Its almost weird how Homelander cared about Black Noir enough to make sure his legacy is represented correctly. If anyone has noticed that among the items of Homelanders Personal Shrine is Black Noir's Blade from the end of season 3.
If you saw the animated shorts, Black Noir was the one who helped teach Homelander how to cover up colossal fuckups. Homelander accidentally killed a criminal and then things escalated, resulting in Homelander murdering literally everyone, including innocent hostages he was supposed to rescue. Noir instructed him to tell the press that the criminals had suicide vests.
@@jancarlosmanon4556yeah but after his father called him a disappointment and tried to murder him along with his son he definitely wished he had just imprisoned noir instead
@@JohnWall-lj1mx Not once have we ever seen Homelander regret one of his murders. In his mind, he is both right and righteous. It’s nice headcanon to think about, but it’s simply false.
@@immuneimmunity9212 he seemed pretty broken up about noir not long after killing him although at that point he thought it was the right thing to do since he wanted to team up with his father but that failed so he basically killed his only friend for nothing
phew, was worried when i didn't see black noir make any public appearances for a bit, but i can see he's back with more energy than ever before! it would've been a _real_ gut-punch if he disappeared for good.
@@Lorric101Well, you gotta remember, the man's been in this business since the 70s. Few people have the guts to stay this long in such a dangerous job, yknow?
Anyone else find it funny that in Gen V, Marie wanted to be the first black woman in the Seven, and Homelander gives that to Sage who doesn’t even want it?
Almost as funny as them making a big fuss about how A-train was the first black man on the Seven, when Noir has been there for years. Dude must have felt so frustrated
@@Xylarxcodeto be fair, Black Noir has never revealed his face to anyone so they didn’t know what his race is. And the comics version of Black Noir is white due to being a Homelander clone
@@kakashi-yu7ok Yeap I’m thinking the same thing make him appear weak and goofy meanwhile he probably has homelander and soldiers boys dna or power level
Well they don't need physical strength. Homelander can mess up any other two or three supes at the same time, especially after Maeve got taken out of the picture. Soldier Boy is the only one anywhere near him in terms of physical prowess. So yeah, psychological warfare is more important for The Seven because the only way they're beating Homelander is if the entire world turns against him, every supe and every military.
@@albedo9617 basically it turns out the black noir was a evil clone of homelander the entire time and ends up being the finale big bad of the series. Now they obviously went a different direction with him in the show, but it can still happen in execution.
@@officertenpenny6169New 52 Billy Batson. 😑 The actual Captain Marvel of Fawcett Comics happens to be a boy/young man whose perseverance is what got him chosen by the wizard SHAZAM to become "Earth's Mightiest Mortal".
And what is exactly the gain.. from this little 'investment'? Supes taking over the world? How's that even possible? Her getting into a position of power using Homelander (Which is a stupid enough bet on it's own) when with her smarts she could've been in a far better position? Why make enemy of one of the most powerful if not THE most power individual in the world backed by a trillion/billion dollar company? Vought would absolutely destroy her regardless of how smart she is. They control too much. They're almost cartoonishly evil and powerful. Seriously, there's 0 reason to believe your assumption. If she decides to play Homelander, she's dead. If she tries to fuck over Vought, she's dead. If she tries to make some sort of Supe Coup, she's dead since she lacks a whole lot of durability (as evidenced by her literally poking around in her brain). Homelander isn't the type to rule the world with anyone that isn't his blood neither I assume, and he definitely doesn't care about his blood in the first place (he puts himself over Ryan all the time.) So maybe he'd even kill off Ryan if he felt like it. You're stretching the show's writers' skills.
Nobody on team Homelander wondering why the Seven are adding a walking sparkler to their team? Sage, I kinda get. Adding the world's smartest person to the team is marketable. They can work that angle. But Firecracker? Her powers are pitiful. I mean, yea, I know the behind the scenes reason for why she's there, but the public wouldn't know that. There's way cooler, stronger and more marketable heroes out there.
Firecracker is seriously A firecracker ❣️ _also her rage over starlight is completely justified lol_ I'm not saying Be Vindictive in life but considering the mindset of the show and it's characters , it is fair
You were crying about the show being too woke in another post and now you post this? Which one is it? It’s kind of funny because the show literally parodies the woke vs woke anti culture. You’re both just doing it for attention lmao
If this season is proving anything so far its that the supes dont need to have amazingly strong powers to win over a crowd and be dangerous. One is just insanely smart and can pretty much make anyone (including Homelander it looks like) do as she says. The other one is just crazy and goes on crazy rants that gets the crowd going. These two newbies are going to be dangerous this season.
