yet these trains are pretty rare in europe if available at all. I've traveled all over the continent and never seen these locomotives with an engine in the front. in europe they're usually Alstom or stadler which are EMU units and most of the railways in europe are electrified which allow for a quiet and fast ride. the US only has the north east corridor electrified.

@user-ft2dq1dt8n Dutchie here, i’ve used the Eurostar multiple times before, too bad our rail here in Europe isn’t an internationally connected system. Hey Tony. I really enjoyed the vid. I must reveal that my buddy and I rode the Brightline from Miami to WPB the very first week it went live to the public. It's probably unbelievable that the ticket price was just $10 for the opening weekend. Inside the Downtown Miami complex, my first feeling was like "I'm I at the Airport or what?" We did not do premium level, but with the layout, the comfort, the views (without wraps), the newness, and the cleanliness of the passenger spaces, the experience was still amazing. Your production quality is on point; optics, composition, transitions, and story-telling are all top notch. Thanks for sharing this experience. As much as I appreciate Brightline service, we should be honest in that 125mph for a 40-mile segment does not really qualify as "high speed." Still, they need to expand to many more corridors and build ACTUAL high speed railways.

@@tonygauthierjr Nope. Not even close. First of all, both the Acela and the Northeast Regional run at 125+ mph for more than 50% of their routes. They're both considered HSR lines by international standards. Brightline doesn't even come remotely close to that. About 50% of the Brightline route is at 80 mph, about 20% is at 110 mph (with interruptions), and less than 8% is at 125 mph, but for some reason single-tracked. Amtrak has several routes that stay above 110 mph for more than 40% of their routes - the Wolverine, the Lincoln Service, and the several routes that run on the NEC. @@mikeymutual5489 from what I’ve heard from another viewer, they used to provide free alcohol in the Premium lounge. If they offer it on the train, then why not in the lounge? After all, you only have access for an hour prior to departure anyway. The most someone might have is 1-2 glasses of wine or beer with their food. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Thanks for watching! ✊🏾

@@tonygauthierjr Or someone who sits there at the taps could have many more drinks than that and then go on the train sloppy drunk. I'd rather keep the premium fares competitive than for the company to waste money on unlimited booze. Thanks for the video.

@@mikeymutual5489I rode Brightline last December on premium from Orlando to WPB. Several guys drinking heavy in lounge and continuing on train. They were sh**faced by the time we got to WPB. They ended up being kicked off because they were singing and cursing loud. Trip was hell for the rest of us. I literally put my earbuds on highest volume and kept my head down from Melbourne south. Couldn't wait to get off.😞

@@MrJoeairman2000 Interesting. Yeah, a couple of free drinks should be enough for most people!

I have to laugh, the Brightline trains speed thru downtown Stuart at about 15 MPH and sled thru Jensen Beach even slower. Blood line is a mess, biggest boondoggle in the state. Should have used the Amtrak tracks west of the populate areas instead of blaring horns and dragging cars down the tracks. It is a joke See how empty the station is? The trains are the same way.

The train and stations were quite full in both Orlando and Miami when we rode it. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than anything else we have in the US right now.

What a joke! Brightline is like a turtle compared to European trains. When I’m in Italia I take Frecciarosa whiz does ~300kmh of about 200mph. Brightline barely does half that 😂😂😂

@@stevenaudino4249 no one is trying to compare it with European trains. It’s a great step in the right direction for trains in the US.

Who cars ??? Answer, no-one, it's 100% better then, Amtrak, next time drive your Texas Sized truck to Orlando.
