The acknowledgement that they are heroic even as he calls them fools is such a good touch. Respect and insults for the people he only half agreed with.
Magneto never hated the X-men or Charles. He simply disagreed with their ideology, thinking it a waste of time. He often offered the X-men honored seats of power in his new regime, should it have ever came to fruition, as they, and Charles (as Sir Ian McKellen's Magneto Beautifully put it in X-men 2:) "...have done more for Mutant-kind than you will ever know!"
Magento would have been fine with--and admired--the X-Men if their ideas actually came to fruition. He just didn't think there was a chance in hell it would actually happen.
Ikr. So beautiful 😊I hope Michael Fassbender is secretly back as Magneto again for Deadpool and Wolverine. Dude looked so badass as Stelios in 300 with long hair. I wanna see my boy back with that same look but in white hair!!!😊
It would be hillarious to have Ryan's Deadpool make some Fassbender jokes... and he did do an absolutely stellar job as Magneto, but we'll see, guess we won't know unless they announce it or until the film releases!
@JnEricsonx Man. I'm aware Norm Spencer passed away some time ago. But to now find out that David Hemblen, the man who for me is the voice of Magneto passed away four years ago? That's another blow to my childhood.
David Hemblen was also Jonathan Doors on Earth: Final Conflict. I didn’t know he was Magneto. But now that I listen again I hear the voice. It’s Magneto and it’s Doors.
That was such a non-Magneto thing to say from that 3rd film. So out of character for someone who considers himself a protector of mutants. That said, I still enjoy that film better than most of today's superhero films, even with it's faults.
"No more Logan, foolish, *foolish* man. It ends for us both now. Our long association, my most visceral enemy, my most respected foe..." *_"IS OVER!"_*
“Only two kinds of people survive on the battlefield: the strong and the cowardly. The brave always die first. That’s just how it’s always been.” -Bluejam, One Piece
he's the only magneto who can create magnetic force fields(like he does in the comics) unlike the magneto shown in the X-Men movies if he had this power in the movies jean wouldn't have been able to even touch him
Dont ask a female about this kind of stuff , her head was with bold and the beautiful and days of our lives, yoing and the resless , as the world turns 💀🤡🤦♂️🤮👎
@@jpf7942 I'm not talking about his relationship with Rogue, I'm referring to the weird way they animated him. Magneto is not suppose to look like a creep from the Subway. Compare Magneto from the original series to the X-Men 97' version. Why would they change his look so much? It's bizarre!
@@jpf7942 They literally look completely different. The 97' version has a much darker and sinister looking face (especially around the eyes). Speaking of eyes, it's time to get your eyes checked. 😆
@juanmaidana3421 I've never watched Superman the animated series but as for Justice League, it's my second favorite superhero show behind Spider-man TAS
@@mercedestrenz1881 You should check out STAS probably the best Superman TV show to date beats the pants off the films. "The Mr. Kent" and "Apokalips... Now 1 and 2" are stand out episodes.
That was the weirdest thing coming back to X-Men 1990s after like 30 years from when I watched it as a kid... MAN I'm OLD. ANYWAYS, I just never realized how much they talked about death in that first season alone. Still surprisingly holds up, but man is it a downer of a series that really went over my 6yo head.
@@bobfg3130 Pretty sure this version of him is Jewish, well the TAS verison. They showed in one of the episodes his family dealing with the Nation party and later when he and Xavier helped a woman, he found out the soldiers that attacked had ties to that party and nearly killed them before Magneto could finish them off.
I mean he pretty much was. He'd always went up against people that couldn't really fight back. sometimes he'd get revenge on behalf of the powerless but often there'd be alot of collateral damage and innocent people or people that couldn't really fight back that ended up getting harmed or killed due to his bullshit.
@@LordMoebius tbf to magneto, he can control metal and a handful of them still nearly killed him. he only survived cause the xmen found him before he died of his injuries. so from his perspective, the guy most suited for taking the sentinels down couldnt do it, what chanced did anyone else have?
The 90s Xmen cartoon was just hitting hard and will continue to hit hard for ages to come...and other points just age like wine or milk. But we drinking good either way!
So how are they going to portray Magneto in future iterations? He was a Holocaust survivor, and with how much time is passing between then and now there won't be any left. Will they make him go through a time portal with Xavier, or just give him a new origin story?
Magneto was more so an anti hero than a villain. Sure he had villainous intent but he did it for his own life’s experiences reasons rather than him disliking humanity just for the sake of being evil. The only human he ever cared for was his mother and she suffered a heartbreaking death in front of him
Do you know I just started watching XM 97 and I was like why is magneto hair like that so I went back to watch this and realize oh wow every since I’ve been watching the old school X-Men as a kid I never seen magneto without a helmet and to be honest with you I actually watched the whole season a couple years ago during Covid. I just forgot.
Would anyone be saying that with all the wars we had to go through All those people who had to go in first I feel bad for them it is for those brave souls who die that the next batch of men can do better their deaths were not in vain
Oh, mags. You greatly underestimate the courageous Also the stupid but I can’t remember the episode so I’m not pointing fingers for once when saying it.
