I like The Boys, but I’m glad you pointed out how it can go overboard with politics to the point that it’s annoying, or in my opinion, ignorantly biased.
"... violence, I've seen people on Twitter, getting sick of" Man, are there really people watching THIS show and expecting it not to be violent? I truly wonder
First 3 episodes were a letdown imo. Worst episodes of the entire series so far. Felt rushed and convoluted. Hope they bounce back next week. Rough opening.
I made it through two episodes and it was a chore. And basically nothing happens. Also, their portrayal of left VS right is hilariously out of date compared to 2024 politics.
I look forward to it. I’m not huuuuuuuuge on The Boys as 99.999% of the rest of the world is but I do like the show and it keeps me interested enough to keep coming back 👍
Yeah definitely don’t say as 99.999% of the rest of the world, you don’t speak for me, i freaking love it, definitely a new top 5 🤣🙏🏻 and i know so many others who love it, so don’t say 99% of others lmao 🫡
Yeah we gonna need all the episodes and spoilers. I’ve thought each season has topped the next and was nervous about Season 4. Hope the next 5 episodes will hit better for you. Great review!
Zach said the first three episodes were the worst of the season but it becomes terrific by the end but ign gave it a 7 so I’m really hoping you like the season.
@@manvirshergill1739 and @Jadensdivine You two morons can't understand, He is hoping atleast one guy he is familar to, likes it so it is actually good. Is it so hard to understand that?
Did you get to watch the rest of the season? If so what do you think? I personally think the first 3 episodes are pretty solid with some rushed moments but, still great. I’d give the first 3 an 8. I think it’s hilarious that people are just now realizing who the show is making fun of, like it’s always been making fun of lol.
Can I ask, are there any scenes where we see Homelander fight? Also good review, I had a feeling they might lean too heavily on the real life parodies, so I’m not surprised you pointed that out. Still super excited for tonight though
I look forward to it. I’m all for if they make fun of politicians, but I wish they can make fun of both sides equally so that all audiences get to enjoy the show together. They’ve been doing this, I’m not saying they haven’t, but as of now, it seems to be shifted towards one side, but idk man this is just my thoughts.,
Except in 2024, nuance doesn't mean nothing especially how real life politicians are acting like total morrons and total dumbass and capitalist company who are also in that verge. That's the biggest problem of Disney, trying to be apolitical and have nothing to offered and then X-Men 97 came , we don't want escapism nowadays sadly, it's so good that a creation takes position and want to tell something@@twentyfivemelody
I've heard this season is very good but not great like seasons 2 & 3. I think this season is just setting everything up for the 5th and final season which I truly think will be phenominal. Sad to say it will be ending but better to burn out then fade away. Plus we've still got Gen V and I'm sure other spin offs will come 😉😁
I find the boys interesting but ive never loved it as a show. And this season so far is doing the political thing way too much. you’re right it is getting to the point of annoyance we all like to laugh at ourselves and we all like to laugh at the other political party but its getting overdone
I really appreciate The Boys showing how politically charged the current environment is in this pivotal election cycle. European elections have seen a huge surge in the far right. There is no room for fence sitting. If it helps reach a younger voter base I am all for it. You don’t get to be a Nazi and partake in edgy cultural products. I think it is brilliant and I hope they keep driving the point home.
@@tableshaper4076 Good thing they aren't American, where the phrase MAGA would actually matter to him. The differences are pretty MEGA, if you ask me.
@@AustinBurke You’re the only one whining like a child. You had the privilege of getting to be one of the first people to watch it and the first thing you did was whine and moan about the social commentary that’s ALWAYS been in the series 😂 maybe tune back into FOX News and “cope” 😂
Again, all I see here is a child complaining. It’s completely fine if you disagree, but your sarcasm is on the immature side of things. Dial it back. Maybe work on yourself before trying to call out other people.
The political parody was there from the beginning and Antony Starr literally said he based Homelander on Trump at Comic Con before season 1 even came out.
Have we ever loved villain more than hero like we do in boys, antony Starr is the heart and soul of this show this show is nothing without him, the range of acting he shown from one season to another not letting this become cliché supervillian is just thing of genius, if he doesn't get emmy to his name for this role it would. Be absolute robbery
