@@WanderlustinMI yes it does I have to push it against my wall or something like that to keep the paint bottles from falling out every time I need one of them .
I love those paint supply holders. Wow. I just went through my paints and threw away some empties. I have about 14 large paint bottles and about 30 small ones now. I just emptied 2 large ones and a few small ones yesterday. I keep those little paint containers you can buy that has six different colors. I use those for my small projects since they are so handy to reuse. Thank you for finally slowing down your videos and explaining what you are doing in detail.
Both of theses projects were so clever. They both would make excellent gifts. I could se a set of the trays as wall decor in a kitchen. Keep doing you!!
As much as fusion ultra grip, fusion paint, transfers and guiding wax costs why put it on a $1plastic tray? Why not use something that will stand up a little better?
Yeah, when he said that now it doesn’t even look like a $1 tray, I thought, “That’s because you added all those things to it!” But, it will still break like a $1 tray!
The fusion ultra grip & paint, transfers & guiding wax are obviously not depleted. They can be used for other projects. So well worth the $'s to be creative while using something that could end up in a land fill.
Good point. Maybe use a heavier plastic or even glass to give the ceramic look. I have a glass tray with embossed with fruit on the back that I painted in 1999 with regular acrylic paint and have used & thrown in the dishwasher over the years. Still looks great, but now I'm going to remove the paint & use my cooler fusion mineral paint colors to give it the ceramics look.
I have my paint tubes lined neatly along two shelves, until I try to take one off and there is a domino effect, and not a neat one either, what a great idea for those annoying bottles and tubes, Thank you and they can be seen, excellent 👍
I think the tray idea is a good DIY project for beginningers Thanks for the idea. Now I know what to use for my keys, glasses, and other things for work
Both project great. I thought the napkin holder was going to be a wine bottle holder. Guess the holes are too small but still great idea. And the tray gives ideas for so much more. Would like to know where you got the transfers.
The tray sure looks pretty but it is very flimsy. It breaks super easily. All the work that you put in to making it this pretty goes down the drain easily.
Did I miss something? There was a woman showing us organization crafts and suddenly there was a man showing a tray. I'm confused. I feel like I missed some of what the woman was making.
The photo at the start shows new shape of napkin holder. It's square. Will that work as well? I remember when they changed the s/p shakers and holder...liked first one for diys. 😔
I love both ideas but why waste so much time and paint on the bottom of the tray for the second project? Just paint the sides and underlip a tiny bit and call it done.
I did that but my paint bottles would fall out of the back, plus I have different sizes. The small chalk paint bottles and the acrylics are are longer.
