The Branch Display 

I will confess that we haven't done a lot of work lately with Branch Displays but that doesn't mean that they aren't useful.
One of the points that I make often is that conventional seismic displays are so poor that they pass right through the visual system without comment. They are, in point of fact, processed entirely by the cognitive processes of the cerebral cortex rather than the visual processes of the visual cortex.
If you don't get what that means, join the club. It took me 8 years and a PhD in visualization to understand why. Watch the video and hopefully it will all come clear.
