Holder of numerous world speed records including world's fastest motorcycle at 169.8 mph. The bike featured in this video is owned by Paul Woelbing and is only one of eighty-one 1937's that are known to still exist. Seen at the 2024 Mama Tried Custom Motorcycle Show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

@trippontwowheels yes we did.. We were there Saturday which was crazy busy and then Sunday to actually take some pictures since it was slow in the morning.. There was some amazing builds there that's for sure

Fantastic bike! Two British guys set a couple of of world records on them at Bonneville a few years back. Colonel TE Lawrence, a famous British WW1 hero, known as Lawrence of Arabia, owned 8 and lost his life on one in 1935. (a bit of trivia from this side of the pond!) They're making new Brough Superiors in France, not bad looking bikes but not a patch on the originals!

I really enjoyed this Tripp down memory lane. It's hard to beat a Brough Superior. I owned a '39 model E Knucklehead only 214 produced. Medium compression for police and sidecar use.

BS bikes were pricey but affordable for motorcycle enthusiasts. It was 2X the price of a SpeedTwin and just a little bit more than a Austin 7 car. A BS with a side car was more than a Austin 7 but they chose the bike over the car a true biker.If you look at pictures of BS rallys you see every day people with their kids. If those bikes were still around they would be in the price range of a big Harley Davidson. Now the money men have priced them at astronomical high prices making them a commodity like gold. They were bitsas but they were still a quality machine. Now they are the price of a house 🏠.
