It happened to everyone he ministered to as well, no one continued taking acid but initially he did and it is part of the story that must be told if one accepts the truth of what happened!

Many Christians drink coffee, eat lots of chocolate and sugar (all of which come from plants which produce a "pick me up" result) while they judge others who use medical marijuana! Many take xanax and other pharmaceutical drugs to help with depression but won't consider natural remedies. The Science is in and growing! Watch CHANGE YOUR MIND on Netflix. Marijuana is used by Shamans to go into trances. It is witchcraft or pharmakia in the Greek which is strictly forbidden in the Bible. You can’t expect broken people to not go about things in a broken way. At least their was young people going after Jesus and seeking for a higher understanding of God. Now a days we just have the drugs, addictions distractions and deceptions (in and out of the church) and the young people are leaving the church is a mass exodus or not even believing in the first place. Less and less people are seeking after Jesus. Regardless of the drugs, people came to Christ and Christ took care of the rest. This is just like the wedding feast, and God is going to send his servants out there to gather of the lost and broken, dirty and different, to fill the seats at his table. They might not be what we expect, but their all still children of God and trying to follow his voice. But once the come in and answer the call on their hearts, who they were is no more and they will be transformed into a new creation in Christ Jesus. We need a new wave of revival and hunger for the ways of God. From these young outsiders will rise up great men and women of God. Preachers & teachers will be molded by the hands that receive them, so I pray that the truly Godly and Christ Focused will accept them in to their churches and minister unto them and disciple them and rear up strong foundations that the enemy will not be able to destroy. This generation doesn’t know just how much they need Jesus, or how much God wants them. I pray we can all be better servants and help reach this world for Christ. I pray revival comes again, as it did then, and sweeps up a generation with a passion and burning in their hearts for the things of God. I pray that the kingdom of God can be heard rejoicing for the souls we all win for Jesus if we just go out and love on the lost and introduce them to the life changing power in the words of God. Be the example of Jesus to the world around you, because you might be the only Jesus the world around you ever sees. Speak truth, live peacefully, and love like Jesus.
God wants us to know him via proper doctrine. Not by moral commandment keeping. The pharisees thought they did not sin and thus did not see their need for a savior.
Another question that comes to my mind : Why are the goverments all over the world so eager to " fight the war on drugs" ? It appears that they do not want the people to have experiences like the ones being described ... Ruling the people is easier , when people are stuck in darkness .

In those times Lonnie probably baptized nearly as many or possibly more people than John the Baptist, at a place called Pirates Cove on the beach in Corona Del Mar on the Southern California coast. I grew up on the out skirts of Corona Del Mar & Costa Mesa, as a typical 14 year old surf, swim & sail beach kid in 1968 a few of us roamed pacific coast highway on our bicycles during our formative years '1966-1970 from Laguna beach to Huntington beach witnessing the sudden appearance & massive hippie occupation of our homeland in those years. We called them "Psychonauts" or "Space Cadettes in 1969, same monumental year of the moon landing. Hippies wandering aimlessly, hanging out at the Taco Bell in Laguna beach for some odd reason & always looking for "a happening". When i was 15 i remember some "old hippie" or jesus freak as they were called by many, then in his mid 20's saying "grow your hair & beard long &, look like jesus, play guitar & you'll get all the girls and the best drugs.." Years later the same people seemed to actually worshipped rock stars, being marketed into a Sex, drugs and Rock & roll as a lifestyle, or living like a rock star seemed like something to aspire for so many of them in the 1970's.. the Eternal Brotherhood, Leary, Ram Das, Lonnie Frisbee and a host of other pop culture creatures were just part of everyday street scene we witnessed as kids during that Psychonaut Occupation.

wow thanks for sharing, all california especially LA area is mystical, but not always, in fact NOT ina good way, To me California, been there 1week LA to the north,, wasa weird experience, EVERY MINUTE something weird happened to me. I am psychic and so things happen all around me all the time. California spooks me, One must have ones wits when traveling in California. There are angels walking all about that land. 2 appeared to me while in Ureka. They came out of noiwhere , spoke to me, then disappeared. Must have been a AMAZINGGGGG time late 60's/early 70's along the coast. Too much to take in. Drugs claimed some of my friends here in New Orleans. I HATE all drugs, I almost took a hit of acid, but never went in my mouth, I was 14. Glad God had it miss my mouth. It was a tiny tab of Purple haze, It would have messed me up.
During the 70's I saw people dose babies, pregnant women and dogs. We thought it was good for them. Fast forward to 2023- mental hospitals are full of these people now in their 70s's that can't function, are actively psychotic... Lonnie was a blessing but he was flawed like all of us. That he at one time did acid (like most of us during that time) doesn't prove it was something good

It's definitely something to check out if you want updated information from the medical professionals. Acid started being laced with other ingredients like sticnine and speed. Absolutely, it is true. I started putting two and two together after watching the documentary of Frisbbe the Hippie Preacher. I was also interviewed on television in Pasadena by the same lady who interviewed Lonnie Frisbee's ex wife in which she confirms it verbally and also in other written statements. With knowing already about Lonnie having his gay affair in Laguna Beach and then learning that is where The Brotherhood of Eternal love set up shop, the dots connected. So I checked into it. Scully and Nick Sand made the acid but Leary was behind them 100% getting it out to the world.

Totally correct. This is verifiable. I stumbled upon after watching Orange Sunshine. I thought to myself "This guys made acid to awaken people spiritually and this is exactly what happened to Lonnie Frisbee. He had to get his LSD from these people." As it turned out, I was right.

They sent him away on traveling evangelism. The power of the Holy Spirit caused church problems, so Chuck did not like dealing with it. Lonnie spread these Holy Spirit meetings all over the world. MORE PEOPLE LOVED the Lonnie meetings! Healings, re-charged bodies. I ain't lying. Getting blasted at one of these tent meetings, ODD Fellow's Hall. He came to Morro Bay in 1990, one day only. The meeting was to be 2 hours long, it lasted 6 hours. No one wanted to go home, You got so filled with the Holy Ghost!! A day I WILL NEVER FORGET! Lonnie brought the Holy Spirit and 1/3 the people, who showed up, do NOT LIKE IT!! They JUDGED and freaked out. People speaking in other languages, singing worship songs, a band played in the back ground, while Lonnie spoke And preached. He was like a comedian. I loved it. Not a gay person, Dr. F to you! if you call Lonnie gay!
@Raymond Shaffer Connie left Lonnie for another man, due to he was away too much, evangelizing the world. Chuck Smith did not like Lonnie around, so they sent him away on mission trips. Too many mock Lonnie.He did not like a gay life style, like many like to claim.The move of the Holy Spirit was too powerful and many did not like it.
