Okay so Annie still got her hits in. She just needed someone to distract him for a second but so it doesn't necessarily look like Deep is TOO MUCH stronger than her, I think he's probably just more durable and maybe more of a brute force. It's lame that her powers are being whacky for so long but she's clearly strong af.

I love how Starlight was actually useful in this fight. She uses right moves to disable The Deep. This fight really makes me so hyped. And A-Train's performance in this fight was incredible

I don't like what the writers did with Starlight. Yes, she is still in shock because her secret was revealed and how she messed things up with Huey, and also because Firecracker wants to take revenge on her, but this is the Deep, it's a perfect opportunity to develop Starlight and satisfy the audience by killing him. Because as we know, The Deep is the reason for everything that happened to Starlight, and with her revenge, she will be able to confront Firecracker and mend her relationship with Huey.

Notice how when M.M is shooting the gun butcher and Annie who are supes start covering their ears because they hear higher than normal humans
