Empire at war is a fun strategy game that requires preparation. Daley: Ha ha ships go boom boom

1.Try out Instant action / fleet builder !! You can just make two masive fleets, throw them at each other and watch a cinematic battle. 2. Enable the cruel AI !!! ;) ( Don't do that) 3. Get your ships together. You don't need ships at defence, just a few mobile fleets. Ships move fast in this mod so you can quickly respond and whoud not get picked apart like at the start. 4. Max out your economy at the start. Mines/ tax colectors and trade stations are cheap and they whoud pay for themself in like 2-3 weeks and than make masive profit. This mod have the most profitable economy of them all, and it whoud make the entire game much easier for you. 5. Get all Jedi together and create the unstopable hitsquad. 6. Watch some of Corey Loses videos (the ones about updates and mechanics), he is the developer of this mod and you will quickly learn what's up if you watch a few. 7. Play some base game, just a bit to remind yourself about basic mechanics, it's much easier to learn mods mechanics when you know the base game ones. 8. And most importantly, don't be ashemed to retrate, sometime you have to do it, to survive to fight another day.

remember that you can retreat also dont build stuf all around the map, build stuff in the core, consolidate your power before attacking the rim

Daley tips for later on Target the hangers on enemy Lucrehulks, Providences and Droid carriers or your fighters and bombers will get torn apart by the SHEER number of Vulture Droids. Another few tips: The Boost 'blank' abilities also have bad things Say Boost Weapons increases fire rate and damage but lowers shields and slows your ship down Boost Shields slows the ship and reduces fire rate and Boost Engines speeds the ship up but it reduces fire rate and shields Its a balancing act to know when to use those abilities at what time. Also when the enemies go to retreat drop everything and target their engines. they can't jump to hyperspace if their engines have been taken out

Daley you need to secure the core and hover over the heroes to see what they have and do and near the map there is 4 small buttons and press them when your in a battle or paused you can not move troops you need to make troops at kaimio because they cost 1

Tips! : 1. There are multiple factions than The Republic and CIS there are the Commerce Guild,Trade Federation,Techno Union and The Banking Clans 2. Do Not Leave Any Planet Unguarded and definitely not on the ground 3. If Your Attacking Focus on Shield Generators and Engines Example : The End Battle Of The Episode (On Alderaan I think) if you attacked the frigates engine you could have killed both 4. The hunt mode is sometimes useful but it usually just makes your fighters wander around the map 5. In The Top Left Of The Screen it shows you the name and what faction owns the planet your clicking on and shows where your getting attacked at 6. Just... target subsystems....

I think it's a cross between men of war assault squad 2 star wars mod and total war

You need to play it smart dont just head in guns a blazing

Daley tip If you did not know already there is a square in the top left corner of the fleet box that you can put a ship in to hyperspace in first so you can then bring in after that whatever ship you want to.

It’s funny you play this now because I also just started playing Empire at War again about a week ago. Edit: Also yes if no one else said it Kuat is the BIG DADDY ship building planet.

Good strategy! Ive loved XCOM but love to see what kind of other clone wars related games or clone mods for different games there are. You are the true clone commander and you rock my man

Daley when you are attacking capital ships, it’s best to give fighters specific targets. Usually best is shield generator -> hangars -> engines. Also use your fighters to guard the bombers, not just shoot the ship

Yes yes yes omg yes thx so much for doing this daily this is my Dream come true. I suggest trying to tech up to venators as quick as possible as they are the backbone of the republic navy however before then purchase arquintince class.Also build up as many economy structures as possible. For grand strat secure the core first then push out also make défense fleets at magor places ex. Kuat carusant correllia. Abandon outer rim places such as rishi moon bothuwa/bothui and mon cala. Trust me there not gonna survive so just retreat now. Build ships at kuat and correllia clones at lamine and tanks at anaxes and rothana. Sry this is getting long again tho I love empire at war do more of it also tho Rico’s brigade soon plz

I have a Tip I sometimes do, when you don't think you can win a battle, just sell all the units on the planet, that way you earn money basically by losing.

Place a ship in command of the fleet, in the highlighted box when you look at the forces on the planet. Doing that allows you to jump your ships in where you want them at.

1. Built capital shipyards ASAP 2. Build one big fleet and focus on one area to attack 3. Use prob droids before you attack a planet

YOOO IVE BEEN WATCHING EMPIRE AT WAR SINCE I WAS 10 (I suggest you pause every so often to recuperate) I'M SO glad that ur playing this :::)))))))

Tips 1 when you boost weapon power it takes away shields and speed 2 shipyards will spawn you free units based on their size

1:heavily invest in your main planets (Kuat, Coruscant, Rishi, Kamino, Rothana, and any other big production/economy planets) 2:always put your main carriers in the back (excluding the venator) 3:fighters are your best friends, if you win the fighter fight it is likely you are way stronger than the enemy. 4:have a mobile fleet in the core to defeat any attacking fleets. 5: don’t just use big ships also use smaller support craft and learn your formations. 6:don’t enable cruel AI!!!!! (I say this because you seem like a big noob currently) 7:remember to never auto resolve and never uses ground unit transports in fights. 8:strike teams will also be your best friends. 9:jedi are elite fighters 10:always protect Kuat and Coruscant 11:you can’t move things in time freeze mode 12:different colors represent different factions (don’t attack dark red planets) 13:don’t spend all your credits immediately

13:00 you can use scout droids to view enemy territorys, you have to build the scoutie boysss

I've not played EAW for a long time, but I always did better in space warfare. As the Empire, I captured Mon Cala, Kuat, Sullust and Fondor (the shipyards capable of building capital ships) and just churned out dozens and dozens of Star Destroyers. The frequency of attacks should slow down, but when you aren't under attack, use the time to establish fleets and increasing your credit income. Upgrading the space stations upped the total number of units available to you, so the more stations you construct and improve, you'll have more at your disposal. For now, I'd say focus on naval assets, move your Jedi into space positions above key worlds for added defense. Hopefully you'll be manufacturing plenty of Venators to really reinforce your naval backbone. May the Force be with you :)

I used to play this way back, always have a good, large fleet ready to slap the droids. Edit: *Daley, they outnumber us 3 to 1!* *Then it is an even fight.*

Daley when the enemy fleet is attacking you, send units into battle and try to destroy the hangars of the enemy ships. Even if you lose something during an attack, you will get reinforcements. If you have a big advantage, if you destroy the engines of the enemy ship, it won't run away. And try to destroy shield generators.

