I freaking LOVE A-Trains' redemption arc. Sister Sage...She, freaking rocks!... She's orchestrating everything. Do you think M.M. putting a bullet in her head wasn't by her design?
Honestly, I have a feeling the final moments of the season will show the superhero virus getting released. Season 5 will show the all-out war between supes and humans and also dealing with the virus. What would be interesting is if the virus can infect regular humans without causing any symptoms and then having them transmit the virus to supes. And yes, this will be the unstable strain that can mutate and go airborne. The final season is gonna be EPIC! Also, I hope we get some kind of "We are VENOM" moment from Butcher. I have a feeling that dose of Compound V he took somehow mutated a parasite that's living inside him, and that's what's been appearing as hallucinations in an effort to communicate with Butcher. 😁
@@GeoD007 We all have those so-called "Angles" on our shoulders. One says: "Do it!"...The other one says: "Think it through, it's more about your heart than your head"
@@Giarcnek yes, true. But Butcher's proven himself to succumb to his inner demons time and time again. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he had some sort of "redemption arc". 🤔
I was wondering if the story she told Newman was even true or if she was just saying the right thing at the right time. She isn't there because of some ideal. She is there because Homelander recruited her. She is only looking out for her own survival and is playing a dangerous game.
I don’t think she’s working with Edgar. When Homelander recruited her, it was quite random so I don’t Edgar could’ve established an alliance beforehand
This actually makes alot of sense. I have been wondering for the longest what Sages true goals are. I thought she was just setting up Homelander but that monologue in the last episode has me second guessing
He needs his power if he loses them he will lose his mind his insecurities and mental issues are too bad for him to handle if he loses his powers. He can't live without his powers.
*Madelyn Stillwell, season 1* *Rebecca Butcher, season 2* *Black Noir, season 3* *They all died in episode 8.....* *A-train's "Redemption arc" is beautiful to see, but it came full circle when Hughie forgave him, and shook his hand. That arc is now over, which means he will probably be killed off. If not, episode 7, then definitely in episode 8*
Butcher's parasite ate all the V he tried to take, and it's going to become a *MUCH* stronger version of the dead bunny's parasite. Probably take over for Butcher when he dies just so it can stay alive. Expecting to see his "Venom" transformation in the season finale as a cliffhanger to the final season.
I feel like we are missing something. The parasite seems intelligent. Why would it want something made that could kill it. Unless maybe it wants it created so it will give Butcher the ability to depower or kill Supers.
The craziest part is when the two hallucinations started arguing with each other. Never seen a scene like that! And it creeped butcher out. There may be two entities inside of Butcher!
I freaking LOVE A-Trains' redemption arc. Sister Sage...She, freaking rocks!... She's orchestrating everything. Do you think M.M. putting a bullet in her head wasn't by her design?
I watched the latest ep last night and just when u think HL cant be any nore fucked up .He starts breastfeeding from Firecracker. MY mate walked in and said "WTF ARE YOU WATCHING "
Yes, but he saved him in private he had never saved anyone in front of a crowd and now he did and he got to see peoples genuine reactions to it Because all of his other missions were fake but now that the crowd knows Homelander might catch wind that a train left the party
Poor Sage, I suspect that she was smart enough to know Homelander is Captain Ahab beckoning the other supers to their doom. When he walked through her door she knew that it's game over for her. Refuse and Homelander would have killed her, (she's too dangerous and would be used against him). Work with him but his mental instability would lead to her death. So at this point she's just in damage control, trying to spin the best result with a losing hand.
I have a theory that Butcher will inject Firecracker with the virus and the final shot of Homelander will be drinking her milk which will how he will he infected without starting a pandemic So basically then both Homelander and Butcher will be terminally ill
Poetic. Especially because breast milk fetish is Homelanders psyche weakness more so than (or maybe the stem of) his need for love/adoration/approval by the population.
that's the thing, starlight can blind them, or A-train running beyond they're sight and he will be invisible to them, and inject them with the virus, its over
@@ultimatepepsi starlight knows cause remember she specifically asked tech night about sage, hughie overheard Sage in episode 3, and she manipulated the protest, and she can probably figure out that sage gave firecracker the info
My only legit question about this is if they were to kill atrain, how would they go about doing so. Realistically hes faster than anyone, he could always just run to Rio and hide
Is Homelander faster? Like Superman v the Flash. Also, what happened to the faster guy from a few seasons ago, the whole race or be kicked out of the 7 storyline. Was he killed? Honestly can't remember.
