Favorite moment was the WTF when the CIA Director's head exploded, with so far no real explanation. A Close second was Homelander pushing his kid off the roof. That was funny as hell. Least favorite was realizing I can't binge the whole series over a 3 day Weekend.

I'm genuinely so emotionally invested already. Season 2 is off to a flyer honestly, really dug the Hughie and Butcher story that concluded so well. Also loved how so much of the first 3 episodes was purely character work. Almost like the act 1 of a story wrapping up. Incredibly hyped for what's coming.

At 4:37 its not actually Vought merch but knockoffs if you look closely you would see that Homelander is spelled Homedefender during the warehouse scene. Funnily enough the problem of knockoffs was a talking point in the meeting of The Seven in the first episode of the first season of the boys, so I guess they paid that off.

interesting take that I laughed at a bit was just before Stormfront kills Kimiko's brother, she breaks his hands and tells him, "Now you can't do your magic hand thingy." A slight nod to the fact that Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon in Mandalorian) is in this season, it felt like a callback to Mandalorian in some way.

I just love everything about this show. The length of episodes give enough time for relaxed moments and more content. The lighting and framing of the shots are done so well, especially the shots of the characters watching other characters on tv or phones. The premise is just so damn good and really gets the whole “what if superhero’s were real” right. The CGI is actually really good and is mixed with practical effects. Every character has a personality, their own morals, their own arc, and their own goals. The title card is badass. The vought parodies are hilarious and are great corporate satire. Great social commentary on corporate pandering, bad parenting, religion, big pharma, MeToo. Every character both good and bad has their own opinions on those subjects and makes them seem 3 dimensional and real.

The funniest part on the show by far is when The 7 arrived at the shore and saw The Deep. Then Black Noir acts like the dying of the whale was tragic and placed his hand over this heart!!!😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂

Regarding the Fresca.. there was a bizarre SNL skit called Dieter's Dream from the 90's where a character offers another character a Fresca. This episode made me laugh SO HARD because it reminded me of this sketch. It was an episode with Miranda Richardson. Worth watching if you can find it!

Did anyone notice the Office reference? When homelander was drinking breast milk. She said "2006 want their office back" Homelander : "i like that show" "Yeah me too"