If you want to see enemy forces on another planet, you can build a probe droid and drag it to whatever planet you want to.

If you select the whole fleet at the same time they will go at the same pace as each other which mean your fighters will be as slow as your cap ships you should probably split up your forces in the battle itself

with that first battle i thought "i have used a lvl 1 station to fight off like 21 ships if i can do that u can do this"

Daley couple of things 1st with this mod heroes dont comeback upon death you also need to buy the kuat drive intiative on kuat give you access to republic battleships, also recommend settings fleets to have a ship in the box it makes it so that not all your ships come in at once and also allows you to select what ships arrive in the battle. Also clone ai will change legion depending on what hero joins the fight, ex: anikan joins the clones become 501st, obi wan 212th, 187th mace windu, etc etc

F for shipyard, F for PDF dreadnaughts, F for Correllian Corvettes, F for Garrick cruiser, and F for Arquentiens light cruiser

Btw, your fighters are your biggest advantage in space, use them wisely.

Here’s a few tips to help you out, 1. Don’t spend money on space stations unless you are in a huge space battle that is super important 2. Save around 3k every round so that you can save money for bigger ships and tech levels later in the games. 3. Secure the core and your holdings in the outer rim. Then once the core is secure you can make a pathway to your forces in the outer rim and kill the seepies 4. The CIS is more of a faction of 4 companies than once force, so there are different colors for different companies. 5 The dark red planets are Republic planets that are neutral in the war and are meant as buffer zones so that you nor the CIS can attack through there.

Change the movement keys to WASD and also build shipyards and factories on most planets and focus building larger shipyards on ship building worlds.

soooo when defending you want to hug the space station also ships have sort of designated perferd targets for lack of better words so small corvets are better at fieghters not ships in pause you can't order things to move but building you can also when it says enemy fleet approching look at the top left it will tell you where also when you go into the fleet where you see whats in it move a small ship into the slot on the left

Daily really take an in depth look at all the mods for this game in general

İf you play like this it will really be fall of Republic. I don’t know this good but my advice is be careful with lucrehulks. They are more powerfull than venetors so you will need more than a few support ships. However in Clone Wars version they don’t appear until like tech upgrade 3 so this will be harder. Also if you don’t have enough land force use hero characters to do raids. For rest, watch videos and read comments. Also last two things. (But they may be diffrent for fall of Republic.) Mygeeto and Mintooine are well defended but when you have enough force you must invade them. Mygeeto is a mining planet so when you invade it build as many mines as you can. And Minttoine is the only planet that can make Malavelonce.

Also use your bombers wisely and Specifically make them target the individual targets on the big ships!!!!! (Sheild generators then guns, etccc)

For the fighter careers you must go for shields and then hangers so then they can't get more fighters and the giant ship you fort they have practically infante fighters and for your ships keep them compact and upgrade your space stations so then you get bigger ships for free also upgrade your tech tree

Daley you need to build up your defence forces. You do this by building capital shipyards which will be a great help for ur bois

You need to do a maul serried like Rico’s brigade where he hads mandalorians under his control

Fortify the core and kaminos cluster of planets then push out of the core to kamino and take out the banking clan early.

Your for starts you need to look around the map and see what worlds you need to send ships and fortify them ( with velocity cans and better space stations if at all possible) as best as you can. Also you need to figure out what worlds you want to take and push to limit there travel to your main worlds like a bite of a buffer zone. Also take a look a what each ship does and use them for what they are best against. Also a quick tip when you look at your fleet put one ship in the first slot that’s blue, when you do this that one ship will come out of hyperspace and then you can place your ships however you feel like it. Also if your loosing a fight or they brought a fleet to a world that has a small fleet try and retreat and save those ships and add them to fleets that need more ships. Also try add build a capital shipyard cause that’s where you will be able to build better and stronger ships. An finally try and improve your economy as much as possible so at the end of every month you will get a lot of money.

I don't think daley knows that the 1 kill he was trying to get had better armor plating than most of the other ships.

You also have to start attacking plants that have too many attack lanes

Put a camander in your hoper space camnd

click the 4 icons in the corner and it tells you everything you know about the planet

Loved the video Daley! You need to build a decent fleet of two and start making moves into enemy territory, leaving a pickett fleet to support ground troops wouldn't hurt either as their job is to ensure that the guys on the ground get way they need as well as to prevent the enemy from moving in on your boys! I'm not sure if this will help but try using a "Cruiser/Corvette squadron" with 2 Arquitens, 4 CR90 "Corellian Corvette's", and 8 Consular C70's; you can beef up the numbers if you want with 8 Fighters and 4 bombers in case you go against some Providence's and Munificent's or a couple of those assault carriers. Other than that, I would suggest you watch Eckhartts ladder and Corey's Joint command stream series, I personally have only seen the first video but it's good nonetheless, though he is going hardcore by playing as the new republic, admiral difficulty, and cheating AI.
