In 1994 while living in Dar es Salaam, Temeke-Yombo street suddenly we received one big somali family that had landed in the City. The family had no income or any money to sustain itself. In short they had nothing to eat but they had a place to live. They came to our house to ask for help. My mom had a special heart (RIP), she took over the responsibility to feed them and my dad become a very good friend to the man and his family. After a short time they got a way to survive. Ten years later the family was successful through business. They even helped dad when he was in his bankrupcy time. The struggle is resl men!

Am Tanzanian and i used to work for Mr Mahad a very nice guy him and his family are very kind!

Very educating and inspiring. You should come to Zambia and see how we Somalis in Zambia have progressed business wise. The biggest Cargo transportation companies in Zambia belong to Somalis. I think after East Africa and South Africa, Zambia is the next place where Somali presence is notable in Africa. Hereri visited us and did a partial documentary and it didn't cover fully what it was intended to.