I feel if he is going to die it will be in the last episode. We’ll see but I can’t see them killing such an integral character in the second to last episode.
Nobody is bringing up the fact that Firecracker knew about breastmilk fetish that Homelander has? I don't think anyone knows about that except A-Train, and he only knows he got "milk" hidden away.
@@omardalki7037 The bottles were hidden behind a fake row of books in a refrigerated drawer, next to the Compound V stash drawer. A-Train didn't know where to find the stash was until he heard the compressor on the refrigerator clicked on. Nobody knows about the Breastmilk before that scene except the viewers.
Well Sage knows it before A-train searched Homelander room , he screamed that to Ashley, so I think that’s not well hidden. Firecracker is obsessed with Homelander, it shouldn’t be hard for her to find out
Butcher will get Sameer to make the virus?? Wasn't there a whole scene explaining why he will never do that? It would lead to Zoe's death, which he won't do. Didn't they include that whole scene to show that Butcher has no leverage over Sameer bc nothing Butcher could do would be worse than what the virus would do?
No, when it reaches the strength to kill homelander, it would become airborne and contagious, which would kill zoe. Eitherway Zoe needs to die to atone for her sins. Same with Neumann. Eye for an eye type shit. Shes not even like A-train where she can get a redemption ark
@@kernapod7724 Any kid that brutally murders 2 people in cold blood without even questioning their intentions doesn't get the luxury of being considered a kid.
I think inflicted pain can break a man's will... OR I can imagine Butcher kidnapping Zoe as well and that he will kill Zoe in front of Sameer if he's not making the virus.
"Assassination Run" could also refer to an attempt on Homelander's life involving A-Train, though this would also likely result in his death. The most obvious theory is that he delivers a dose of the virus to Homelander and dies in the process - a) because "assassination" usually refers to a high-value target being taken out and b) because that would be the ultimate act of heroism and makes sense with how much A-Train has gotten involved with the Boys. Either way, the virus will 100% get out.
Hughie's dad kills so many innocent people but the boys didn't even care about that. It just felt off. The entire Hughie's mom and dad arc was pointless
They didn't have to care about it cause by the time the time the rest of the boys eould have found out about it Hughie had already taken care of it. Or do you mean why weren't they more mad at Hughie for giving his dad compound V? To that I'd guess after everything all the boys have done by this time, and all the people they've lost, they can understand giving your dying father a shot of V in an act of desperation. And Hughie seems to have certainly learned his lesson, and is suffering enough. Plus at this point the boys need to keep the collapsing crew together any way they can.
I agree. Hughies actor is also a little off this season more so than the others. Also the lack of focus on how hughie is dealing with the traumas he’s facing throughout the season so far is genuinely jarring.
i hope there's plans within plans with sister sage as she is supposed to be the mastermind behind the plottings. it would be interesting to see what she brings to the table to mess things up for everyone
“Like Caesar” who was killed by his rumored son Brutus, it seems Ryan will kill Homelander. Unless he has another son..or clone…did Noir say “they let me fly”? If so that might be a hint he is a Homelander clone…
a clone is an artificial being created with the Dna of another one. it will hardly resemble the likeness of its DNA donor. if that's the case, they call it a "perfect" clone
She is very likely just bringing the extremist supes to publicly act on their true intentions so that there can be an actual war to destroy them. Similar to the current state of politics...we all know one party would love to outright publicly declare total control over the nation and dominate as a fascist regime, but they cannot be stopped unless they declare their true intentions finally and initiate plans of attack.