Kinda weird that this season The Seven and whatever they're up to is more interesting than the Boys. Sage, Firecracker, and New Noir are great additions to the show
Homelander has hard carried this show since the first few episodes of season 1. It's just that his burden has grown heavier over time, but he was always the hard carry.
Sage is a complete and utter idiot, or is suicidal, for getting herself involved with a psycopath who has emotional controll issues like Highlander. She can be unalived just like any Normie. Laser her thru the heart, she is dead. Smartest person in the world? I don't see it, not one bit.
The Deep is generally a sleazebag, but, weirdly, I still feel sorry for the guy sometimes. As of this season, I think he'd honestly just like to retreat to the ocean with his octopus love interest and stay there. And Sister Sage knows he's easily manipulated and is running him around like a puppet for her own hidden motives. He's probably going to die horribly when Homelander finally can't stand his sycophancy any longer, but I wouldn't mind seeing him head out to the ocean for good like Kanye in "South Park." 😂
Wait, so Homelander was able to find Two new members but he can't find 1 extra member Is it just me or tjis gag of the Seven only having 1 or 2 less members is getting old
@@abdulmoid267 Right but like Ryan isn't gonna be a member until he's grown up!! Like he doesn't even bother to find like a third member to join at all
Man, wouldn't it be crazy if the "new" Black Noir was actually the comic Black Noir? And Edgar had some secret ties in Vought to put comic noir as a replacement?
@@tomgu2285He can. I don't think he ever says anything about Earving's (or Noir 1) messed up face, but he probably never questioned it since he was very effective. If they decided to do the comic Noir storyline or make Sam the new Noir, it wouldn't take long for Homelander to grow suspicious if they were wearing a zinc lined mask
Nah They don't want to make a Marvel universe where you are FORCED to watch the spin off to understand the main thing, Gen V is more of an "extra product"
@@tomgu2285 The only thing about Gen V is the virus guys, That they can simply say "it's a virus made with experiments at Godolkin" and it's over, but bringing a Gen V character to the boys will force you to watch Gen V to learn about the character's entire development. are two completely different situations, just think.
Homelander’s suit looks better this season. I quite like it. It looked cheap in Season 3, now it looks more like an actual superhero suit like the DCEU Superman suit.
The show does heavy parodies of Donald Trump. In manny of his political rallies he uses famous rock songs to further his images, from guns n' roses, The Beatles, Everlast, Elton John etc... even though many of them are opposed to his views and have asked him to stop on multiple ocassions.
I feel like the original seven was as bootleg as it could've gotten. Homelander bootleg superman, Maeve bootleg wonder woman, a train bootleg flash, deep bootleg aquaman, black noir bootleg batman, starlight bootleg stargirl. Translucent is probably the only one that was not a bootleg of any specific character or at least not any that i know of
@@thelegendhimself. they're parodies of mostly DC heroes. And yes, obv. they aren't as extreme power-wise. That's clearly intentional, because how the fuck would the Boys have the slightest chance against Flash or Superman? A-Train and Homelander are overwhelming enough as it is. People so annoying with the power-scaling BS. I'm glad the heroes have firmer limits. Feels more grounded.
Coming from Gen V these first Episodes feel like Cringe Excrement. Only Anthony Starr keeps carrying all the Dead Weight as much as i like Karl Urban. I guess it's the End for this Show, the writing is so Bad now. They have to use the Token Black Woman Card already to barely stay alive. I saw it coming but still 😂😂😂. It's just Cringe Political Propaganda now. Sorry Dear Clowns, it won't survive even if you put 5000 Forced Interracial Trans and Gay Relationships. You finally lost it like the Rings of Power Crew. I would fire all the People involved and End this if i was in Charge but i guess you are Contracted into your Doom.
Sister Sage is the most intelligent human on Earth guiding homelander to conquering America and genociding humans. Firecracker is irrelevant powerwise but shes there to get rid of Starlight
Sage might pull a Madelyn stilwell from the comics and pin some major shit on homelander or newman i doubt they added her to the show to be another pawn for homelander to use she is definitely playing at homelander appeal especially with the put a supe in every city and make them in charge i highly doubt she cares about supes being superior to regular humans and the whole thing homelander has going on and the way they showed genz cast in the room with homelander and a part where Ashley says this isn't good Ashley its probably after sage did a double crossing and homelander is using the gen v cast as the new replacement for sage and who ever else of the seven dies to reek havoc im gonna guess sage ether forces homelander hand to use fear instead of being loved because she runs his name through the dirt i dont see homelander wanting to work/ use that super strong guy with mental issues from gen z as anything other than a means of destruction or that mind controlling girl may be there to keep his mind in check to replace noir and take on his persona
