I overpaid to be at Ford Field last night. As a life-long Lions fan it was the most incredible live sports event I've ever been at. The fans in Detroit are unmatched the energy was everywhere for blocks around the stadium and once inside it was a night I will never forget.

I love that they mentioned Fox stepping up when the offense sputtered, but the unsung hero of the game was Badgley. He was the only kicker in the entire NFL to go less than 50% on 50+ yard FG attempts. He stepped up for a 54-yarder and drilled it straight through the middle. Huge. Those points ended up being the difference. I love this team. Everyone stepped up and made a contribution when we needed it.

We've had season tickets since 1950. Gramps (89) isn't about to go up and down stairs anymore. We sold the 2 seats and bought handicap seats for the game. I was 1 the last time we won a playoff game and all I've wanted was to see a home playoff game with my grandpa. Cheers were loud, tears were flowing. LET'S GO LIONS

I was 7 yrs old and cried watching the Lions lose 5-0 to the Cowboys in the playoffs in 1970. Didn't realize I'd be an adult before they even made in back to the playoffs in '82. Sat through subsequent decades of abysmal disappointment as they sank to become the losingest franchise in all of professional sports. The resurrection to relevancy and to Sunday's playoff win was like a phoenix from the ashes. For once friends don't pity me for wearing Lions gear. They actually are genuinely happy for me.

Incredibly happy for the Lions and Detroit. The team finally has found the culture and guts to play with anybody, while the city is slowly rebuilding itself into something better. Its been blue skies my whole life as a GB fan, but I try to not take for granted who hard it can be to have a team struggle for so long.

Lifelong Lions fan. I was born in '82 and grew up watching Barry Sanders, with Wayne Fontes somehow getting us into the playoffs every year, only to lose. I honestly remember all of the Christmas parties where my dad and uncles would be talking about which teams needed to win and lose for us to get in, only for us to lose the next game. That is how I grew up. This is magic to me, because I had to latch on to other teams like the Patriots because of Tom Brady because he played at U of M.

My Lions journey started as a kid in the Barry days but I didn't consistently watch until the year 2000 season which ended with a loss to a Bears MSU kicker (GO BLUE) to eliminate us from the playoffs and hook me in for the next two decades of utter failure! Not to mention, that 2000 game was only on radio in the Detroit area back in those days! Hahaha I'm 36 but us Lions fans under 40 have waited our whole lives for this to finally happen...and it feels good. It happened on my wife's birthday to boot, in a year when our first child is on the way in a matter of weeks. Let's go win a SB for my child so she can remember a different Lions and start her journey in a better way! Love you, guys!