The whole season was leaked on tiktok before any episodes dropped and it’s all been correct so far, I don’t recommend you go looking for it, but we are in for one hell of a season
No, the virus is never gonna be perfected, and wont kill homelander, but will be enough to permanently depower him. Then he has to live out the rest of his life as a normal person
The one thing I’m surprised I haven’t heard anybody else say is that firecracker definitely has more powers. I think her snap does something. I honestly want to go back and rewatch what happens in the bit after every time she snaps. Because I swear she has some kind of control over peoples emotions… or something like that. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Even when people ask her about her power, she never says, “oh, I just have a little spark that does nothing”… she snaps instead… And says nothing… So maybe she’s showing them without them realizing it… I could be wrong and it could just be not the best writing when it comes to her character being used as kind of a magical plot device… But I also feel like whenever there’s a character that “doesn’t have powers” they always end up having powers 😂 they didn’t tell anyone about or have a power they didn’t know they have (That is really strong). And she seems to be forgiven easily, famous overnight, believed att, able to make ppl super emotional… Idk… I feel like there’s… Something… With her. But again, I would be equally unsurprised if she just doesn’t have any powers at all besides the little spark, as they’ve shown us.
I swear im telling yall A-train isnt dieing, queen maeve and black noir got a second chance why shouldn't he? The way is see the final episode going down is Atrain fighting homelander then surviving being at the point of death then the boys crew step in the back him up.
This is the goodbye episode for A train. Sad for him as his arc is all done. How becoming bad in the first episode to becoming a true hero when he saves mm and the boy looks. It is going to be end for him.
So...in other words...the same as last season, i.e. they have a solution to the problem but instead of taking it, some terrible choice must be made (oh surprise the son again) and the one to change nothing will be selected. Oh an another mole. Action was fun but the writers are in circle jerk.
I’m calling it now Soldier Boy is gonna get a redemption arc & be a main protagonist in Season 5. It’s obvious at this point that as Butcher descends into Madness that he’s going to give in to the Joe Kessler voice in his head & try and kill all Supes. I truly believe that both he & Homelander will be the major Antagonists of Season 5. Once Hughie & Starlight find out about Butchers Plan they are obviously gonna turn on him & become the major protagonists of Season 5. But let’s be real Hughie & Starlight are not strong enough to take down Homelander or Butcher (especially if the Parasite ends up giving Butcher his V Powers back), they will need to team up with someone more powerful and there’s only one character both strong enough to take on Homelander & Butcher & likable enough to where a redemption arc would make sense. It’s Soldier Boy.
Butcher has a special case. As we know, using V on terminally ill people will cause them to go crazy just like Hughie’s dad. But Butcher is terminally ill because the temporary V in his system is rotting his brain. When he took regular V, that gave his brain the defenses it needs to survive a bit longer but it also had a strange interaction to where he has powers he has no control over and he is still losing his humanity
Holy shit, you are on to something! Sister Sgae did taunt MM knowing that doesn't know that a shot to her brain won't kill her, so shw could have very well planned the following events.
A-Trains not Dying. It would be *slow* for the writers to kill off ONE of the only Speedsters on the planet in this universe, especially one whom is growing a valuable heart. The writers are very well aware of the power they hold to trick you all and let him *run away* Just ONCE more ;)
YES!! I see comments saying “Atrain needs to pay for his actions”😂😂😂 like wtf are these people dumb, HIS CHANGE OF HEART is his REBIRTH that’s why he isn’t being punished!!!
As much as I think A Train is going to die, perhaps heroically or perhaps very brutally and publicly as a statement... I think he may be saved or fight to escape, or perhaps Maeve will show up to save him or the boys, and she will be very brutally killed like in the comics. Not sure what will happen, but glad to see things are different than the comics so far. Really hoping for a reveal that Stormfront was his mother, and she returns to some capacity. Idk what they'll do with so many players off the field, like Soldier Boy. Maybe he returns, but idk. Very hard to predict things at this point.
One thing which would tie it all up nicely if they make the Anti-Supe virus change into an anti-V virus making the supes human again, which could be a way for a happy ending for several characters. Ofc that would mean no more spin-offs unless they show something or someone to reinvent the wheel by making pink-V or something and having the next show be called "The Girls" xD (you know blue for boys and pink for girls)
One thing being missed: Sage + Tek were having conversations privately. I believe she told Tek about the Boys, Webweaver was a plant, and the Butler was a part of it.
Yes, that one scene, where the boy smiles at ATrain....and restores hope in ATrain, that was the bright ray of hope in the very dark episode. I love ATrain's redemption arc, but I fear the cynical writing staff will crater it.
