emotions control him is a man who will rape, assault, murder, and destroy. Have you never noticed that most men who commit sexual assault on women also consider themselves feminists? It's those sensitive soy-boys you have to watch out for.
Showing emotion isn’t someone being out of control. Almost everyone on the planet has to regularly show their emotions if they want to have good mental health. Unfortunately society teaching men to hold in their emotions no matter what seems to be a factor in their higher suicide rate later in life.
@@azazelop5223 "Almost everyone on the planet has to regularly show their emotions if they want to have good mental health." Wrong. That is a lie spread by feminist propagandists for the purposes of demonizing masculinity. They are tearing down everything it means to be a man. and the result is the society of weak, soft, "sensitive" men we have now. the real cause of men committing suicide later in life is living a life with no purpose. Men are providers and protectors. We work and compete and are driven to do so for the sake of others, namely our wife and children. But again, due to the impact of feminism on modern society, more men than ever before are not having kids. We aren't getting married. We've been feminized while women have been masculinized. We are just becoming materialistic coomers that sit in our homes playing video games and watching porn. And when we reach 40-50 years old or so we realize we have wasted our lives and we are leaving nothing of ourselves for the next generation. The video games aren't fun anymore and there is no pleasure in porn either. We lose our will to live because nobody needs or wants us around anymore. So we just end it. Because there is no point anymore. Then there are the men who do get married and have kids. But then are blind sided by a divorce, where the women they were so in love with takes everything from them. Their home, their kids, their money, their car, everything. Leaving the man with nothing. And now that he's lost everything and is too old to start over and knows there is nobody out there to help him, he ends it all. Because he doesn't see the point anymore. THAT is why men commit suicide. Not because they are "bottling up their emotions". Men have always done that. Stoicism isn't new. It is older than history and is absolutely necessary.