Ok, listen to my theories 1)Neuman dies at the hands of Butcher. he rips her off in two, hughie begs him to not do it, still does it nonetheless 2)Butcher's Cancer has become an entity like Sun-Hee from The boys diabolical 3)There is an imposter starlight 4)The supes kill everyone at the vought tower 5)Frenchie and Kimiko get subdued by Cate and Sam, Love sausage gets hold of M.M 6)Kessler and Butcher drives towards the sunset
her brain heals. she knew it wouldn't kill her unless he shot her in the body, they weren't aware of that info. im just surprised homelander didnt clue in on the bullet hole in her skull and her telling him she had brain damage
i actually think she did not get that much damage, but needed HL to beleive she did. She wanted Neuman to do the speach to the billonaires. Look at how she nods at Neuman at the end, she approved how now Neuman is the leader of the coup.
Two things you missed 1. Kimiko constantly trying to reach Frenchie 2. Hughie getting the spider man treatment 3. MM getting a panic attack and a half.
They’re tryna just make the hero’s look as bad as possible in the worst way like how the comics did “oh shit look the superhero actually has a bdsm sex dungeon where he grapes people” it’s a cheap way of making them look bad for shock value I still love this show though
The only investment I have with this show is seeing what happens to Butcher Homelander, Ryan and Atrain. Most of the supporting characters especially StarLight and Hughie even MM can die for all I care.
I think sage knows but because of her knowing A-Train I think she kinda feels a connection between the two and doesnt really want to along with the fact that she's starting to be turned on by homelander with firecracker and the *scene*
I feel like the only reason they mentioned that black noir can fly is so they can setup a joke where he try’s to fly and immediately kills himself by flying into a plane or something
Possible plot hole. How did Firecracker know about Homelanders milk fetish? Thats not public knowledge within the world of the show, or did i miss a scene somewhere?
Homelander seems extremely careless with security. No cameras or alarms and he never at all realized or even suspected a train and Ashley being in his room nor that a vial of v went missing. I imagine firecracker must’ve found the milk glasses while snooping for a way to get on his good side
Really don't want to see them kill off A-Train. His lowkey underdog story to become a real hero has been one of my favorite plots this season. Would love to see him flip sides.
1 thing I can’t quite wrap my head around with this show is why is homelander so pick and choose with who he kills? Why hasn’t he just decided to kill butcher or any of the boys yet? They continue to pose a huge threat to him when he could easily take them out. Is it because he wants to see them suffer maybe? I don’t get it
I think it's because they're the only ones who stand up to him and I'm guessing he respects that in his own weird way. He did try to kill Hughie at the Vought on Ice arena, he knows Butcher is dying anyway and is worried it will turn Ryan away from him if he kills him. He hasn't killed starlight because I imagine he knows that will mess up his plans of being liked and wanting to come out looking superior. As for MM, frenchie etc I doubt he cares but this might also turn Ryan away from him.
Firecracker has Homelander wrapped around her fingers. Firecracker will call the shots behind the scenes for sure. But in last episode the squirting milk scene was epic and Homelanders reaction was pure happiness. And Anthony Star totally made that scene like I can't think of any other actor that would have nailed that scene like he did.
What if Stan Edgar is a supe with similar powers to her and she is his actual daughter? In that case sage's grandma could be Stan's mother, giving both of them the same motive for whatever Sage is about to do. Stan adopting and instrumentalizing a very powerful supe and taking care of Vought until Sage steps in would also make sense, as Sage is intelligent enough to be independent at a young age. Her understanding that they'll have to split up to stay undercover would also just fit her character. That way almost everything that has happened could have been part of their grand plan like -Homelanders turn against humanity (+everything that caused it) -Starlight being brought into the Seven since they knew, her worldview would cause a political rift -Having Soldier Boy captured only for him to return and cause panic -Homelander being created right after to influence him form the start -Vicky betraying Stan, for him to be off the map (after that Stan an Sage could've communicated with 0 eyes on them) -Vicky setting him free this season I could go on and on, the more I think of it the more sense it makes
I don’t watch television much like to get out but Antony Starr has made me watch tv so much more. The way he portrays homelander is brilliant best villain in television history.
Anyone else think noir is a lot more like the comic books? What is his powers exactly? It wouldn’t surprise me if it was something like superpower copying ability. He can fly and besides Homelander, Ryan and a now starlight(kind of lol), who else can fly?
I know there are death flags for A-Train but I'm thinking he'll defect to The Boys fully and end up turning himself in for all his crimes at the end of the series.
A-Train, Starlight, and Queen Maeve were the only members of The Seven who are shown having a tough relationship with a family member or someone who isn’t a supe because of Vought or what Homelander is making them do. Starlight and Queen Maeve were able to make it out alive.
Seeing the kid react to A train made everything leading up to this worth it. Good redemption arc even if it’s slightly ham fisted. Flash was the only justice league hero who couldn’t turn evil, so seeing A train be the one to find moral salvation is perfect.
i am getting the feeling that if butcher goes with joe kessler’s plan on spreading the contagious virus to kill homelander then once the rest of the boys member find’s out the nefarious plan’s of butcher they gonna turn on him in the next season, homelander along with butcher would be a great threat as the parasite might turn into venom style symbiote and potentially driving butcher to madness and thus soldier boy could be the main protaganist while butcher and homelander are antagonist, this plot make’s sense as the whole parasite thing has been in season 4.
I had this odd idea when Firecracker actually lied about Starlight that if she finds herself feeling like a tool still, like that no one cares if she has a minor heart issue, that by the time that happens, news of the virus leaks. And she goes to Annie or any of the Boys and volunteers to help them because if I take what Gen V said about the virus, they may think it needs to be airborne but it might be transmissible through breast milk. The reason I doubt it would be Annie is I think she and Hughie, as kind of the face of the opposition, make a big show of leaving the country (maybe just going to hide at Daphne's) for some time out. This would coincide with MM needing to dial back, Frenchie likely being released because I can't believe the CIA would let him stay there, but the Boys being kind of scattered just as A Train needs them.
id find the potential idea hilarious how, like the cure for cancer being something humanity cant figure out....what if homelanders invincibility is something she already has solved for most of this season? Like what if Sister Sage already has some super easy fix to cure "the homeander problem", and no one just bothered to ask her for help in it. Even funnier if she ends up killing him with some super simple method and makes it look effortless.
It seems to me like Sister Sage concluded that the only way to survive once Homelander paid her a visit was to get on his good side. She's been smart enough to set multi-layered traps this whole time, but that alone makes me question: if she's that in control, then why did her plan to give the Boys bad info in order to trap them fail? I think Sage has been giving Homelander just enough that he comes to trust her but she's made the calculation that if he wins the world is in danger. My wildest theory is that she knew from the second she joined The Seven that she would be eventually doomed. So I think her last act might be to clear A-Train's name because she knows that his help might be key in stopping Homelander.
I like this theory. With how Sage embarrassed homelander at Tek Knights house and Firecracker suggesting Sage lied to him there's definitely going to be a major shift between the 2. I'm sure Sage will know her time will be limited and therefore decide to protect A-Train (If her intentions are to go against homelander)
@@Random_Dude_01 I hope I'm right, but I also ran across a completely different theory that A-Train will be accidentally exposed by the boy who saw him save MM. The idea is that the little boy will make a big deal out of A-Train saving someone and that Homelander will piece together that it's MM and figure out that A-Train has been flipped. I'm just hoping he survives to Season 5 and becomes part of the final fight. His arc has been so freakin' good this season and I think it would be a shame if they killed him off now.
@gcollins1992 Yeah I thought about that theory but I have to disagree with it. I feel like they used the boy to represent A-Trains nephews who he let down. Having the boy look and smile at A-Train was probably just to show A-Trains positive impact after changing. I could be completely wrong, and they go that route 💀 I definitely agree with you though, he's become a well liked character and I definitely want to see him do more, I'd hate for him to die in a futile way.
A-train in the thumbnail be like - “imma die a hero. They’re goin love me forever, people will name their children after me and I will inspire others in becoming A-train.” 😂
The virus currently spreads via bodily fluids. One episode later firecracker starts lactating. There you go, that's how homelander can get the virus, improved version, spreading over the globe, or just being sick in bed for a lil bit.
